It sat in NASA's Kepler data for YEARS β dismissed by a computer as a false positive. Then scientists looked with human eyes, and found Kepler-1649c: an Earth-size planet (just 1.06x Earth's size) orbiting in the habitable zone of its red dwarf star, 300 light-years away. π
It gets 75% of the sunlight Earth gets, and one year there lasts just 19.5 days. Not confirmed habitable β but Earth-size, in the right place. The hidden twin.
