How do scientists find a gravitational wave in detector data, and how do they infer what produced it? This 16-chapter series follows the evidence from interferometer strain, calibration and noise checks through searches, sky localization and waveform-based inference. It then connects gravitational-wave detections with merger light, pulsar timing arrays and the designs of future observatories.

12-second teaser. Full film scheduled for November 6, 2026 at 7:00 PM Toronto time (EST; -05:00).
