00:09There I was, slipping through my magazines, saw the Dior gold eye campaign. I want it in my life.
00:14I'm going to try it out for holiday season, so today I'm double daring myself gold eye makeup.
00:19So at Dior, the gold eyebrow was super dramatic and heavy. I think for every day what I'd love
00:26to do is show you how to pull it back a little bit and bring some blonde into it to
00:30really
00:30show those beautiful eyes that you have. So I'm starting with a gold cream. So what I'm
00:36doing now is taking the gold cream on a palette and then brushing it right through the brow
00:42on a spoolie brush. The brow is really simple because the eye is very dramatic, so we want
00:47the brow to be soft. So I'm taking the same gold cream from my palette and just bringing it right
00:52onto the lid. So I'm shearing the gold onto the lid from crease to lash and then just exaggerating
00:59the shape a bit. The next step is to take in a gold eyeshadow and I'm starting that again in
01:05the
01:05center of the lid and working it towards the outer corner and then up into the crease and just
01:11following the natural shape of your eye. And to finish, I'm taking the same gold shadow and I'm
01:17just bringing it right along the bottom lash line and connecting it to the line that I drew out at
01:22the
01:22top. So we're really just framing the eye with gold the way they did in the Dior show, but we're
01:29keeping
01:29it much softer and more wearable for real life. Let me just finish up the other side and then I'll

01:59tried to keep the integrity of the Dior look by bringing out the same shape with the gold, but we
02:04made it more
02:04wearable by combining a yellow gold and an amber gold from crease to lash and taking an angular shape.
02:10And then we brushed a little bit of that gilded gold through to give you a look that works for
02:15holiday season right through the new year. And I love that I know what a spoolie brush is and it
02:20felt
