Get the perfect flush!
Transcript
00:09I've been wearing blush my entire life but I'm not sure that I'm doing it the
00:12right way so I'm hoping that James can teach me how to apply it correctly today.
00:15One of the things that you probably deal with like a lot of olive skin women or a
00:19lot of Latino women is choosing the right color and putting it in the right
00:23place and that's what I want to show you today. Okay. Good. With taupe blush we
00:28really want to think of it like the shade of a tree. We're gonna bring that
00:31right into the cheekbone but we're popping it up so it actually provides a
00:36natural shadow instead of a hard 80s blush line. We don't want to use blush on the
00:41actual cheekbone when it's in a brown shade because what that will do is just
00:45start to take away and dull out your own beautiful skin color. Next I'm going to
00:50take a soft peach on a soft brush and I'm literally just shearing it at the higher
00:56point of the cheekbone. For darker skinned women going with a bright bold orange is a
01:00great choice. Shearing on a bold bright color is an amazing way to lift the skin
01:07and just have everyone think you've just come back from vacation. Now let's talk
01:12about pink. If you choose the correct shade of bright pink and you use a very
01:17soft brush and you flush that only onto the apple of the cheek it will give you the
01:21look like you've just exercised or had a glass of wine. Last step bronzer. The
01:26trick with bronzer is to find something that combines both the golden and the
01:30bronze shades and I'm applying it only to the highest point of the cheekbone and
01:35that's gonna give us a beautiful lift and contour and it just gives life to the
01:41skin. I want you to take a look and tell me what you really think. Wow I love it. I
01:47think this is a great look for evening or a great flush for every day. It just brings
01:52life to any makeup look. Thank you. Thank you babe.
