00:00Hi, I'm Jonathan Van Ness with Refinery29, and these are some gorgeous travel tips.
00:05Best travel experience is anything that involves turquoise water.
00:08Worst travel experience is anything that gets involved with, like, being late or stuck on a tarmac.
00:12Like, at all. For any amount of time.
00:15I go zero to gay as hell, mad as eff, like this.
00:19Best travel snacks are weed gummy bears.
00:23Non-beauty-related things I carry in my travel bag.
00:26Headphones. A headphone charger.
00:29A gigantic can of mace.
00:32I'm just kidding. I don't have mace. I'm totally just kidding.
00:34But, you know, gotta keep you on your toes. Like, maybe I do. Like, you don't know.
00:37Advice for someone who's traveling for their first time with your significant other.
00:41It's kind of like going to see a play, and, like, you don't want to go see the backstage of
00:45the play.
00:45So make sure you have your gorgeous mints with you, because you don't want someone to smell what your breath
00:49actually smells like.
00:50Make sure you have your floss with you, honey.
00:52Maybe, like, don't go ham on eating so, so much.
00:55Like, right before the flight. You know, because it's like, you don't want to be going to the bathroom like
00:5910,000 times in front of, you know, trying to be, like, elusive.
01:02Like, I never go to the bathroom. What do you mean?
01:05You know what I mean?
01:06Travel hacks for all of you queens.
01:09That whole thing about, like, militarily, like, rolling your stuff into little, like, when you roll it and pack it,
01:14that, it literally works.
01:15Like, I used to think that was a wives' tale, and I was like, no, queen, let me just put
01:18all this, you know, fold it up real flat and, like, vacuum seal her out.
01:21But that's not true. That rolling is a full-on thing.
01:23Like, roll it up. It's a total space saver.
01:25For me, my favorite travel companion from Queer Eye is myself, and then it's a four-way tie for second
01:32between Bobby Cromo, Tan, and Antony in no particular order.
01:36You know, as long as they're, like, in their soundless booth of Miss Universe, you know, and they didn't hear
01:39me say that, like, it's a four-way tie.
01:42Do I eat airplane food? Great question.
01:45It depends on how desperate I am to eat.
01:48You know what I mean? It also depends on, like, who I'm going to see.
01:51You know? It just, it depends on what, on what my truth is.
01:57The last thing I watched on a plane was The Haunting of Hill House, which is so scary, but I
02:03have to say,
02:04that ending made me want to take my face and connect it to my tray table angrily.
02:12Like, how dare you spell out the point of your show that hardcore?
02:15Like, my brain works. It lives between my ears.
02:19And if your reading level is above second grade, I did not need you to spell that out for me
02:25that hard, okay?
02:26Haunting of Hill House.
02:27And if I meet you, showrunner, like, at a party, it's fine. I'd say it to your face.
02:31The first thing I do when I get into a hotel room is I make sure that the front desk
02:35is cleared out, like, the mini bar of food,
02:37because, like, I cannot be trusted.
02:39Like, I'll wake up with, like, wrappers all over me. I freak out.
02:42Then the next thing I do is I get on my gorgeoushotels.com app, and I just am, like,
02:46how many more nights until my 11th night free?
02:48Because, like, after 10 nights, you get your 11th night free, which is so fun.
02:51I hate to be basic, but I love free stuff.
02:55Puppy time?
02:56Puppy time.
02:57Does that happen here?
02:58Come here, puppers.
03:01Hi.
03:03Hi.
03:04Hi.
03:05Hi.
03:05Oh, my God.
03:06Oh, my God.
03:07Hi.
03:09Hey.
03:10Hey, little puppers.
