00:00I know I dropped the ball, but I did finish it.
00:03Oh, Amanda, you did your job, yay, and just under the wire.
00:08I thought it was late.
00:09It is.
00:10The only reason you might have a shot at this is because angel life never got their shit together.
00:14Oh my god, that's great.
00:16No, it's not great.
00:17And I said might.
00:18You need to be doing this for the right reasons.
00:20The work is the prize.
00:22Sure, thank you.
00:25So why are you doing this work?
00:27What are you trying to figure out here?
00:29Well, I guess to prove to myself and to everyone that I have something to say.
00:36Hey, Steph.
00:36I'm gonna tell you the most liberating thing you're ever gonna hear in your life.
00:41No one is thinking of you.
00:44Which should be a relief.
00:46Because it is your life.
00:48Do whatever the fuck you want.
00:50Stop thinking.
00:51You know, enjoy a moment.
00:53Have real reactions to things.
00:55Look at a tree.
00:58Why a tree?
01:00Never mind.
01:01Mm-hmm.
01:02You'll figure it out.
01:03Keep going.
01:04Okay.
01:06Oh, this is why I should never talk to anyone under 35.
01:20Are you feeling low today?
01:22Is it obvious?
01:24Only a little bit.
01:25Something only I could tell.
01:27Come here.
01:28Come on.
01:29Bring it in.
01:30Yeah.
01:31You okay?
01:32No.
01:33Okay.
01:34You know, you need someone who's gonna bring more positivity in your life.
01:38Like someone a little bit more like me.
01:40Speaking of, do you remember Colin Kim?
01:43Colin Kim.
01:45I had such a crush on him.
01:47He used to always order extra fries in the dining hall because he knew I'd want them,
01:52but I never ordered them.
01:54Uh-huh.
01:54And then I would eat them.
01:55Uh-huh.
01:56That's so sweet.
01:59He moved to L.A.?
02:01He did.
02:01And tonight the three of us are hanging out.
02:03Actually, I'm not hanging out with you guys because I'm gonna bail out the last minute,
02:06but the two of you will be alone together.
02:08What about all the talk of not devoting myself to a man and speaking my power?
02:13Yeah, I'm not saying marry the guy.
02:15I'm just saying, like, hook up with him.
02:16Have some fun.
02:17Get your groove back.
02:18I'm sad.
02:20Look alive.
02:25Yeah, Lyric is pretty ridiculous.
02:27I think she wants us to hook up or something.
02:30Well, we could try, but I'd have to pretend you were Chris Pratt the whole time.
02:34You are gay.
02:36Oh my god, that explains so much.
02:39That's the best rejection I've ever had.
02:41Come on.
02:42I bet you do just fine.
02:44Yeah.
02:44I did.
02:46I had a great boyfriend.
02:48Had.
02:50He was cute.
02:52Supportive.
02:53He told me he loved me.
02:55I didn't say it back.
02:57Things got busy at work and it got tense.
03:00And I didn't talk to him about it.
03:03And I just kept on pushing him away until he left.
03:08And I let him.
03:11Well, you know, everyone does that.
03:12I mean, do you think Oprah built an empire off of people not being self-destructive?
03:17Hm.
03:19How embarrassingly un-unique of me.
03:21It's relationships.
03:22I mean, it's all about people inconveniencing each other, accepting apologies, and then hooking
03:26up with the same person you like getting tacos with.
03:30What should I do?
03:31Well, I am tired of playing the wise gay bestie.
03:35Figure it out.
03:36Yeah.
04:05Now I'm going to get some good whiny subscribers.
04:09Hey, man-dog.
04:10These are ready to be filed.
04:12Okay.
04:13Is this a thing Kathy had you working on?
04:14No, it's just me working out my own shit.
04:16Ah, another journal entry.
04:18Gotta suck your own dick, Frayden.
04:19Well, can't say I haven't tried.
04:21Well, I bet you have.
04:30No.
04:32No, leave me alone.
04:34Oh, shit.
04:36Oh, shit.
04:38Shh.
04:40Mm.
04:42Kathy, hi.
04:43What's happening?
04:44Did I wake you?
04:45No, I was just going for a quick jog around the block.
04:49Okay, how come I have to go onto Brayden's Facebook page to see your best work?
04:53What?
04:53No, no, no, Kathy, this is Amanda.
04:55You called Amanda, not Brayden.
04:57Yeah, I know, dummy.
04:59Your comic went viral.
05:01Lots of clicks or whatever.
05:02It's done wonders for our angel-like deal.
05:05Wait, my cartoon got a lot of clicks?
05:08Yes, clicks, chairs, smiley faces, whatever.
05:12Oh, that's horrifying.
05:13Yeah, most people hate success.
05:16Listen, I am proud of you and of me for inspiring you to be so good.
05:21You know, there's going to be a lot of people knocking at your door.
05:26Oh, uh, Kathy, I gotta go.
05:31I don't know what's happening, but thank you so much.
05:34Thank you for...
05:40Hi.
05:42Lyric sent me your comic.
05:44She also admitted to blocking my number in your phone, which explains the last couple
05:48of weeks.
05:49I'm so glad you're here.
05:51Can I, uh...
05:52Yeah, yeah, of course.
05:54I'm sorry I shouldn't show up out of the blue.
05:56It's just...
05:56I'm sorry!
05:57What?
05:58I'm sorry.
05:58I'm sorry.
05:59Um, I just let me...
06:00Let me own my shit, okay?
06:02I'm sorry.
06:04I was shitty.
06:07I got scared, so I was shitty to you.
06:10And I will probably be shitty again.
06:12You will be shitty sometimes, too.
06:15And we both will be shitty in new and different ways.
06:19And I really thought I had a place to go with this...
06:23I think our shittiness is pretty compatible.
06:27Yeah.
06:29Agreed.
06:32You want to go back to my place and wake up tomorrow, have some cereal?
06:37Yeah.
06:38Yeah.
06:48What?
06:50It's a treat.
06:52Cool.
06:54I love you.
06:56I love you.
06:57I love you.
