00:00Good morning. It's another chilly start for many places. There's a bit of fog, but a freezing fog
00:04in some areas as well. It's all due to the high pressure that's across the UK. That's keeping
00:10things largely settled. Lots of clear skies overnight. Just in the east, we have a bit more
00:14cloud, a bit more of a breeze and some showery outbreaks of rain. That rain is going to push
00:19further westwards through the day and perhaps turn more persistent across some southeastern areas as
00:23well. Maybe some heavier bursts of rain as we had later in the afternoon. Most areas though,
00:28towards northern western parts of England and Wales and across much of Scotland and Northern
00:32Ireland, staying fine. Lots of sunshine, lots of blue skies. And with that, well, it's not going
00:37to feel too bad at all, even if temperatures are around average for the time of year, fresher than
00:41they were earlier on in the week. And with a, well, a bit of a breeze, a blustery winds towards
00:47the
00:47southeast and the east, it is going to feel fairly cold at times. And towards the northwest, the winds
00:52will be strengthening a bit of cloud, maybe some drizzly rain arriving here. That's going to feed
00:57a little bit more in as we go through the evening. And we are going to see the showery rain
01:00in the
01:00southeast spreading westwards across much of England and Wales through the night. Meanwhile,
01:06the majority of Scotland and Northern Ireland will stick with the dry, clear weather. So again,
01:11it's going to be a chilly night here. Touch of frost quite likely, temperatures dropping a few degrees
01:16below freezing. Some fog, some freezing fog in prone spots could cause some problems on the roads
01:21first thing on Monday morning. Meanwhile, elsewhere, with a change in our wind direction, the cloud,
01:26the rain coming through across England and Wales, temperatures up a degree or so compared to last
01:31night. So a cloudier, for some wetter start to the day on Monday across England and Wales at least.
01:38That sherry rain is going to feed further north and west. So some parts of southern eastern Scotland
01:43and some parts towards the east of Northern Ireland will turn cloudier through the afternoon
01:48and there'll be a bit of rain arriving. Meanwhile, across the central southern parts of England and
01:52Wales, the clouds going to break up and there'll be some sunshine at times, but perhaps some further
01:57sherry bursts of rain possible as well. With a change in our wind direction, we are bringing in
02:01milder air than over the weekend and so temperatures for most will be a little bit higher than both today
02:07and yesterday. But with more cloud around, well, we need to factor that in less sunshine for many of
02:13us as well. Looking ahead through the rest of the week and whilst Tuesdays still likely to be, well,
02:19a bit showery at times, as we go deeper into the week, well, there's the potential for a deep low
02:24pressure to come somewhere close to the UK. So we're watching that quite closely because, well, it could
02:29bring some very wet and windy weather as we go through the latter stages of the week. One to keep
02:34an eye out for and one to keep on top of. So make sure you subscribe to our YouTube channel
