00:00With Me Gymnastics is more than a sport to me.
00:03It's my dream, my passion and the journey that has shaped who I am today.
00:20My name is Azata Atikshiva.
00:22My journey in With Me Gymnastics began in a way I could never have imagined.
00:28When I was little, I was a very weak child.
00:33One day, my doctor suggested that my mother take me towards me to gymnastics
00:39to help me become stronger and improve my physical condition.
00:51He also noticed that I am tall and naturally asleep
00:56and that was how my story began.
01:06Little by little, gymnastics became something more than I enjoyed watching.
01:13It became something I dreamed of doing myself.
01:17I was quite a child, but I was very hardworking.
01:21Gymnastics continues to be an important part of my life.
01:29My first international competition was in Georgia when I was just five years old.
01:39Everything was new to me, but in the end everything went really well.
01:46I was very happy because it was my first international competition in the rhythmic gymnastics.
01:54It was a very special moment for me.
01:57After years of training, hard work and never giving up, I have finally made it.
02:05I began representing my country internationally, traveling abroad, and I loved to hear Azerbaijan national anthem at competitions.
02:17And that was when I realized that I am on the right path.
02:27When I think about a little Azada, I feel very proud of her.
02:37Today, gymnastics is not just a sport for me.
02:40It's part of my life, my childhood, and my dreams.
02:44My biggest dream is to become a strong senior gymnast and make my country proud of me.
