Medical mission in Cebu

Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority Chief Operating Officer Mark Lapid led the Lingkod Lapid medical and social mission in Barangay San Nicolas Proper, Cebu City as part of his series of engagements in Cebu.

The caravan offered free medical, dental and eye checkups, reading glasses, medicines, legal consultations, haircuts, hilot and shoe repair, with 300 to 500 beneficiaries targeted.

In an interview, Barangay Captain Clifford Jude “Rey” Niñal said that while San Nicolas Proper hosted the activity, they also welcomed other service seekers from neighboring barangays.

Lapid was joined by his brother Maynard Lapid, newly appointed Department of Public Works and Highways assistant secretary.
