00:00On the trade front, the U.S. trade front, can you describe what change, if any, there has been in
00:05terms of trade talks with the U.S. over the course of the past week?
00:11I just refer to my earlier comments to the extent any progress has been made. It's because the U.S.
00:16is coming closer to our position.
00:18Canada's ready to sign an agreement that is in the interest of Canadians, all Canadians.
00:25We have very clear bottom lines, red lines, which meant that we were not willing to sign what was offered
00:33in August.
00:37To the extent to which the U.S. is moving towards accepting those aspects, then there's a greater prospect of
00:47a deal.
00:48But we'll judge it, and if there is something, we'll judge it as a whole.
00:51We're working together as First Ministers, federal government, provinces, territories, indigenous peoples to build a stronger, fair, and more inclusive
00:59Canada.
01:01And there is some momentum, and that momentum can build.
01:04In partnership with First Nations, we're working to close gaps in First Nations education, housing, infrastructure, and health care.
01:12And what this table must do, and those tables that we empower, is to ensure that as we continue to
01:19make generational investments,
01:20that we do so as effectively as possible, that they directly and fully benefit the people for whom they are
01:27intended.
01:28Finally, let's see.
01:29Let's see.
