Gunfire rings out in Tripoli, state TV shows 'criminals'

Eastern Libya was in revolt on Thursday as an insurrection against leader Moamer Kadhafi intensified. Amateur images shot on a mobile phone showed gunfire ringing out at Green Square in Tripoli. (AFPTV obtained these images from YouTube: we can confirm that they were shot in Green Square and that were shot very recently, but we cannot guarantee their precise origin or shooting date.)
