Knightmare is making a comeback in 2027, and this time we're heading into the dungeon ourselves!
The legendary British television show that entertained audiences throughout the late 1980s and early 1990s is being transformed into a brand new point-and-click adventure game.
As someone who grew up watching Knightmare every time it was on, I couldn't be more excited. From the unforgettable theme music to the contestants who didn't always survive their adventures, it was one of my favourite childhood television shows.
And now it's becoming one of my favourite types of games!
In this video, we're taking a look at:
- The upcoming Knightmare point-and-click adventure
- The return of original cast members, including Hugo Myatt as Treguard
- The beautiful hand-drawn artwork and gameplay
- How the game recreates the atmosphere of the original show
- Why its completely FREE release could introduce new players to point-and-click adventures
- What we know about its planned 2027 release
The developers are aiming for an adventure lasting approximately one to two hours, and I'll definitely be playing the complete game on Point & Click CraftD when it releases.
