00:00The unlocking Cat conversation, I'm going to make a plea to everybody out there.
00:03Can we finally put this one to bed?
00:06I'm asking politely because we've been asking this question about Cat since he's entered the league.
00:11And I think where I've arrived at, at least, is like he's a very non-traditional player.
00:16You know, there's a little Jokic, there's a little KD, there's a little, you know, insert your more traditional center
00:22here.
00:22And he's just a little bit of all of those different things.
00:25And I think the reality with Cat is it's never going to be everything you want all the time.
00:34But it's about making sure that when he's out there, he is helping you in in some ways.
00:40And honestly, a lot of that comes down to maximum effort on defense, which we saw in the playoffs, and,
00:45like, doing the dirty work.
00:46Like, was he more valuable in any capacity than hitting the boards and, like, grabbing really valuable offensive rebounds, getting
00:53putbacks throughout the playoffs?
00:54Like, that stuff matters, too, in addition to all the stuff we spent so much time talking about.
00:58And I think you saw through the postseason, you saw what the team needs, which is what you talked about,
01:02the little things, right?
01:03But I think you're right.
01:04Everybody wants it all.
01:05They want a team full of 5, 25-point-per-game scores, which is not going to happen.
01:11But guess what?
01:11If we got all the things that Cat is capable of doing all the time, he's one of the five
01:15greatest players who ever lived.
01:17Like, you know, there's boundaries to this.
01:19Right.
