00:15major comeback. What is it about those pretty pastels that have you so afraid? I think they
00:21just take me back to middle school when I would just put different shades of pastels all over
00:26my face and think it looked great and I think they just kind of wash me out and it's not
00:30that
00:30flattering. Well I'll tell you I think they're flattering for women of all skin tones but
00:35those pretty pastels really kind of bring you back to those teen years of Bonnie Bell. Why don't I
00:40show you a trick that you can use to make pastel wearable for everything. Great. So I'm starting
00:45with a lip pencil but I'm not using a dark or deep pencil I'm using a concealer shade and I'm
00:50just
00:50using it at the outer edge of your lip to give some definition. Our next step is to choose our
00:56shade. So I'm starting with a lip color that is a pinker shade close to your natural lip color
01:04and I'm applying it with a lip brush and the trick is to use the brush the same way you
01:09would use liner
01:09so I'm turning it on its side and I'm using that to get my edge and my definition and then
01:15I'm using
01:15the flat of the brush right along the lip. But with the peach color I'm just going to keep it
01:22focused
01:22in the center of the lip and that combination of the peach and the pink color will keep that mod
01:28look
01:29looking a little more wearable. My last trick to get a bit of a wow take that same lip color
01:35and
01:35you're just going to add it right into the apple of the cheek and adding that lip color onto the
01:40apple
01:40of the cheek will keep the lip from looking like it's jumping off the face. So take a look let

01:52sexy fashion look to it. If you want to keep it from looking too retro one of the other things
01:58that
01:58you can do is bring in a bit of bronzer. So I'm just using one of the NARS multiples that
02:05has a very
02:05peachy shade to it and I'm literally sculpting it in with my finger and that touch of peach on the
02:12cheek will make that pastel lip look wearable for any and every skin tone. Thank you so much I love
