00:02I feel like we never created music for people to listen to. We created music for
00:07us to feel better about what it was that we were going through at that moment.
00:12And it's very touching to know that people can relate to it, but the purpose
00:19of it in the beginning was just to cope.
00:33We're from Montreal both, both from Montreal. It gets really cold. I write a lot during
00:39the winter because you're kind of stuck in your house and there's not much light and
00:43you kind of get depressed because you need light and you need warmth. We talk a lot about
00:48love stories that ended really bad or love stories that never happened. So for that, Montreal
00:55is great. It's very inspiring in the winter.
01:07That one works. Where to go? 13 left to go.
01:11Usually we start from a simple idea. Like let's say sometimes there's just like a feeling that
01:17we want to work with. We just write down a bunch of words that we want to use or that
01:23we want to build a whole universe around the song and like make it something that exists.
01:27The more we do it, the more we don't even have to talk anymore to plan how we're going
01:34to do it, it just happens. We're two friends making music together and obviously it's going
01:55to have a female point of view because that's the point of view that we have so I think it's
01:59easy to relate to for other girls and women.
02:02You'll never say you like me. I'll never be your friend.
02:14I'll never say you like me. I'll never say you like me. I'll never say you like me.
02:20I'll never say you like me. I'll never say you like me. I'll never say you like me.
02:24Hello girls. I'm Will. I'm just going to move to Toronto. I'm going to show you a good
02:28route. We'll be right back to the room. I think we'll have a whole show tonight.
02:31See you later. Bye bye.
02:41That's how we leave the stage.
02:43When I listened to the first demos, I really felt that the bass of the songs were really
02:50strong, really deep and you could see the mark of the girls in their music. And when
02:55the new elements of the songs were added, I could see really the atmosphere and the vibe
03:00the girls were going to put on it. It was really impressive for us. And on a human standpoint,
03:05they're just so fun to be around. And I feel like we have a small family working together.
03:12I'm ready when you're ready.
03:26It's a weird thing to think. You write a song because you feel something, but then everybody
03:33hears it. And then you sing it live in front of many people and it's so personal. We never
03:39thought the band would work that well. So mostly we're very, very grateful of where we are
03:46right now.
03:47It feels so good to be able to not only say it out loud, but say it out loud to
03:55people
03:55who don't know us and to say it out loud to like broad audiences. If people don't connect
04:01to it, it was still important for us to write that song. The creative process is also a way
04:05to deal with what's going on. So that's where every song comes from, I think.
04:10We'll see you next time.
04:10Bye.
