00:13we're gonna leave New York City and you're gonna lose thousands of jobs. When
00:18we passed that bill a year later we found that not only were fast food
00:21workers more safe and protected but that the fast food industry grew. The fact of
00:27the matter is is that the way that we consume goods post pandemic is forever
00:32changed. We're gonna deliver a billion packages this year in the city. That's
00:37three million a day and the entire model hinges on being as close to the
00:41consumer as possible. Jeff Bezos is pocketing billions and billions and
00:45billions of dollars every single year and he's doing it by making workers
00:51incredibly unsafe. He can still afford his yachts and do right by workers and
00:55community members.
