The Dream are set to face the Valkyries in the WNBA Finals, but how did they fare against them in the regular season?
Transcript
00:00Now, you played Golden State three times in the regular season.
00:03All three games were in the middle of a dream five-game losing streak.
00:07So you did lose all three to Golden State, but two of them were a one-possession game.
00:1278-75, oh, I can't do math.
00:15That's a two-possession game.
00:1688-83 is the two-possession game.
00:19You were thinking it was one possession if it was football.
00:21Yeah, relatively competitive there.
00:23Be a lot of touchdowns if that were football.
00:25But some competitive games there.
00:27And, again, you know, about a quarter of the way through the season, Bunk,
00:32the dream had the second-best record in the league,
00:35first-best record in how they split Eastern Conference,
00:38even though there's not really the standings.
00:40It's very weird.
00:42And I started thinking to myself, like, way back when, 16 games into the season,
00:47like, this is one of the teams that could win the finals.
00:49Like, they were very high up in the power rankings,
00:52and they kind of had a little bit of a Braves run where there were some stretches of down.
00:56I just mentioned the five-game losing streak where it started to fall apart,
00:59and you went from two-seed, three-seed, four-seed.
01:01I think you got down almost near the seven-seed, fought your way back up.
01:05But you close the season, four-seed, make your way through the semifinals,
01:12and a chance to win a WNBA championship.
01:14And it's just like opportunity to win a title in the city is always cool.
01:17I don't like that.
