The Philadelphia Eagles are signing quarterback Joe Milton III off the Dallas Cowboys' practice squad after Jalen Hurts was ruled out indefinitely with a blood clot in his calf, according to multiple reports.
Backup Tanner McKee is expected to start Sunday against the Carolina Panthers as the Eagles manage their quarterback room. Milton, a 2024 sixth-round pick by the New England Patriots, has appeared in five NFL regular-season games and could face his former team when Philadelphia visits Dallas in Week 7.
