If there is anything in this world that connects us together, it is all of our shared experiences for embarrassing stories. Refinery29's Lucie Fink and Michael Brown have had their fair share of mortifying moments. In this episode of Storytime, both Lucie and Michael described their most shameful high school moment. 00:13heard before. Thumbs up if you like us. Thumbs up if you don't. It makes us feel
00:18good to get thumbs up. What does it make you feel? How much? We tell stories but we
00:24also put story ideas from you guys into this jar. So comment below letting us
00:29know what stories you want us to tell. And we've got a bunch in here that we'll
00:32pick out for today. Can I do it? Can I have the honors now that I'm already hands deep?
00:38Oh I'm scared. Oh this should be good! Most embarrassing moment. Wait. I don't want, okay.
00:45How do we, who can blow a bubble with our spit? That's disgusting, no. Okay give me a second.
00:55Alec popped out! What the, how about, you guess what number I'm thinking of. Okay. And then I'll
01:02guess what number you're thinking of. I'm thinking of another. How do I know you're not gonna lie?
01:05I, okay. She looks me right in the eye. What number am I thinking of? Seven. No. Three. You freaking
01:14got it!
01:15Alright, he won. Fair and square. Time for me to tell my most embarrassing story. Let me take you back
01:20to a place called High School Drama Club.
01:24Oh god. Well I love the drama club so uh, can it. I was also in drama. I figured. Were
01:30you ever in The Crucible?
01:31So I was in The Crucible. I was playing the part of a little bit of a promiscuous villager.
01:37You were just playing yourself. High School Drama Club, Broadway, what's the difference? Chicken Cutlets. Do you know what those
01:43are?
01:43Yes, I do. You know, in your bra to kind of give you the cleavage that you don't have. Very
01:48flat.
01:49Okay, so it was a part in the show where the lights go out and my character runs off stage.
01:54Quick costume change.
01:55Quick change. I'm talking ten seconds. So, lights go out. Book it off stage. Put my arms up. Quick costume
02:04change.
02:05I'm changing. I'm changing. The lights are about to go back on. I reach in and I go, oh my
02:10god. I'm missing my left chicken cutlet.
02:13Lights on stage. On. There is my chicken cutlet. Boob down. All suction cupped to the stage. Like, how do
02:22you feel about that?
02:22Your boob. I know. Gotta keep track of them. Yeah, usually they're just there. Not really there at all. Okay.
02:29Okay, I want to hear about your embarrassing story. Okay, so mine does not paint me on a great light.
02:35Okay. Warning. I was under 21 during this, but it involves alcohol. I didn't drink in high school.
02:41You go, boy! I like this boy and he like kind of liked me, I guess. I was a sophomore.
02:47He was a senior.
02:48Ooh. I know older. He invited me to his birthday party. It was a costume party. So I took this
02:54opportunity to dress a little risque.
02:56As Michael does. I would say there were three components to this costume and that's it.
03:00Let me guess. And none of them involved pants.
03:02Feathers. No. Bralette. Yes. Skirt. Yes.
03:05I was like, I'm going to build up the confidence to talk to him and tonight steal the kiss.
03:11Keep in mind this is like juice and alcohol. Basically, I proceeded to get incredibly drunk where I was on
03:17the floor.
03:17Do you have any pictures? I will show them to you privately.
03:20Um, so the night winds down, he still hasn't spoken to me. I was like- This is sad. This
03:24dude invited you to the party.
03:26Yeah. I'm devastated. And then didn't talk to you. I'm devastated. I'm devastated.
03:29So he'd offered to drive people home. So I was like, I gotta go home. And immediately- Uh oh.
03:35I opened his window and just like- All I remember saying is, I feel so cute right now. I
03:44feel so cute. This girl's like, are you okay?
03:47I was like, listen! I feel really cute right now.
03:50I woke up the next morning with a very neat pile of puke next to my face.
03:56There's a trail of my clothes and accessories from my back door to my room. So clearly I must have
04:01taken them off at some point.
04:03One at a time. One at a time as I was going.
04:06Then I look at my computer, have a Facebook message from that guy.
04:08You left your phone at my house. And also, my car was parked by his house. So you know what
04:12I had to do? I had to walk.
04:13I walked three miles. I get to my car. Immediately it starts raining. So I get in my car and
04:18I just sit there.
04:18This is a saga. I'm just saying this is a tale for the ages. It is. Continue.
04:22I'm too nervous to go up because I'm embarrassed. I sit there for an hour. It stops raining. I get
04:27- I get out of my car.
04:28I go to his house. I knock on the door. And he opens it and I see that his roommates
04:32are there.
04:33Everyone's looking at me because they know me now. He hands me my phone. He turns around for a second
04:38because somebody said something.
04:39And when they all look back, I'm gone. I have disappeared. I saw the opportunity and I ran.
04:43And then I never talked to him for like eight months after that. To this day, this is really hard
04:49for me to talk about.
04:50And I'm embarrassed. I'm sorry, but now the whole internet knows.
04:52I actually have to say, Michael, that I think you're a great storyteller. You really just keep me on the
04:57edge.
04:57Like, I'm sitting on the edge of this couch like, what's next?
04:59And what I learned from you is that you can't control your boobs.
