Many companies are complaining that there's a shortage of skilled applicants and that trainees lack promise. Some businesses are scouting for new talent in high schools. One shipping company in Bremen has even founded a school where students can take a school-leaving certificate with a focus on maritime issues.Graduates from the Beluga College are therefore ideal recruits for the shipping business.
