In our work we took the concept of Ardhanarishvara - the 'male' part of Shiva being bharatanatyam, and 'female' odissi dancer - to the music composition of Anouska Shankar, and reading by Anna Łopatowska. It was performed and choreographed by Aleksandra Michalska-Singh and Alicja Kaczorek, soloists of the Nataraja Dance Theatre in Warsaw.
