Seven young people from the city—all avid off-road motorcyclists—set out to traverse the remote, desolate Gurgut Gobi, a vast wilderness so inhospitable it is said that "even birds cannot fly across it." While searching for the rest of their group, three of them—Jia Yi (played by Xie Yi), Xiao Beijing (played by Na Lin), and "Glasses" (played by Yang Haichao)—stumble upon a different group lurking in the Gobi: illegal miners. Feeling threatened by this chance encounter, the miners launch a pursuit, turning the sprawling, barren landscape into a deadly hunting ground. Meanwhile, the other four members of the group—Tianshan (played by Shao Bing), Qiangzi (played by Peng Bo), Youzi (played by Li Ming), and Maimaiti (played by Iliyar Abulimiti)—remain completely unaware of the unfolding danger as they wander the Gobi in search of their missing companions. It is only after being attacked by an armed individual that they realize they are not alone in this uninhabited wasteland. Faced with bloodshed and slaughter, the young riders must conquer their own fears and launch a desperate counterattack—fighting, above all, for their very survival.
