00:00Hello
00:30Let me share how happy I am to be with people whose mission is to serve others.
00:44This is what I always see in the Philippine Red Cross.
00:49Dedication, sacrifice, and readiness to respond, especially in times of need.
00:56As a mother, and now as Governor of Sabu, I know the worry that comes when a loved one is sick or is in danger.
01:05That is why my healthcare and humanitarian service are very close to my heart.
01:11When we improve healthcare, we are not only treating sickness, we are giving families peace of mind,
01:18we are giving children the chance to grow healthy, and we are giving communities hope for the future.
01:26But I also believe that no one can do this alone.
01:30The provincial government, the Red Cross, our cities, towns, and paradise, we are stronger when we work together.
01:39Collaboration is the key to reaching more people, responding faster and serving better.
01:44Your team, prime for humanity, performance, results, integrity, mastery, and excellence, is very timely.
01:54This is the kind of service our people deserve.
01:58Service that is committed, honest, and compassionate.
02:02And together, we can give our people all this and more.
02:06To the officers and volunteers of Red Cross, thank you for your selfless service.
02:13And to the new leaders, may you lead with humility and courage, always remembering that every decision you make can touch lives, bring hope, and make a difference.
02:25We're in the north, and we're preparing for that.
02:29I woke up very early this morning.
02:31I was afraid I wasn't going to make it, so I made sure we got a plane so that I can come back tonight.
02:38Of course, there will also be demos tomorrow at Brightly Show.
02:41This is a very, very tired country.
02:43We're tired of all the corruption, aren't we?
02:46Yes!
02:47Good, that's good.
02:49Today is a very special day, and that's why I have to come here.
02:51I certainly am not going to miss it because I want to see Governor Pam Palicuatro because I've heard so much about her,
03:01and I want to make sure that pag nakalito tayo ng leader na magaling, dapat magsama ang leader at ang tao,
03:09pagkaransama ang leader at ang tao, lalabas ang galing ng Pilipino.
03:12Today, we are seeing a manifestation of what unity, solidarity, and cooperation can achieve.
03:26We are here in the premier province, or what they call the queen, the queen province or the queen city.
03:32I don't know why I have to designate it as queen.
03:35We are all Filipinos, and certainly, Philippine history started here in Cebu when it's managed to leave that they discovered us.
03:45That's certainly.
03:47And of course, the point here that I want to emphasize is that they reside several documents here that are very, very important.
03:56Number of a woman is life-saving.
03:57The governor of Cebu has put health at the forefront of her administration, and that is very good.
04:05What good is health? What good is life without a good health?
04:08Right?
04:09And foremost to that, always, and the rex was very conscious of that, is the terror of somebody who is going to a hospital.
04:19In this country, it is almost a terrorizing experience when people are going to a hospital.
04:26And that's why I'm very proud that we have a governor that is prioritizing health.
04:33We are also shifting our attention to health.
04:36In fact, we may be putting up the first Red Cross hospital in the country, and it's going to be very big next year.
04:45In the meantime, as I said, I'm not exaggerating.
04:50We always put Red Cross efforts when we see, we look at people.
04:56We'll see you next time.
05:26That's it.
05:31Let's go.
05:34Let's go.
