Roadside brush fires can erupt unexpectedly and spread rapidly, posing immediate hazards to passing traffic and surrounding infrastructure.
The clip, shared by Kazu, captures an alarming scene along a US parkway as an intense fire sweeps through the grassy vegetation running directly alongside the roadway.
Thick smoke billows into the sky as roaring flames consume the dry brush, scorching the landscape and leaving visible damage along the highway corridor.
Kazu told WooGlobe, "This was either a poorly executed controlled burn, or someone accidentally or intentionally started these fires."
Drivers pass by the burning median as the blaze creeps closer to the pavement.
