00:01Inside this old electrical substation, Circus WA is bouncing back.
00:07An improvement of large scale after operating from a tent for nine years.
00:14I call circus artists the space eaters.
00:17They need volume for their bodies to fly, for their juggling, for trampoline, for aerials as you can see.
00:25While the valued space came at a price for the not-for-profit organisation, it's led to an increase in
00:31attendance.
00:32And we have taken on a $2 million debt.
00:35But we could not survive and could not grow if we did not have that debt.
00:38Helping circus lovers...
00:40Push with your head.
00:40Including those from this All Abilities class to flourish.
00:44Why do you like it so much here?
00:47Because it's full of energy here.
00:49My favourite trick the whole time from circus, it could be my tumbling and my cartwheels.
00:56And I love spinning so fast.
01:00Yeah!
01:01Good cut.
01:02What do you reckon? Should I do my kangaroo?
01:04Yeah!
01:05If we can get them away from a phone, and staring at a phone, and actually doing something physical,
01:09and then watching them learn those tricks, you know, and then go,
01:12okay, well I've done that, now I can do this, and now I can do this.
01:15And to see that gradual build-up of the most confidence kids you'll ever see.
01:19A space for all circus artists to thrive...
01:22Got it!
01:23...and reach their highest potential.
01:26Now stand up!
01:26On the legs!
01:27Pos
01:28You
