00:00I hear it away in pollster Matt Towery, along with Fox News political analyst Reince Priebus.
00:04Matt, you wrote a new book about this.
00:07And you and Robert Cahaley and Rasmussen came out with polls everywhere from Michigan and Texas and South Carolina and
00:17Ohio and Iowa and Kansas and Alaska.
00:20And how is it their polls came out less than 24 hours ahead of yours?
00:24And your polls show that all of these races are pretty much a dead heat.
00:31I'm going to start with this.
00:32The book's called The Honoring of Ignorance, and it is exactly what we're living through right now.
00:36I want to say two things.
00:38The GOP is lucky to have Donald Trump because that man has flown the equivalent from Chicago to Atlanta day
00:46after day, round trip for 30 days traveling around this country.
00:51If the Republicans win Kansas, Iowa, Alaska, many of these states, him being there will be the margin of difference
00:58of that turnout that will win.
00:59I'm not going to tell you right now that the Republicans are winning these races.
01:04What I'm going to tell you is they dug themselves out from an incredible hole.
01:08They were in a big hole, but not the hole The New York Times has.
01:12Most of these races now are within the margin of error.
01:15And in some of these races.
01:16I see 48, 48 in like four states between you, Robert, and Rasmussen.
01:22Absolutely.
01:23In essence, they're tied.
01:24In Alaska, we now have Insider Advantage has it tied.
01:27In Kansas, we have the Republican up by one.
01:30Robert Cahill at Trafalgar.
01:31He has Texas tied.
01:33Rasmussen has Ohio tied.
01:36We have so many.
01:37South Carolina.
01:38Trafalgar now has South Carolina going Republican.
01:41So this bad news bearer story that we got from The New York Times, now they could be entirely right.
01:47And let me just say one thing.
01:48You know, these midterms are hard to poll.
01:51And what gives me a pause for concern is in Georgia, the governor's race, which is a Republican state, it's
01:57a 50-50 race, according to Insider Advantage tonight.
02:00So a lot of work has to be done.
02:01The Republicans have to turn out in massive numbers.
02:04But I want to end with one last comment, Sean.
02:08I was a lawyer.
02:09Used to get an opening statement, closing statement.
02:12There was no opening statement in this campaign.
02:15No one talked about all the accomplishments of Donald Trump in paid advertising, which you have to do to leapfrog
02:20over this media.
02:21But it's been a hell of a great closing statement in Donald Trump traveling around this country.
02:27And if they win, it will be because of him.
02:30The way I interpret what Matt just said, Reince, is that if we have a high turnout tomorrow, and if
02:38everyone takes their responsibility seriously, we are absolutely in this game.
02:43And it's where I've been the entire time.
02:45I can make an argument for any outcome tomorrow, right here tonight on election eve.
02:52Your thoughts?
02:53Well, I agree with everything.
02:56I'm sorry, Reince.
02:57Everyone's got to assume their vote will be the determining vote.
02:59Look, that's how close.
03:01You said to me $100,000 may tip the balance of power in both the House and the Senate.
03:07That's it.
03:07100,000 votes all across the country.
03:11Well, first of all, I agree with everything Matt just said.
03:13I mean, honestly, there are two things after President Trump just spoke.
03:18Number one, he doesn't get the credit he deserves.
03:20And it's frustrating.
03:21There's so many things he did.
03:23Things we've forgotten about.
03:24The DEI on college campuses are border.
03:27I mean, I'm not going to deviate too much, but if we get the turnout that we need, we can
03:35win all of these races.
03:37And what I do is I don't worry so much about the polls right now.
03:40I care that they're close, so we know that.
03:42That's helpful.
03:43But what I look at is where are we at early vote and absentee ballot voting today?
03:47We know what the numbers are.
03:50We know that in Texas, for example, Paxton is slightly ahead of Tallarico.
03:56However, we are going to do better than Tallarico's team on the ground tomorrow because we're going to do better
04:04on election day in Texas.
04:05The bigger question is in Michigan, where we're behind the Democrats on early vote and absentee ballot voting today, can
04:13we get a big enough, number one, Republican turnout?
04:17Are we going to get some disaffected Democrats to cross over?
04:21The Haley Stevens story is a big part of that.
04:24And all of these things together will tell you the story.
04:27We're going to know very quickly tomorrow where this sort of mood is.
04:31When we look at Kentucky, there's a race there that closes at 6.
04:34There's a race in Indiana.
04:36Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, they close at 7.
04:41They're quick.
04:42They are very, very fast voting places.
04:45You can figure this out.
04:46But bottom line, if you are a Republican that likes Donald Trump and there's gazillions of them out there, you've
04:56got to show up tomorrow.
04:57The president's been going bananas, working like a wild man.
05:02And I think that it tells you how much is at stake in this election, especially considering that the Democrats
05:09are going to usher in a bunch of socialists that could bring us all the way back to a place
05:15that we haven't even been before.
05:16They make the squad look like Thomas Jefferson.
05:18Our hope is a high turnout of Republicans and that the Democrats' early vote cannibalize their high propensity voters.
05:26But we'll find out tomorrow.
05:27Matt Towery, Reince Priebus, thank you both.
