00:00It's great to work on a show where everybody gets along.
00:03Jeanette is like the sweetest.
00:04Welcome to Miss Mojo!
00:05And today we're counting down our picks for the biggest real-life feuds between Nickelodeon stars,
00:10including actors and those behind the scenes.
00:13We'll be exploring permanent tears and brief fallouts that sparked lots of drama.
00:18So, I mean, what do you think about that, dude, seriously?
00:20I just really hope she makes better decisions in her future.
00:25Number 10. Amanda Bynes and Gabriel Iglesias
00:28Long before he was lighting up national venues with his stand-up,
00:32Iglesias was finding his comedy feet on the beloved kid sketch show All That.
00:37Joining the cast in season 6, he was the oldest cast member.
00:41For me, All That was, uh, it was my first time being exposed to Hollywood and TV and stuff like
00:46that.
00:47And it was a good time until it wasn't.
00:50Yet he was quickly humbled by one of the youngest, Bynes.
00:53As detailed in a 2014 interview with Complex,
00:56Iglesias, after mentioning multiple people who were, quote,
01:00super cool, stated that Bynes pulled him aside and uttered, quote,
01:04you don't know how to be funny.
01:06Ouch.
01:06They're always hanging out.
01:07Everyone's very social.
01:09Uh, I don't remember that when I was on, uh, on Nickelodeon many years ago.
01:13Straight away, he realized he wouldn't be chatting to her anymore.
01:17In the same interview, the fluffy comedian also praised his critic,
01:20remarking that Bynes worked really hard, was a leader, and never had time to be a normal kid.
01:26I think, uh, you know, you need to have some, some me time.
01:29And, and, you know, I mean, there's a reason why she was as good as she was,
01:32but there's also a reason why, you know, again, it's a sacrifice.
01:36Number 9. Alexa Nicholas and Victoria Justice
01:38If you wanted a Nickelodeon show that caused the most backstage drama
01:42and involved multiple people, then Zoey 101 is for you.
01:46From the start, Nicholas played Nicole Bristow.
01:49In the second season, Justice joined the cast as Lola Martinez.
01:53In recent years, Nicholas has spoken publicly about her experience on the show,
01:57and it's not fun.
01:59What was, what was that about, what was that like?
02:03The first couple times, it was great, but, um, we had some miscommunication.
02:09She stated that to begin with, she and Justice were good.
02:13Yet after the two talked about a boy, everything changed.
02:16All I wanted to do was, like, be friends with everybody,
02:18but then it would, it just grew into a whole other realm.
02:24The following day, Nicholas noticed that Justice had turned on her
02:27and had gotten close to other members of the cast who also gave her issues.
02:31Stay tuned for more.
02:32From there, Nicholas felt ostracized from the show,
02:36eventually leading to her departure.
02:38I was just so bad at that point.
02:39Like, I just wasn't invited to anything,
02:41and I was totally an outcast,
02:44and I just got, you know, as a child,
02:47that just, like, you're just so sad at that point.
02:49Number eight, Katrina Johnson and Amanda Bynes.
02:53Joining the cast of All That from the start,
02:55Johnson was the youngest amongst them.
02:57Yet by season three, Bynes signed up,
03:00replacing Johnson as the youngest.
03:01No one likes experiencing an existential crisis of someone younger
03:05taking up what you see as your spot.
03:08Yet it's particularly bad when you're still a kid.
03:10She'd brush my teeth with a fish stick!
03:17Oh, don't try that with me, kid.
03:20I'm a professional.
03:21During a 2014 interview with Complex,
03:24Johnson mentioned that she found Bynes, quote,
03:26really annoying.
03:28She then alluded that it must have been
03:30what the others felt about her.
03:31Johnson would later go into further detail
03:33during an interview with Tim Shantarangsu in 2024.
03:37I was jealous about that
03:39because I thought that was going to be me.
03:40I thought that was mine.
03:41I wrote some of those things.
03:43I wrote, and because I was under contract
03:46with Nickelodeon at the time,
03:47they owned that material.
03:49Johnson clarified that while she did have beef against Bynes,
03:53it was one way,
03:54as Johnson was jealous of her for essentially replacing her.
03:58I used to.
03:59Really?
03:59But it was a one-way beef, right?
04:02It was one way.
04:03Like, I had the beef,
04:05and she didn't even know it existed.
04:07With this thrilling trip down memory lane,
04:09you might need even more nostalgic pop culture content.
04:12And we have the perfect place for it,
04:14the Miss Mojo 24-7 livestream.
04:16All you've got to do is scan the QR code on screens
04:19and be whisked away to non-stop pop culture fun.
04:22No, I ain't play.
04:23Nuh-uh.
04:27Waaaaa!
04:28Number 7.
04:30John Crickfalusi and Billy West.
04:32If you're like us,
04:33you may still not believe that the Ren and Stimpy show
04:36was a Nickelodeon property.
04:38Yet, despite its more adult-appealing appearance,
04:40it was.
04:41They're full of glue!
04:48I'm so glad you like them, Ren.
04:50Wait here.
04:51I'll go get the Stay Put Hat and Rain Coat.
04:53In 1992, Crickfalusi, who created the show and voiced Ren,
04:57was fired from Nickelodeon after multiple issues.
05:01And from here,
05:01the fallout between Crickfalusi and West,
05:04who voiced Stimpy and took over as Ren, began.
05:06The most entertaining incident was Billy on Conan O'Brien.
05:11Right.
05:12Describing how he created Ren and Stimpy.
05:13I thought that was pretty good.
05:14Oh!
05:15Oh!
05:16Yeah.
05:16I never did that.
05:18In 1995, West was blindsided on the Howard Stern show,
05:21where he was a regular team member.
05:24Stern had tried to bring Crickfalusi in as a surprise guest.
05:27However, the duo accidentally met in the bathroom beforehand.
05:31So you met him in the bathroom?
05:33Uh-huh.
05:34So what happened?
05:35What was Billy's reaction when he saw you?
05:36I think it was pretty cold.
05:37He just turned around and kind of went...
05:39The episode didn't go well,
05:41as they showed animosity throughout.
05:43To make it worse,
05:44West had only just returned after his brother's funeral.
05:47You know, and he goes,
05:48Good, how the hell are you?
05:49And he came in there to, like,
05:51start all kinds of ruckus with me.
05:53But I just sat there,
05:54and I was sad not that he came in.
05:57I was still sad about my brother.
05:58Number 6.
05:59Ariana Grande and Victoria Justice.
06:02Even from the early days of Victorious in 2010,
06:05the rumor mill churned that these two stars had been feuding.
06:08And even after the show ended in 2013,
06:11it hasn't stopped.
06:13No, I mean, there's no feud.
06:14I mean, I just talked about this in Seventeen magazine.
06:17Like, we're not, like, best friends,
06:19but at the end of the day, like, I wish her well,
06:21and she's doing great, and I'm happy for her.
06:23According to fans and reports,
06:25Grande and Justice have been taking veiled shots at each other
06:27on social media and in interviews.
06:30They also used Grande's 2018 music video for Thank You Next,
06:33which acted like a reunion of multiple Victorious colleagues
06:36as evidence since Justice wasn't involved.
06:39However, the duo has shut down the allegations of a feud.
06:42And a lot of it really came from, like, the media.
06:45Yeah.
06:46Like, fanning those flames,
06:48and then just people online, like, fanning those flames
06:51and making it this huge, crazy thing.
06:52Justice appeared on the Meredith Vieira show in 2015
06:55to dismiss the allegations,
06:57but did admit that she and Grande had their differences.
07:01Sure, we have had, like, our differences,
07:03but at the end of the day, like,
07:04everyone in the cast of Victorious was a family,
07:06and I love and respect all of them
07:07and wish all of them well, no matter what.
07:09Number 5.
07:10Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell
07:12Laurel and Hardy, Abbott and Costello,
07:15Morecombe and Wise.
07:16The comedy world is filled with amazing double acts,
07:19and it looked like we had another
07:20with Thompson and Mitchell starring in Kenan and Kel.
07:23The screw!
07:24The offense press!
07:25Hey!
07:27We the jury award Kenan and Kel
07:2910 million dollars!
07:31Ha ha ha!
07:32What's up, what's up?
07:33Yet, before they could reach the glittering heights as a team,
07:36they went their separate ways.
07:38Following their reunion for 2023's Good Burger 2,
07:41Thompson admitted they had a falling out.
07:43However, he claimed that neither could remember
07:46what caused the split.
07:47Instead, their focus on their individual careers
07:50was a reason for their fallout.
07:52When I talk about the isolation
07:54and when I talk about work,
07:56see, when people watch us on television,
07:58they're thinking, like,
07:59oh, this is brothers.
08:00You know what I mean?
08:01They hang out all the time,
08:01but this is a job.
08:03He also stated he regretted losing out
08:05on so much time with Mitchell.
08:07During a 2024 interview with Shannon Sharp,
08:10Mitchell mentioned that one factor
08:12was his struggles with his personal life,
08:14which contributed to the rift.
08:15Kenan was going through his own process as well
08:17and things that he was going through,
08:19but we both weren't sharing.
08:20Right.
08:20And this is what I talk about with relationship
08:23and letting people know what's on your heart.
08:25Number four, Jeanette McCurdy and Ariana Grande.
08:29Like a super show,
08:30McCurdy's Sam from iCarly
08:32and Grande's Cat from Victorious
08:33were plucked and put together
08:35for Sam and Cat in 2013.
08:37We gotta get out of here!
08:39I can't!
08:40I'm gonna faint!
08:41Yet, rather than going on a legendary run,
08:44it ended after only one season.
08:46Reports emerged that the two stars had been feuding.
08:49However, McCurdy dismissed them in 2015,
08:53saying that while they, quote,
08:54butted heads at times,
08:55it was, quote,
08:56in a very sisterly way.
08:58Well, that changed when she released her 2022 memoir,
09:01I'm Glad My Mom Died.
09:03Uh, are you expecting to hear from her?
09:05I don't know.
09:06I don't know if she'll read the book or not,
09:08but I think it's a really entertaining read,
09:10regardless of who you are.
09:12McCurdy wrote that the producers showed favoritism
09:15towards Grande by allowing her to skip shows for her music,
09:18causing McCurdy to act with the box.
09:20Yet, she wasn't allowed to explore other opportunities.
09:24This caused McCurdy to be jealous of and angry with Grande.
09:27I was jealous specifically that she played charades with Tom Hanks.
09:30That's what got me.
09:31Charades with Tom Hanks!
09:33How dare she?
09:33I know!
09:34But I was so young at the time,
09:37and I think it's really hard to not compare yourself to somebody at that age.
09:41Number three, Jamie Lynn Spears and Alexa Nicholas.
09:44In an ideal world, an actor playing the title role would be an uplifting, positive influence.
09:50Yet, according to Nicholas, Jamie was anything but.
09:53She's alleged multiple times that Jamie tormented her on set.
09:57Why isn't Jamie, why doesn't she like me, you know?
10:00Yeah.
10:00Why won't she sit with me at lunch?
10:03Or why aren't I invited to hang out with her?
10:06Or how come she never reaches out to me or says hello to me?
10:09However, Jamie claimed the opposite, even reportedly getting sister Brittany to scream
10:15at Nicholas to back off.
10:16Yet in 2022, Brittany defended Nicholas and stated her sister had lied.
10:21With all that toxicity and Jamie allegedly creating a group of mean girls,
10:25Nicholas departed the show and refused to be involved in the Zoey 102 film.
10:29Another actor who Nicholas claimed tormented her was Kristen Herrera, who played Dana.
10:34She stated Herrera was dismissed from the show after taking it too far,
10:38including pushing Nicholas into a rock.
10:40Would you like to share that with everyone today, what she told you?
10:45Uh, yeah, she, uh, she basically apologized.
10:49Like, she said she wanted to reach out to you and felt bad.
10:53Um, now that she's a mom, she would never want her kid to go through something like that.
10:57Number two, Drake Bell and Josh Peck.
11:00Despite the Drake and Josh show ending,
11:02we expected the two stars to yell,
11:04hug me, brother, at every opportunity.
11:06Instead, a rift formed.
11:09In 2017, it was dragged into the open when Bell went public,
11:13claiming he wasn't invited to Josh's wedding.
11:15You're, you're talking to your friend and you're, you're congratulating him on,
11:20oh, I'm so glad you're, you know, engaged, congratulate, blah, blah, blah.
11:22And then you see on social media that he had a wedding.
11:25And I go, what?
11:26I didn't hear about it, I didn't know about it.
11:27And so I shot from the hip.
11:28While they seemingly moved on,
11:30Josh spoke in interviews afterwards that they were never close.
11:33Then following Bell's legal and private life issues,
11:372024's Quiet on Set, The Dark Side of Kids TV dropped.
11:41There, he shared the assault he sustained from dialogue coach Brian Peck,
11:45who's not related to Josh.
11:47His entire side of the courtroom was full.
11:55Full.
11:56This admission slowly began to mend fences between the former on-screen stepbrothers.
12:02During an interview on Josh's podcast in 2025,
12:05they spoke more favorably about their past friendship.
12:08I would say there were at times when we hung out a lot and we were close.
12:13And then there were times when,
12:16not for any reason,
12:18but just like,
12:20weren't.
12:20Number one,
12:22Dan Schneider and everyone.
12:24For over two decades,
12:25Schneider was one of the most powerful producers in TV with his work at Nickelodeon.
12:30Yet behind the scenes,
12:31he was allegedly very different,
12:34contributing to his dismissal in 2018.
12:36Thinking about it now,
12:39yeah,
12:40it's like,
12:40oh boy,
12:41I just think of that poor girl and what she had to,
12:45you know,
12:46go through.
12:47Over the years,
12:48several Nickelodeon stars,
12:49including production staff,
12:51have gone public with allegations against Schneider.
12:54Yet once Quiet on Set was released,
12:56the floodgates opened.
12:58Several of those involved in the docuseries and those who didn't take part,
13:02spoke about Schneider fostering a toxic environment,
13:05making inappropriate content and misconduct allegations about,
13:08him.
13:09So my lawyer filed complaints against the production company for gender discrimination.
13:16Lori Beth Denberg detailed being harassed by him,
13:18and Nicholas stated Schneider pressured her to wear more revealing clothing.
13:23Schneider denied the abuse allegations and issued a lawsuit against the Quiet on Set for defamation.
13:28Well,
13:28a former Nickelodeon producer is speaking out after accusations of inappropriate and abusive behavior
13:34surfaced in a new docuseries.
13:36Which TV network has created the most amount of real-life drama as cast and crew have feuded?
