The Melaka state election saw 189 nomination forms sold as of last night, with 45 prospective candidates having paid their deposits, according to Election Commission (EC) chairman Datuk Seri Ramlan Harun.

00:00Election Commission Chairman Datuk Siri Ramlan Harun said the Melaka election saw 189 nomination forms sold as of Thursday night.
00:08He said some of them had also paid their deposits for their nomination as candidates for the election to be
00:13held on November 14th.
00:53Ramlan said 28 nomination centres will open simultaneously across Melaka from 9am,
00:59to 10am on Saturday for the nomination process.
01:03Earlier he visited the Hangjabad Stadium nomination centre to check out a simulation for the nomination process.
01:10Early voting will take place November 10th and polling day will be November 14th.
