00:00It's like right now, yeah, hair is laid, edges laid, makeup done, in the house, stocking caps,
00:06edges ain't brushed, no lip gloss, no brow. It just, it is what it is.
00:16I mean, it feels good. I mean, especially just a month and a year period. You know,
00:19I had junior when I was 25, so I had to grow fast. But I think even being in the
00:24industry
00:24at 15, I had to grow up very fast. I had to learn very fast. I had to get even
00:30more smarter,
00:31you know what I'm saying? Very fast to make sure nobody was trying to get over on me, you know?
00:36So I think that I had a feeling like something like this would happen because I'm already like
00:41an auntie anyway. We want to inspire, you know, young love. We want to inspire all love, honestly,
00:49but that young love, that young chocolate love where, you know, like everything is not always
00:56a whole bunch of drama, you know what I'm saying? Like, yeah, we're not perfect, but everything is
01:00not always drama. Everything is not always just childish things. Like we're really going through
01:04real stuff. And honestly, when you're balancing marriage and parenthood and careers, like you
01:13got to do what you got to do, period. All you can do is focus on you. And like my
01:22mom always tell me,
01:23no, it's no such thing as a perfect parent. There's no such thing as the perfect person, period.
01:28You know what I'm saying? So I feel like, yes, be a boss, be a mom, be a wife. Find
01:34that balance
01:34and do what feels best for you because every day you're striving to be a better you. You should always
01:40be working toward being a better you regardless. So day by day, it'll only get better and better
01:47until you find that perfect balance for you. But until then, nobody else's opinions should matter
01:51because there's people with no kids that's telling you what you should be doing as a mother. That's
01:56what it be. Because all the real mothers, like all the mothers know, it's never a mother that's
02:01judging anything. Even if it's a mother that got three kids and ain't got no nanny, I'm sure you
02:06probably have three kids and you can do that because you probably don't have a job. You know what I'm
02:10going to fix your mouth to tell the next mother what she should be doing.
02:17What I hope that she really takes from me is just wanting to be a successful businesswoman
02:23and not focus on one thing. You know, it will drive you crazy if you focus on one thing and
02:29it's not happening at the time that you want it to happen. You know, I also want to be an
02:33example for her that is like, look at all the years that it took for me to actually get
02:37my just do. So to teach her patience and to, you know, for her to know that you're not
02:45perfect, you know, but that you're always working toward, like I said, being a better you.
02:53When you're at home, no, you don't have to be glam 24-7 in front of the man of your
02:58dreams,
02:59you know, in front of your husband, your boyfriend, you know, your companion, period. You know, you see that when
03:04you step up.
03:04You know, she just see with me is two completely different worlds. And she gets to see different.
03:08She still see the love that comes from my husband and how much he loved me, whether I am a
03:13walking filter or I'm at home and I'm completely filterless, you know. So I think overall just teaching
03:19her balance. Everything is about balance. Balance is key.
03:24We'll keep it free.
03:25All right.
03:25All right.
