Crafting seasonal decorations by hand brings a satisfying, tactile feel to autumn crafting projects.
The clip, shared by Natassja, demonstrates the step-by-step process of making a small needle-felted pumpkin from raw wool.
She begins by pulling white wool roving from a bag and using a felting needle to compact and shape it into a tight, rounded core.
Bright orange wool roving is then wrapped around the core and firmly needled down to form a solid orange ball.
To create the characteristic segmented look of a pumpkin, she uses her needle to press deep vertical lines into the sides before attaching a small green stem on top.
To finish the piece, she adds a smiling jack-o'-lantern face made of dark wool before displaying the completed craft outdoors resting on a wooden surface and tucked into a tree branch.
