00:01Well, JR, something bad always happens in Survivor Series.
00:04And something bad happened last Monday night when Triple H drove the Black Lincoln
00:10and Rikishi hanging out the window, the sledgehammer hit the rock right in the sternum.
00:14That was last Monday night.
00:16It could have been a lot worse.
00:17I actually think Triple H was, I think he's gonna have to run over the rock if he could.
00:23The following comes as dis-scheduled for one fall.
00:27Introducing first, weighing 424 pounds, Rikishi.
00:34Rikishi, the man that ran over Stone Cold one year ago here at the Survivor Series.
00:39And it's land well orchestrated by the game.
00:42The game and Austin get it on tonight, but this one as well is all so personal.
00:47The Rock, I tell you what, an ill-advised match in my view.
00:54We saw what happened to Mr. Foley, ran Rikishi out of the arena.
00:59But Rikishi came back, King.
01:01Well, you got that right.
01:02Like you said, I don't think The Rock's 100% tonight.
01:05Maybe this is not the best time for this match to happen.
01:09Look at Rikishi.
01:10But it's gonna happen.
01:11It has to happen.
01:12And who will survive this?
01:16If you smile, The Rock is coming.
01:23The Rock, The Rock's pretty down the aisle.
01:26And here we go.
01:28The Rock is gonna try to get it over early.
01:30The Rock is a wounded animal, and he's beaten the holy hell out of Rikishi.
01:35Boy, he said this was personal, and you can tell it.
01:37My God, 424 pounds up and over.
01:42Look at The Rock.
01:44There's no family love between these two anymore.
01:47Rock, where are you going?
01:48Wait a minute, Rock.
01:49Rock, don't do that.
01:50Hold it.
01:51You'll get disqualified, Rock.
01:52Wait a minute, Rock, the match just started.
01:55He'll do it.
01:57Referee Tim White built all he can to do his job.
02:02Rikishi.
02:02Rock turned right into Rikishi's super kick.
02:06The 424 pounder with a shot right on The Rock.
02:10You can't blame that on the referee.
02:11That was Rock's fault.
02:14If the referee had to grab that chair, this match would be over right now.
02:17Rock would be the loser by disqualification.
02:20Right in the chest.
02:21That is full group right there.
02:24Now Rock, you know what Rikishi's gonna do, King?
02:26He's gonna focus as much as he can on that bruise sternum of The Rock.
02:30The Rock has had internal bleeding.
02:32He's been trying to convalesce all week.
02:35But how do you get healthy in less than a week?
02:37A big guy.
02:38You don't, that's how you go on guts and determination on raw courage.
02:42Boy, there's that injured chest of The Rock there, that huge,
02:46huge leg of Rikishi dropping right onto Rock's chest.
02:49These two men grew up in a family, a huge extended family, deep in WWF tradition.
02:59So this is a civil war.
03:01Civil war.
03:02And a shot again right to the chest, right to the sternum of The Rock.
03:14One more shot in the chest, he's not gonna work on knees or legs or arms.
03:19It's gonna be everything in that chest that the full 124 pounder can muster.
03:23There's no family sympathy now.
03:26Rikishi's going right, right for the weak spot.
03:30That's gotta be excruciating.
03:32Right for The Rock's chest.
03:33How can The Rock even survive this?
03:36Under normal circumstances, The Rock should be home trying to heal.
03:47He didn't have to come out here, I mean, I'm a fan of The Rock, but
03:50he didn't have to come out here, he didn't have to do this tonight.
03:54Rikishi taking his time here, and The Rock barely can't even stand up.
03:59He's having to use the rope to hold him.
04:00And The Rock with an adrenaline rush here, with their time with hands.
04:06And the whip is reversed, and Rikishi, my God,
04:10he just planted the 270-pound Rock.
04:15Rock, that may have taken it all out of him.
04:18The 40-pounder, leg-hooked, with three, no, The Rock able to kick out.
04:24Boy, the over 400-pounder, like you said,
04:27planting the 270-pound Rock right into that ring, and everything,
04:33every impact has its toll, takes its toll, and has to be excruciatingly painful to The Rock's chest.
04:39Another vicious stomp right in the chest, and another one.
04:43Looks like The Rock had a bullseye, right on his sternum.
04:46Well, that's exactly what he has.
04:48Right around his heart.
04:49And it's gonna take a hell of a lot of heart for The Rock to survive here tonight in Tampa.
04:54The Rock.
04:54The Rock.
04:55The Rock reverses, The Rock reversed.
05:01And no, use Rikishi's own momentum to take the big man outside.
05:05And The Rock has bought himself just a little bit of time.
05:08Yeah, but man, how much credit do you have to give Rikishi?
05:10He was able to, I mean, he was able to take a little bit of that force away and
05:16almost land on his feet there, partially.
05:17Rock coming outside, I don't know how judicious a move that was.
05:22But The Rock is, he's running on adrenaline.
05:27The only problem with that, JR, is eventually that adrenaline has to run out.
05:31Head.
05:32The Rock's head just dropped off the timekeeper's table.
05:36And bounced off the table like a basketball.
05:41And now The Rock on Dream Street, perhaps doesn't even know where he is here.
05:45Well, he knows where he is, all right.
05:47And he knows who's, he knows he's in trouble and he knows who's delivering that trouble.
05:51Again, right on the chest, right on the sternum.
05:54Rikishi's attack has been relentless on that one injured body part of The Rock,
05:59the people of Tampion.
06:04He's trying to get these two guys to get back in the ring.
06:06The fans on the edge of their seat, The Rock from the Sunshine State of Florida.
06:12Look out, almighty.
06:14The referee just got wiped out, I mean wiped out.
06:20Rikishi driving Rock right back into referee Tim White, Tim's down.
06:25Good grief, we don't need a match of no official.
06:28With The Rock down and unable to get back up at this point in time in the matchup.
06:32What's Rikishi doing?
06:34What is he doing, King?
06:35I don't know what he's doing.
06:36What is he looking for?
06:38Going after Blackman's stick, maybe?
06:39My God, that's all, Jesus almighty.
06:41Got to slant him, got to damn slant him.
06:46We need some help out here.
06:48Somebody get the ref up.
06:51That could be Rock's chest, necks, or his head.
06:56Rikishi's got that button, that slant hammer in his hand.
07:00Come on, ref.
07:02Rock trying to get up, the referee is still down.
07:06Watch your chest, Rock, don't turn around.
07:08This is, don't do it, Rikishi has some conscience.
07:13He wants to drive that slant hammer right into the chest of The Rock.
07:34Come on, ref, get in there, get that slant hammer out of there.
07:37Referee Tim White starting to move around a little bit.
07:40Rikishi's down, the air drier out of him from The Rock Bottom.
07:43The Rock's got to be writhing in pain, excruciating pain from that bruised
07:48sternum, Rock trying to crawl with everything he's got to get a cover.
07:56The Rock's got the cover.
07:58That's not gonna do it, he doesn't have it, that's the arrow.
08:03He's gonna have as wholesome as that.
08:04Yeah, it's gonna take more than that.
08:06He's gonna have to have a better cover on a man like Rikishi, 420 pounds.
08:09He can throw you up like a fly.
08:11Rikishi's very fortunate that the referee was hurt on the outside.
08:14Referee just toss that sledgehammer back to the outside.
08:17Thank goodness he saw that.
08:19Man.
08:20Rock, on the right hand, that's all he's got, a right hand.
08:24And more rocks, by the Smithdown on Rikishi, on Rikishi.
08:30Didn't go down, but down goes The Rock.
08:33Huge headbutt right into the chest of The Rock.
08:38Rikishi using the ropes to hold himself up now.
08:41There's nothing harder on Rikishi's body than that head of his.
08:45Even harder than his fist, he just broke it right into Rock's chest.
08:50424 pounds, measuring The Rock.
08:54Now what?
08:55Another one, the headbutt.
08:58Rikishi with a headbutt, again in the upper torso of The Rock.
09:05Now, Rock is, he's scrambling here.
09:08What a gut check for the People's Champion.
09:11He's hurting, shouldn't be here.
09:13One, two, one, two.
09:13But he's fighting for everything he's got.
09:16My God, he can't measure this man's courage.
09:19Well, you can see Rikishi's game plan.
09:21He's trying to slow The Rock down, but every time Rikishi thinks he's got The Rock where
09:25he wants him somehow.
09:26That's Samoan drop.
09:28Now he has him.
09:28Now Rikishi has The Rock right where he wants him.
09:31A 424 pound Samoan drop.
09:34No, come on.
09:36He's gotta, my God.
09:38That shook the ring.
09:39That's gonna be, and The Rock kicked out.
09:41What? The Rock kicked out, I can't believe this.
09:44How did he do it?
09:45How did he do it?
09:46How did The Rock do it?
09:49I don't believe it.
09:53Rikishi, I thought that would be it for him.
09:57Listen to the crowd a second ago, they were in stunned silence.
10:00They knew it was over for The Rock, but now they're starting to come alive.
10:04They realize the People's Champion needs their help.
10:08Rock, hands down, can defend himself.
10:11Rikishi with a clear shot.
10:14The Rock can barely stand in that corner.
10:16Finish, Rikishi, back it up.
10:20That's over 400 pounds, right into The Rock, and The Rock now, drop, slip to the corner.
10:26No, no, not this.
10:29No, come on, he wouldn't do that to The Rock, would he?
10:33Rock is virtually incapacitated at this stage of the matchup.
10:37Come on.
10:38Are you gonna be kidding me?
10:39How that can't be this?
10:41No!
10:42How humiliating.
10:43The Rock.
10:45How humiliating for The Rock to get that huge ass stuck right in his own face.
10:50The people's stink face, unbelievable.
10:55Man, Rikishi is so proud of himself right now.
10:58Unbelievably humiliating.
10:59The Rock exploded, what a clothesline.
11:04He turned Rikishi a complete flip.
11:07Rikishi went inside out from that thunderous clothesline for The Rock,
11:11who exploded out of the corner.
11:13Look at this.
11:14Like you said, the world's biggest stink face on the People's Champion.
11:18But then, look at this clothesline, watch this, man.
11:23Rock turned 424 pounds inside out.
11:26And now it's back to anybody's ball game.
11:29The Rock trying to get back up.
11:30He's gotta be just, I don't know if The Rock has ever encountered this much pain in
11:36his entire athletic life.
11:37It was like that, that stink face was like a smelling salt for The Rock.
11:41He lunged up and flipped Rikishi like an omelet.
11:45Look out.
11:46No, here we go.
11:47Rikishi blocked the right hand, came back to the right of his own.
11:49The Rock checks.
11:50This is a super kick, however.
11:52Hey, spine buster.
11:54The Rock got a spine buster.
11:56And The Rock screaming and writhing in pain.
11:59Can't capitalize, The Rock can't get over there and cover.
12:02The Rock literally screaming in pain, but he wouldn't not quit.
12:06You gotta be kidding me, Rock, just trying to cover the man.
12:10We're gonna, in his condition, we're gonna see it.
12:14Name of the electrified move on Rikishi, people's elbow.
12:18The people's elbow, right to the heart of Rikishi, can The Rock cover?
12:25Every one of these huge moves, Rikishi is down.
12:28So is The Rock.
12:30They all take their toll on The Rock, too.
12:32The Rock turned a pole, any way he can.
12:35If you can just cover him now, just get an arm across him, you got him, Rock.
12:39Just a finger on him, anything.
12:41The Rock on top, will this be enough?
12:44Yes!
12:46Yes!
12:51Unbelievable.
12:52Here is your winner, The Rock.
12:55Look, the people's elbow did it, JR!
13:00Somehow, someway, this magnificent stallion was able to ward off the pain,
13:05to fight through the anguish.
13:07And on this occasion, vanquished Rikishi.
13:11But how, how in the hell did The Rock do it?
13:15Well, you can see right there, he did it.
13:18He accomplished it, but it took a tremendous toll.
13:20I wouldn't be surprised.
13:21I mean, The Rock may never be the same again after this.
13:24The Rock trying to pull himself up.
13:26There's no celebration for the people's champion tonight.
13:31But Rikishi's back up, too.
13:33Hey, wait a minute, Rock.
13:35Watch your back.
13:36Well, Rikishi with a stupid kick back to The Rock's face.
13:40All right, come on, it's enough.
13:42Damn it, it's enough.
13:44But come on.
13:45No, no, Rupert, you gotta stop this.
13:47The Rock is down there, helpless.
13:49The Rock, no, the Rock, just go.
13:51For God's sakes.
13:53Get off, let's go.
13:55What the hell, that's enough.
13:56Get Rock out of there.
13:59Get the, get somebody out, not again.
14:02Rock can't.
14:03Come on, come on.
14:05For God, no, no.
14:08That's 424 pounds, not one foot twice.
14:13And Kese's sick, he's like a madman.
14:15Well, we're getting some more help out here, but look at this.
14:17Come on, come on, you got him.
14:20Get in there, referee, stop this guy.
14:22This is gonna burn, the burn, the burn, the burn, the burn, the burn, the burn.
14:31Well, that's gonna cause Rikishi, but he doesn't really care right now.
14:35Rikishi's lost it, he's a madman, he's a sick, psychotic, 424 pound animal.
14:44Rikishi has destroyed The Rock.
14:46It wasn't about wins and losses, now wait a minute.
14:49That sick, psychotic, 424 pound madman has done the damage.
14:54He's left The Rock laying, he's not through.
14:56The referee's been a sawdome.
14:59What the hell is he doing?
15:01No, come on, that he's done three times.
15:04To the bar.
15:06Four Banzai drops on the chest of The Rock.
15:10He'll never, The Rock, The Rock King will never be the same.
15:14Thanks to Rikishi, The Rock will never be the same.
15:21The Rock has won the match,
15:23but has lost the war to the psychotic 400 pound animal.
15:27I told you I could feel that something bad was gonna happen here at Survivor Series.
15:31And this, JR, this is bad.
15:34Take a look one more time.
15:36The Rock hit the spine buster.
15:38And then, boy, he's gotta be hurting like hell right here.
15:42But he still delivered that devastating people's elbow.
15:46This was after the match came.
15:48After the match, the super kick to The Rock's face.
15:50And then we saw a succession of Banzai drops.
15:54Not one, not two, not three, but four, four Banzai drops, 420 pounds worth each one of them.
16:02The impact, shaking the ring, and Rikishi blocks what he has done.
16:10The Rock, he's gonna need some medical attention.
