00:00So, Dan, in The Athletic this morning, excellent story posted, and the headline is,
00:05Have Bears Ben Johnson, Caleb Williams, found the key to unlock a new level of explosion?
00:10And in the deep dive, you referred to a couple things they did over the summer in the offseason
00:17to try to unlock a new level of explosion.
00:20One of them was showing Caleb Williams studying video of Aaron Rodgers?
00:27Yeah, not just Caleb Williams, but the entire offense.
00:31And it's, you know, peak Aaron Rodgers in Green Bay was as good as it gets in this league
00:35at extending plays and making you pay, right?
00:38And so we've all lived that in various capacities over the years of watching the Packers be so good
00:44at their first play not working and then Aaron figuring out a way to make something happen.
00:48And so what Ben was doing there with the entire offense was just showing the purpose
00:52that the Packers had on all those plays.
00:54You know, there's a belief in Aaron Rodgers' brain that this could be a dagger.
00:58You know, what we called didn't work, now watch me, okay?
01:01And so that requires a buy-in from everybody involved.
01:04It's the quarterback understanding what his responsibilities are,
01:06but then it's also the pass catchers out in pattern knowing, quote-unquote, the guidelines.
01:12Press Taylor likes to call them guidelines rather than rules because there's feel to this.
01:15And also understanding the stamina involved.
01:17Like, you may be involved in a 10-second play.
01:19You may be involved in a 14-second play.
01:22So you've got to have your brain ready, even if you're the fourth read on the play that was called,
01:26to come alive when that play breaks down, understanding what Caleb's capable of
01:30and be, you know, conditioned and mentally sharp to get to where he needs you to be
01:35and to unlock this new level of offense.
01:37I think Ben, Press, Caleb, everybody involved there feels like this could be a huge,
01:42huge catalyst to passing game production.
01:44And hopefully the first test of it on Sunday in Charlotte comes alive.
