Yoga Side Plank - part of the women's fitness video series by GeoBeats. This is Maryam and this is Side Plank. You're going to start lying down on your side, bringing your elbow right underneath your shoulder. Extend your legs out in front. Feet are stacked on top of each other. From here, press into your heels, lifting the hips up off the floor. The top hand can either come right alongside your hips or back behind your head. Hold for thirty seconds and continue to inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth. On your last breath, you're going to lower those hips down, tuck the knees in towards your chest and sit right back up.
