00:00I want to start with Kelly and Blake.
00:01I can't tell you how excited I was for your storyline.
00:06The minute it was sort of floated that there could be a lavender marriage,
00:09I was like, sign me up, that is actually my dream marriage.
00:12I never imagined I'd ever be a man taking pride in his wife.
00:18I thought we understood each other.
00:23Perfectly.
00:25It's so many of us.
00:26People keep saying it's like, this seems to be the happiest marriage in the show right now.
00:30Yeah, it really is.
00:31It's so much fun.
00:32It is. It's just such a delight.
00:34It's like these two characters that have put so much energy into performing for everybody in public
00:39and finally, like, they get to be together, they get their own big, beautiful home
00:42and in the privacy of their home, they're just, like, unleashed
00:45and all of a sudden their life is full of possibility.
00:47And it's a whole new quality for the show.
00:48You don't see this kind of honest dynamic between characters.
00:50They're so open and quite often there is no one else,
00:52so they're just kind of lounging, gossiping.
00:54And they're kindred spirits, they really enjoy one another's company.
00:57It's like they marry each other's best friend.
00:59Yes, yes.
00:59You said society is predictable, but it doesn't have to be.
01:05You're thinking we should offer something a little more novel?
01:09And it's, you know, what they're offering in terms of this new vision of high society,
01:13which is much more playful and ludic and spontaneous,
01:16is incredibly compelling.
01:17Yeah.
01:17You know, I love that at the moment in the dance party in episode one.
01:23I thought those two had called it off.
01:25They had.
01:27But I suppose on a wedding day, love is only in.
01:31And you go, we've seen the balls, we've seen the codified steps.
01:34There's maximum decorum at the kind of decorous distance.
01:37And suddenly everyone was just, like, mooky smooth.
01:40Yeah, it was going all big time.
01:42Yeah, and every take, you know, John Craffer, the choreographer,
01:45taught us some steps.
01:46He was like, over to you, just do what you do.
01:47And we were just playing.
01:49And it's like, I think it's a wonderful new energy for the show to see, you know.
01:52And I think there's almost a through line from that kind of party to modern day,
01:55where you go, oh, I see where there's a glimpse of modernity to it.
01:58I see where this is all heading.
02:00Yes.
02:00And how they're unafraid to subvert the culture.
02:03They're naturally subversive.
02:04They are.
02:04They take a glee in subvert.
02:06They're disruptors.
02:07It's quite purposeful disruption here, which is, you know.
02:10Strategic.
02:10Yeah.
