China is showcasing the future of smart agriculture at the 2026 China International Agricultural Machinery Exhibition (CIAME) in Tianjin, where cutting-edge technology and clean energy are transforming farm machinery. Among the highlights is a new-energy-powered corn harvester capable of harvesting around 33 hectares a day, with a 5.5-meter cutting header, approximately 400 horsepower and reported fuel savings of 10 to 20 percent compared with traditional machines.

The exhibition also features a next-generation straw baler designed to remove soil during the baling process, improving straw quality and reducing the need for additional cleaning at power plants. Equipped with advanced sensors and an eight-stage soil-removal system, the machine highlights how automation and intelligent engineering are making agricultural operations more efficient. Discover how China’s latest farming innovations could shape the future of agricultural productivity and cleaner energy use.
