00:11to rectify this terrible mistake. There are a lot of reasons for Endless Legend 2 to be on your radar,
00:18from the elaborate story-driven campaign to the tidefall mechanic, where the ocean keeps
00:22retreating to reveal new realms. But for me, the main hook is the asymmetrical faction design.
00:29Endless Legend 2 takes its asymmetry very seriously. This is not just a case of getting
00:34a few unique units or buildings, the differences are fundamental. The Kin of Sheridan, for example,
00:41are turtlers who love to build tall. The Sandshapers, meanwhile, are ancient magical terraformers
00:47driven to expand. And the Last Lords are vampiric ghosts who can sacrifice other races to grow their
00:54own population. These differences are just the starting point. The choices you then make in the
00:59campaign turn each faction into something that's uniquely yours, and none of this would matter if
01:04the journey to world domination wasn't compelling. When you throw these weirdos together in a constantly
01:09shifting map, that's when Endless Legend 2 starts to become something truly special.
