00:00To this day, I actually continue with pain because my collar broken is permanently
00:03broken. When my biological mother would leave because she did work a lot,
00:08he would start locking us up in our bedroom. And there would be days where he would be gone
00:14for eight to 10 hours. Essentially, when he would leave, he would lock us in the room.
00:19And for eight hours, we didn't have food. I would have to use the vent as a toilet
00:22because we weren't allowed to leave the room. And if he noticed that mail had moved,
00:28or if it had been unlocked, we would be forced to either perform acts or we would be abused.
00:35About six years old, when I would suck my thumb, my biological father would put hot sauce
00:41on my thumb and force me to suck on my thumb that way. When I grew up about nine years
00:48old,
00:49one of our siblings finally came forward about this abuse. And that is when DCF got involved.
00:55They removed the half-siblings first, but continued to let my twin sister, and at this time I have a
01:01younger sister, to continue living in the home. They did not remove us all at the same time.
01:07And unfortunately, that also meant that we continued getting abused while the other children were out
01:12of the home.
