00:09It was a 72-hour, 15-state operation targeting illegal aliens with unauthorized CDLs
00:16and public safety threats in the trucking industry.
00:19Now, we've all sat here and talked multiple times about the danger that we have
00:26when you have states like California and New York that issue CDLs to individuals that are not qualified to drive.
00:35I don't know why it's even controversial to be having this conversation.
00:38I don't know why this is something that we have to continue to do.
00:41It should be really simple for these states to be able to revoke these driver's licenses that they issued
00:47and tens of thousands of them.
00:49The other trucking companies out there that want to do everything they can to create disruption in the industry,
00:55hire illegals, run down the rates of actual legal drivers.
01:01They don't actually pay the insurance.
01:03You take them off the road, they simply change the DOT number on the side of their truck,
01:07change the names, and they're back on the road the next day.
01:11They absolutely wreak havoc on actually companies that are doing it right.
01:19And what we're trying to do through the Department of Homeland Security
01:22are partners with state, local officials,
01:26is we're trying to restore law and order again.
01:29We're trying to take these unsafe drivers off the road.
01:32We're going to actually wear any of these prop complaints!
