03:10It is why I went to district court in Travis County and filed a lawsuit against Greg Abbott.
03:22To demand that Greg Abbott release the emails between him and Elon Musk.
03:33Hundreds of pages of redacted emails that he refuses to hand over because he says they are, quote, intimate and
03:43embarrassing.
03:55I think Greg Abbott is embarrassed that he sold us out.
03:58That's what I think he's embarrassed about.
04:00Because here's what we already know.
04:02We know that he has plans two days after the election to sell our beach, Boca Chica Beach in South
04:10Texas, to Elon Musk.
04:16To launch 456 rockets a year.
04:21When each rocket launches, homes shake in that area like it is an earthquake.
04:27This is where I grew up.
04:29That is the reality we are dealing with.
04:32We know that this summer, Greg Abbott intervened to redirect a $100 million broadband contract to Elon Musk.
04:44An act so corrupt that even Republicans in Austin said this is too much and shut down the whole broadband
04:52program.
04:55And we know that Elon Musk has received $1.7 billion in property tax breaks from Texas.
05:07Poverty taxes, the last time I checked, the rest of us pay full price on, no?
05:13And in fact, they have increased 85% under Greg Abbott.
05:18The reason we pay more and we get less in Texas is because we're all paying the Greg Abbott corruption

06:44Invited by the richest tax breaks in the whole country that Greg Abbott signed into law.
06:51We have no protections for our water.
06:55We have no protections for our electricity costs.

06:59Our rights.
07:00Greg Abbott received $22 million from the data center interests.
07:06And now we all pay the price.

07:13Because Greg Abbott is the most corrupt governor in all of Texas history.
07:20It is why he has spent $180 million in lies about me on TV.

07:32You might have seen one or two.

07:40And for the record, no, I have never not once supported an income tax.
07:45I've never met a Texas politician who supports an income tax.
07:49I don't think it exists.
07:50I've never not once voted to increase property taxes.
07:54And no, I am not working with teachers to try to trans your kids.

08:03Greg Abbott is telling lies about me because he can't run on his record, can he?
08:12Because after 12 years of Greg Abbott, Texas has the most people without health insurance of any state in the
08:21union.
08:24Texas has the most children without health insurance of any state in America.
08:31We have the most people being disconnected from their electricity because they cannot afford to pay their bills in Texas
08:39of any state in America.
08:41In this state that is the energy powerhouse of the nation and beyond, Texans can't afford to keep the lights
08:48on.
08:51We have the most bankruptcies of any state in America.
08:55And it is our small businesses that are struggling to keep their doors open.
09:02That, my friends, is Greg Abbott's record.
09:07He owns it.
09:08He is trying to hide from it just like he is trying to hide from the voters of Texas by
09:16refusing to debate me.
09:25If Greg Abbott is not man enough to debate me, then he doesn't deserve to be the governor of Texas.
09:41And when I am governor, my agenda will be to secure the American dream, the American dream that I grew
09:57up understanding with the promise of this country and absolutely of Texas,
10:01where if you work hard, you can have a good life.

10:09Where one job was enough, where hard work paid.
10:14We secure the American dream in Texas by saving Texas public schools and putting money in your pocket.
10:26We save Texas public schools because they're important to our kids, they're important to our community, they're important to our

10:36There can be no American dream without strong public schools.
10:49Our Texas public schools tell every Texas child you can be anything you want to be if you work hard.

11:04They are the largest employer in so many of our counties.
11:08They are enshrined in our Texas Constitution as being essential for the preservation of our liberties.
11:15I want you to make some noise if you are a proud product of Texas public schools.

11:33And if you are an educator or if you work on a school campus, I want you to raise your

11:47Let's give these teachers, these educators a round of applause.

12:07And please know that help is on the way.
12:14Because when I am governor on day one, I will fire Mike Marath.

12:34to be our education commissioner.
12:40I will wipe clean Greg Abbott's corrupt vendor contracts and use that money to pay our teachers
12:47to be the highest paid in the nation.
12:54I will pause the rigged A through F accountability system that is based on a deeply flawed and
13:05rigged star test.
13:09And we will end the star test once and for all in Texas.
13:19Listen, I still have a son in public school and I crave accountability for his education and for all our
13:26kids.
13:26But we need true accountability, not rigged accountability for Texas public schools.
13:36We secure the American dream in Texas by saving Texas public schools and putting money in your pocket.
13:42And when I say money in your pocket, I mean real money, $1,500, $1,500 to every Texas household.

14:01Unlike Trump's plan, we have that money in Austin, his savings account hoarded by Greg Abbott.
14:07I say, look, that money doesn't belong to the politicians.
14:10It belongs to the people.

14:17I will suspend the gas and diesel tax in the state of Texas because gas prices are too damn high.
14:27I will freeze electricity rates and make sure the corporations, including the data centers, are paying their fair share.
14:38They are owned by the richest men in the world.
14:41That is the least they can do.
14:44I will ensure every Texas child has quality health care.
14:52We are a wealthy state.
14:54We have enough to take care of our kids, make sure that they get the health care they need.
14:58We will when I'm governor.
15:05And for those of us with health insurance, we pay more and more and more and it's harder and harder
15:12and harder to see the doctors we need, get the medication we need, the procedures we need.
15:16I will ban those bad faith denials in the state of Texas and rein in the insurance companies.
15:25Because listen, we're not asking for handouts.
