00:00Last week I was so excited to announce our community cupboard and post on Facebook to let everyone know.
00:05We received so many comments of support and so many offers of donation from our community, but there was also
00:10this comment.
00:12Now, I've been a member for the last six months and I've received plenty of comments like this.
00:16None from our community, might I add, either bots or people from interstate, but these comments, with this one being
00:23my personal favourite,
00:24are commented on nearly every post that I put up.
00:27Becoming a member of Parliament has been the greatest honour and privilege of my life, but how I look and
00:33what I wear doesn't impact how I advocate for my community.
00:36These things aren't important, but what is important is that you donate to my community cupboard.
00:42My favourite part about our community is that we're always happy to help one another, always happy to give our
00:47last two dollars to our neighbour.
00:49So if you have any dry goods, any pantry items that you'd like to donate, my office is open Monday
00:53to Friday, 9 to 5, and our team will help you out.
