00:00leader of this team Yamamoto
00:04Contreras does just as a man of
00:08extremes.
00:08When it's going bad it can go
00:10really bad tends to snowball
00:11with him but when he's feeling
00:13right the whole team writes in
00:21they call wild bill two on one
00:25He's now third inning.
00:28What you're seeing right now is
00:32because the baserunners it's not
00:34because in the regular season
00:35baserunners would bother him.
00:37It's the postseason baserunning
00:39threat of a stolen base.
00:41He's having to concentrate on
00:43that and make pitches at the
00:44same time.
00:56Those 10 K's against Atlanta in
00:58his division series start only
00:59has one today even though he's
01:01gotten to two strikes a bunch.
01:02Yeah this is the fifth two
01:07strike base runner here batter
01:09for the for the Brewers.
01:35The Brewers have gotten on the
01:37two strikes already the most
01:46pitches Yamamoto said to throw
01:47through three innings of a game
01:48this year.
01:49The Brewers have got a lot of
01:52players to to speed on the bases
02:16for the Brewers as another 2 2
02:18comes home from Yamamoto.
02:20Ball goes full.
02:22Brewers continue to make the A's
02:24work.
02:24Well let's see what Pat Murphy
02:26does here.
02:28Usually if you're sending your
02:29runners you trust your hitter.
02:31Meaning you trust your hitter
02:33that he's not going to swing at
02:35the ball for.
02:46Ball center field.
02:49To.
02:51Runners.
02:52To.
03:04Three two pitch right here he just
03:06powers one.
03:08And just beats Contreras.
03:16Yeah moto trying to do something
03:18similar to what Jacob is rowski
03:20did yesterday in the second
03:21inning.
03:22He's able to hold the Dodgers to
03:23just the one run.
03:24L.A. didn't score again after
03:25that here in Milwaukee first and
03:27second with one away.
03:28He gets out number two and now
03:30faces Bowers.
03:43Popped him up the first time.
03:48Well one.
03:49One ball no strikes.
04:14On the corner one on one.
04:25It off single from David Hamilton
04:27the walk for Bryce terrain.
04:30I'm right second go ahead run
04:32at first and a one one pitch to
04:33the Milwaukee first baseman
04:34Jake Bowers.
04:37Upstairs football to.
04:38to.
04:44Previous side for most pitches
04:45through three innings in a game
04:47this year was fifty two.
04:56On a two one from Yamamoto
04:58Bowers.
04:59Watches fall in there and the
05:01count evens up.
05:02Such a big pitch right there to
05:04one.
05:04That's the one I was telling you
05:06that slows the hitter down.
05:07This is the ball out of his
05:08hand.
05:09And then it comes down and he
05:10can throw it for a strike a
05:11lot.
05:12What do you like off of that.
05:13Well what's going to happen
05:14this is going to be a firm
05:15pitch now.
05:16I mean this is just slow him
05:17down and then speed him up
05:18with something firm.
05:22With the splitter and just
05:23left it up.
05:24Got underneath.
05:25But he's not afraid on a
05:26three two pitch now the
05:27Mary grounds going to happen
05:28the runners are going to go
05:29which helps.
05:32The Brewers on anything soft in
05:34the infield and possibly.
05:37Getting two runs that's in a
05:38gap but.
05:39He's comfortable throwing a
05:41three two pitch.
05:41That's what makes it tough
05:42against him.
05:44He has four pitches he can go
05:45to at any time in the count.
05:55There they go.
05:56Here it comes.
05:56Powers fights it off and we'll
05:58do it again.
05:58Ninety seven to the inside part.
06:03Such a good pitch.
06:04I mean it's a ball but you can't
06:06tell coming out of the hand
06:07the hitter goes.
06:08He's got to fight it off.
06:15Already.
06:17Sixth full count.
06:19The others hoping for a chance
06:20here in the third.
06:25Yamamoto tries it again.
06:27Powers.
06:29To towering fly ball foul.
06:32And it continues and whether
06:34they score here or not damage
06:36done.
06:36In fact they've got that pitch
06:37count so high.
06:39Similar to the Dodgers idea
06:40against Mizorowski yesterday.
06:42The earlier the ace gets out of
06:43the game the better.
06:55Single going to walk to set the
06:56table.
06:57Long battle here for Bowers on
06:58the ninth pitch from Yamamoto.
07:04He pops it down the left field
07:05line.
07:06Back goes Muncie.
07:07On comes Hernandez.
07:09Hernandez watches it fall in
07:11front of him.
07:13It's like they were going to
07:14collide if he kept going.
07:15That's a tough play when the
07:16third baseman is running
07:17towards the left fielder.
07:22This ball is fading.
07:24And you can see as the angles
07:26are coming in.
07:29It's going to be tough unless
07:30he laid out and then laying
07:31out would have been right into
07:33Muncie.
07:41One at bat this is Ben.
07:51Seventieth pitch from Yamamoto.
07:53Tenth to Bowers.
07:57Off the hands left side.
07:59Muncie charges on this time and
08:01it dies foul.
08:02Harmlessly over there in front
08:04of the dugout.
08:05I tell us Bowers is in swing
08:08mode because that's three balls
08:09now that he has swung in which
08:11he's gotten to.
08:12And it would tell me right now
08:13that that splitter down and
08:15away would be the pitch I would
08:16throw here because if he's in
08:18swing mode it's going to be
08:19tough to lay off that pitch.
08:21Started right down the middle
08:22to outer third.
08:24Those pitches up and in he's
08:26been swinging at.
08:27Which tells me he's.
08:29Wanting to hit.
08:31Career year for Jake Bowers.
08:33Out of the blue.
08:34Trying to deliver here in the
08:36championship series.
08:37Another playoff from Yamamoto.
08:40Down the line foul.
08:43The reason I say that splitter
08:44he's got in cover.
08:46Those are four pitches in her
08:48half now.
08:48One up another one up and that
08:50one to putter in.
08:54The runners are saying uncle.
08:57This is wind sprints
08:58conditioning.
09:01Come on Jake they're saying.
09:04Enough.
09:16Pitch number 11.
09:19Bowers.
09:20Bowers.
09:21The offense stays alive.
09:23Wow.
09:24That was a really good pitch and
09:25a great job following that off.
09:27I mean that's.
09:31Субтитры сделал DimaTorzok.
09:58And he said for the first time in a long time, brought me back to his high school days in
10:02Southern California, free mentally.
10:05Got an issue with the pitch comp here.
10:08Get a new one out there.
10:11We get a quick word from Capital One.
10:13With the Capital One Venture X card, you earn unlimited double miles on everything you buy.
10:18And turn all of your purchases into extraordinary trips.
10:21Capital One, what's in your wallet?
10:23In a seven-season journey, this is the longest played appearance of Jake Bauer's career.
10:28And the bullpen has started to work for the Dodgers.
10:32So even if a run doesn't cross here, damage done by Milwaukee.
10:37And that little rest helped the runners.
10:39They're taking their...
10:43Alex Vassie loosens.
10:49What a battle.
10:50How does it end?
10:52But football four.
10:54Jake Bauer is as impressive of a walk as he's ever taken in his life.
11:09And I would think the first one he gets to look at, he would want to try to get to
11:15that fastball after all those pitches that were thrown.
11:31This is the guy, this is who it all started with, the trade almost a decade ago.
11:44Christian Yelich lines the ball, center field, it's down.
11:49Hamilton's in to score the time run.
11:51Terrain comes in behind him.
11:53Milwaukee takes the lead.
11:55And it's Christian Yelich coming through.
12:10Well, you can't help that a little bit of fatigue here as you see that change, a curveball pop out
12:14of his hand, look good to Yelich head down.
12:18And he gets that base hit.
12:20It's awfully difficult on a pitcher when he throws that many pitches in an inning and high-stress pitches, to
12:26say the least.
12:31And so Yelich, who had not knocked in a run in a postseason game since the championship series against the
12:36Dodgers in 2018, before delivering against San Diego, has driven in two right here, a day after he's left out
12:44of the lineup in game one, contributes in game two.
12:49Well, that's the shock to the system that I was talking about.
12:52Right now, you've got Yamamoto, the most dominant pitcher in postseason, even then on the road.
12:56You've got him on the ropes, and you would never have seen that coming based on the way that he's
13:01been throwing the ball, and that's going to be it.
13:03Wow.
13:04I mean, he's fatigued.
13:06By far the shortest start of Yoshinobi Yamamoto's postseason career.
13:13Out of the game in the third inning.
13:16Milwaukee's taking a 3-2 lead, and into the Dodger bullpen like that.
13:32We said to Christian Yelich a couple weeks ago, look, man, I know this has been a miserable year for
13:36you.
13:37I know it's not been any fun.
13:38We're going to need you.
13:39We're counting on you.
13:42Christian said, if I can just get hot at the right time, it'll all be worth all these struggles, all
13:47the extra work to figure out the swing.
13:50And his biggest one of the year, a two-run single right there, has Milwaukee in front, and it's Chase
13:55Yamamoto from this game.
13:57So the Dodger bullpen takes over already, and it's Alex Veseo, who pitched a score to sixth inning yesterday.
14:03Yeah, coming into a hot situation here, and he's so tough to hit, so facing a left-hander, trying to
14:11close out this inning.
14:13Struck out Mitchell yesterday.
14:16Struck out one to him here.
14:19Three scored his innings in yesterday's game to keep him in it.
14:24We're going to have to carry a massive load in this game.
14:27On a day where you normally going down there thinking, hey, I get the chill today.
14:41He's got a very long inning for Logan Henderson.
14:45It'll be interesting to see when he comes out what that delay, although be the adrenaline of getting the lead,
14:51helps.
15:07All started with David Hamilton getting somewhat of a surprise start out of the ninth spot.
15:11Part of that, Joey Ortiz's struggles at third base.
15:14Part of it, though, Pat Murphy's saying, I like his speed, like his ability to get on and impact the
15:18game.
15:18Leads off with a single, walks from Terrain and Bowers, and then Yelich delivers.
15:24That's a strikeout of Mitchell to finish off the Brewers in the third.
15:27But it forced Yamamoto to throw 36 pitches in the inning, and he's finished.
15:38Welcome back to Milwaukee here with Dodgers manager Dave Roberts.
15:41Dave, let's start with Yamamoto.
15:42What happened?
15:43Yeah, I just think that, you know, you've got to give credit to Contreras, Bowers.
15:48Those guys put together great at-bat.
15:50So, you know, they were spoiling really good pitches.
15:52They took some pitches that were tough.
15:54They've certainly got the pitch count.
15:56I think they're both 10, 12 at-bat pitches.
15:59And, yeah, you know, I mean, you've got to give credit to them.
16:02And then he hangs a breaking ball out of Yelich.
16:03And for me, I just felt that we had to kind of stop the damage right there and get Vessi
16:09in there.
16:09You said the Brewers create even more pressure when they have the lead.
16:13How do you slow them down?
16:15Yeah, you know, obviously, they're at home.
16:16They feel the momentum.
16:17And, you know, Hamilton leads off, steals a base, and they sort of kind of feed off of that.
16:22So, right now, I think we've just got to reset, regroup.
16:25We've got 16 years of baseball to play.
16:26And I like our at-bats, you know.
16:28So, we're seeing him well.
16:29We're taking good at-bats against him and kind of regain that league.
16:32Dave, thanks a lot.
16:33Joe, back to you.
16:34All right, guys, two hits, two walks against Logan Henderson for Dave Roberts' offense.
16:38Will Smith leading off his fourth to third.
16:41And a leaping Hamilton making the catch.
16:47They got a spring right there.
16:48Shot off the catch that.
16:49Well, that was the pitch that Smith's been looking for.
16:53Off-speed, middle of the plate, get him going.
16:56And unfortunately, it's an atom ball right at him.
16:59But better signs for Will Smith and his two at-bats so far in this game.
17:05One gone in this fourth inning.
17:06Up comes Max Muncy.
17:15He swings at the first pitch.
17:17And a pop-up to third.
17:18Hamilton again the call.
17:19And the catch.
17:23Suit up like the pros in October's biggest stage.
17:26You can check out the ultimate collection of official on-field jerseys, caps, hoodies, tees,
17:30and postseason gear at MLBshop.com.
17:33Represent your team in style.
17:35This is crazy.
17:36Both starting pitchers are on the verge of coming out of the game.
17:38One already did.
17:39You got action in the Milwaukee Blue, Milwaukee bullpen.
17:42And it's just the nature of this, this game and how important it is to each team.
17:48The hitters have done a nice job taking away the strengths of each pitcher.
17:51Got the left hand Jojo Romero warming and then a bit of a surprise.
17:55Dustin May who started game three of the division series is warming.
17:59Strike on Andy Pajas.
18:01So it's going to be rookie Sasaki for the Dodgers in the fourth.
18:05Bottom of the lineup due up for Milwaukee.
18:11Pajas.
18:12Trames and misses on two.
18:14Now.
18:15Henderson can change the mind of Pat Murphy by finishing strong in this inning.
18:20Because his eyes are seeing something that tells him the information is different.
18:24The hitters are squaring up a lot of pitches.
18:29The Brewers as good as the pen has been.
18:31They're asking a lot of these guys.
18:33If only averaged four innings per start in the playoffs.
18:36Okay when you're playing a four game series.
18:38But the longer the series go and the deeper you go into October.
18:41The more that makes you hold your breath.
18:50Now two.
18:58Typically done pretty aggressive with Henderson.
19:00Getting them out of there before the pitch down.
19:02Gets two eyes.
19:03Only reached a hundred pitches twice in his young career.
19:05и с чемпионатом, а с п gastюмом
19:07Техни-то в две семьи.
19:09Компания.
19:21Это в голубой атмосферной
19:29Субтитры.
19:29Гмцов.
19:30Часing him from the game the guy
19:32that pitched a complete game in
19:34this ballpark in the championship
19:35series last year goes just two
19:37and two thirds Alex Fessy got the
19:39last out of the third inning and
19:41now here's Roki Sasaki well
19:43you're going to face kind of the
19:44same pitcher as far as the
19:45splitter goes and it's hard to
19:47hit his splitter 161 batting
19:49average against basically
19:50fastball splitter with an
19:51occasional slider bottom of the
19:53line up here fastball easy one
19:56on one for a strike Sasaki is a
19:58starter that they've moved to the
19:59bullpen same thing they did at
20:01the end of last season this year
20:03second half he's one of the
20:05Dodgers best starting pitchers
20:06then he got a blister didn't
20:07really pitch the last month relief
20:10roll since time back drawing in at
20:12third months he wants to have
20:13quick hands and guys to get
20:14proud great play there by Muncie
20:29first we're talking about South
20:31free look how much Pat Murphy
20:32loves this guy probably the guy
20:36the best embodies what these
20:37brewers are all about their
20:38style of just relentless
20:40scrappiness and then pretty darn
20:42good to think a lot of times you
20:44get guys like this and you only
20:45focus on how scrappy they are
20:47but pretty darn good player look
20:50at what he did in the division
20:51series three hits he had a couple
20:52walks knocked in two runs scored a
20:55couple runs great defense and
20:59then the toughness component of
21:01it the confidence Pat Murphy was
21:02telling us about their hitters
21:03meeting talking about Tarek
21:05Scoble before game one and they
21:07were saying hey do we know the
21:08left handers consider squaring
21:09around the bunt and for it's like
21:11oh no that's tough 100 sales said
21:12I'll square around I'll take a
21:13hundred to the face nobody knows
21:15my name I get hit by a hundred in
21:17the face everybody will know okay
21:19so they love him for that kind of
21:22attitude guy that grew up
21:25vitalizing Dustin Pedroia and Pat
21:27Murphy says he is that for us on
21:32this to one from Sasaki really
21:34takes all three this is going to
21:37be the only issue for Sasaki is
21:39fastball command because he wants
21:40to get ahead and then put you
21:41away with that splitter so now
21:44Sal can just sell out for a
21:46fastball and if it's middle
21:47middle he's going to let it rip
21:53Freelich takes one out base
21:58runner for the Brewers it's just
22:01an amazing at bat Jake Bowers
22:03normally you don't think about
22:04bats in terms of minutes right
22:06minutes and seconds in baseball
22:08but his at bat lasted seven
22:10minutes and 15 seconds and then
22:12Logan Henderson goes back out
22:14there and a three minute twenty
22:16second bottom of the end or top of
22:17the end under a board for
22:21Hamilton Sasaki is easier to
22:23steal against that it's a bunt
22:26and it's foul yeah ten stolen
22:28bases and only two putts
22:30stealing Hamilton bunting was
22:35not really part of his game when
22:37he broke in with the Boston Red
22:38Sox but the Brewers traded for
22:40him this offseason that trade
22:41did sent Durbin to Boston got them
22:44Kyle Harrison got them James
22:45drawing got him David Hamilton
22:48and they said look if you're
22:49going to be part of our team
22:50you've got to learn how to bunt
22:52drags this one foul he's down on
22:54two free that was running there
22:55yeah I was just getting ready to
22:57say the one thing that the
22:58Brewers can employ is when the
23:01runner takes off and you know
23:02the batter is bunting you won't
23:04that was almost a straight steal
23:05because he must have missed some
23:07you can get to third base because
23:10the bunt has to be played the
23:11first base you just keep running
23:13there he went and go head first
23:15so it's a different scenario but
23:16now with two strikes it changes
23:18everything but that's a play
23:20that they can run to perfection
23:23especially he bought it to
23:24third base one way or the other
23:25trying to put the pressure on
23:26here in the fourth inning takes
23:28high and it's one and two
23:53second one that's out of here
23:55Hamilton's speed so good at
24:00choice for David Hamilton back to
24:01the top of the order and cheerio
24:04you almost feel like for sure
24:07Hamilton has got to steal to get
24:10to second cheerio took the first
24:13pitch last time maybe even
24:14anticipate that but a better
24:16opportunity now against Saki
24:18than Yamamoto Torrio two for six
24:23the first few games test our
24:34theory he won't throw over there
24:37again right now meaning back to
24:39back so your point was that would
24:48be the best pitch to run yep I
24:51know you got your one of your
24:52best hitters at the plate but if
24:55something crazy would happen he
24:56gets thrown out and you got him
24:58leading off the next inning Chris
25:01Kubik swarming in the Dodger pad
25:03everybody going to need to be
25:04involved today and two on cheerio
25:07has given him a chance nothing
25:10going so far not often you see
25:13Jackson take two pitches as
25:15aggressive as they come and they
25:17have learned to live with that
25:18because a lot of good comes from
25:23there goes Hamilton and a swing and a
25:26miss throw down from Smith and the
25:30inning scoreless fourth for Roki
25:32Sasaki three two and getting to
25:34back afterward from your local Fox
25:51station one of the first one in the
25:53third for Los Angeles one in the
25:54first two in the third from
25:56Milwaukee Brewers trying to get a
25:582 0 series lead looking for their
25:59first pennant since 1982 even the
26:03Logan Henderson is rolling here
26:04he's retired six in a row both the
26:06lefty and the righty continue to
26:07warm eight nine and one for the
26:09Dodgers even the fifth and Kyle
26:11Tucker follows off the first
26:12pitch is that if traffic hits or
26:16is yeah I think mainly going to
26:20be I wouldn't say batter to
26:22batter right now but it
26:23definitely by the time Freddie
26:24Freeman gets up if there's
26:26traffic I don't think you'll be
26:27able to face him start looking at
26:31the game backwards you've got the
26:33big three in the rebate McGill and
26:35Ashby rebate McGill definitely
26:37going to be available today just
26:38the one in yesterday but Ashby the
26:40two and he's heavily used and Pat
26:42Murphy said he was going to talk
26:43to him he knew that he would tell
26:44him yeah I'm available but at some
26:46point you got to keep an eye on
26:48that usage
26:50the pitch
26:51Tucker down the line towards the
26:52corner it's a fair and it's extra
26:54bases for now Tucker to lead off
26:56the fifth time running to scoring
26:58position to open the inning as
27:00Tucker gets his first hit of the
27:02series
27:04first hit of the series but sixth
27:05of the playoffs John the lead the
27:07Dodgers well this looked a lot
27:09better we've talked about the bat
27:11path and this fastball that he
27:13just gets on top of
27:15so one thing again that when the
27:19hitter starts feeling that sound
27:20and getting those results way
27:24better and you know Edmund's
27:26going to do everything he can to
27:29get this ground ball or outfield
27:32to the right side could be a
27:33sacrifice to use their best
27:35punter and was showing took a
27:39ball we asked Dave he said yeah
27:41we're not going to turn into the
27:42Brewers as we mentioned but if
27:44there are guys that could bond
27:45it'd be Tommy Edmund Miguel
27:46Rojas off of the bench also good
27:48at it
27:55Dodgers trying to manufacture the
27:57time run Edmund lays it down
27:58beautifully Henderson the first
28:02and two of the three Dodger runs
28:04have come on bad throws from
28:06Logan Henderson it's tied up in
28:09the fifth
28:10and Pat Murphy wastes no time
28:13walking out of that dugout to
28:15make the change so good from the
28:18mound today but two throwaways
28:20one on a pickoff and one on a
28:22bunt it's the seventh air in six
28:25games in the playoffs for the
28:27Brewers threatening to ruin this
28:29day what a mixed set of feelings
28:35Logan Henderson's got to have
28:36shutting down this offense for the
28:37most part in his own poor
28:40defense spelling his demise
28:55championship series gets underway
28:56tonight game one the Guardians and
28:58the Rays from the trap on TBS
29:00continues with game two tomorrow
29:02we'll be back with you on
29:03Wednesday from Los Angeles game
29:05three of this NLCS Mookie Betts
29:08against Dustin May Dodger misses
29:11away with a fastball first time
29:13the Mays pitched in relief in the
29:14postseason since the 2020 World
29:16Series with the Dodgers Logan
29:18Henderson man this close to having
29:20this be a really special day the
29:22two throwaways leading to two of
29:25the three runners that's who's
29:28reached both times he's ahead to
29:30know things go a little bit
29:31faster sometimes in the post
29:33season him experience it for the
29:34first time you you hope you get
29:36to learn from it and be better
29:38and just simple plays sometimes
29:40aren't so simple in the post
29:43season and now the Dodgers
29:46looking for the lead still nobody
29:47out Tommy I've been in second one
29:50on Mookie Betts that's walked and
29:55scored in the first inning singled
29:56in the third Dustin May spent the
30:02first six plus years with the
30:03Dodgers traded to Boston at the
30:05deadline last year Cardinals
30:07Brewers this season it's a two and
30:12two started game three against the
30:14Padres really struggled two runs
30:16on two walks three hits only lasted
30:18three innings two things he's trying
30:22to do he's trying to bury that
30:23sinker in so he'd get a ground ball
30:24to the left side and obviously
30:27Mookie Betts is trying to do the
30:28opposite and see those two foul
30:30balls to right field gets this one
30:34in play the second and terrain and
30:36advances Tommy Edmond the third
30:38bets with a pump of the fish doing
30:39exactly what he wanted yeah that's
30:41just a great at that right there
30:42and he's going to get the acclame
30:44on the all the congratulations in
30:46the dugout when he gets there
30:52the Dodgers just one extra base hit
30:54in this series this has been now
30:56much more of a small ball approach
30:58today taking advantage of what the
31:00Brewers defense has given him time
31:02run now 90 feet away infield comes
31:04in Freddie Freeman comes up and takes
31:09upstairs challenge from Contreras he
31:20wasn't sure about this challenge
31:22the physical ball was in between
31:24one count for those and it wasn't a
31:26firm top of the helmet but Freddie as
31:29good as anybody is getting the ball
31:30in the air when he needs to
31:43the ball lays off and it's 2 1 0 2
31:46thousand five hundred and ninety
31:48eight regular season hits for
31:49Freddie Freeman more than any
31:50other active fitter got a shot at
31:52three thousand now in his 17th
31:55major league year
32:02on a 2 0 from Dustin May Freddie
32:04Freeman pops it in the left not
32:08particularly beat Churio settles makes
32:11the catch here comes Edmund here
32:12comes the throw
32:13it is nine and time Dodgers take the
32:17lead
32:18Contreras wants him to take a look as
32:20it stands Freddie Freeman has knocked
32:22in Tommy Edmund to make it four to
32:24three
32:24and they will challenge oh boy
32:29it's worth the challenge either way
32:31I mean it's a run that takes the
32:33lead and I told you Fred he's the
32:35best I've ever seen it
32:37manufacturing a ball in the air
32:39Milwaukee is challenging safe
32:41call home plate
32:43he's gonna be safe unless he got
32:46him on that when the foot was up
32:48in the air that we can't see
32:56it's worth the challenge any play
32:57that cost you a run
33:03they got a massive video board
33:05here and the fans I think seeing
33:06one of the replays on there with
33:08their hearts
33:09although that foot does pop up and
33:12at least make it interesting
33:14yeah he's safe
33:18so the Dodgers taking advantage of
33:20their first extra base hit of this
33:22series the leadoff double from Kyle
33:23Tucker but then this has been a day
33:25for the small ball that's the second
33:27sacrifice fly they've had a
33:29sacrifice point move the runner
33:32over and take an advantage of the
33:33two airs

36:02That's not a way to look at it
36:04but the two teams have switched
36:06and how they are scoring their
36:09runs and playing their game
36:11Dodgers out of these four runs
36:13two of them on SAC flies two of
36:14them on airs talked about the
36:18Dodgers in their slug and their
36:19inability to create runs or score
36:21with runners in scoring position.
36:22И они сделали это.
36:23И они сделали это.
36:23И они сделали это.
36:24В ways that you would be more.
36:28Brewer centric.
36:29You know that's what the brewers
36:30do cause you to.
36:31Make those plays.
36:34And is able to stay alive.
36:37I was trying to give them some
36:38of their own medicine and get
36:39this series back to L.A.
36:41for those three games tied at a
36:42game apiece.
36:43Game three on Wednesday night.
36:56Got a fastball by him.
36:57The finish off the Dodgers at the
36:58top of the fifth.
36:59But the bottom of the order
37:00tees it up.
37:01Tucker and Edmond and they both
37:02cover the score.
37:04Dodgers doing the little things
37:05and taking advantage of when
37:07the brewers go.
37:19Tucker and Edmond hitting eight
37:21and nine for the Dodgers.
37:22reaching base.
37:23Coming in to score.
37:24Dodgers retake the lead.
37:25And Chris Bubich comes on to
37:27pitch on a day.
37:27John we're just about
37:28everybody's going to be needed
37:29down there on both sides.
37:30Yeah.
37:31This is Johnny bullpen the rest
37:33of the way.
37:36Both have the ability to shut
37:38the other team down.
37:39That's for sure.
37:40Jack Centurio.
37:41Or Bryce Duran beg your pardon
37:43takes a strike.
37:44Bubich his second outing of this
37:46postseason.
37:47He suffered the loss in the first
37:48one with a wild pitch against
37:50Atlanta.
37:51Game two of that series.
37:53All-star pitcher for the Kansas
37:54City Royals last year as a
37:56starter.
37:57Part of the deadline this year
37:58but the Dodgers even though he
37:59hadn't pitched most of the
38:00season with an injury got him
38:02ready to work out of the pen.
38:03And his second game to the playoffs
38:05right here.
38:07He's ahead of Terrain but Terrain's
38:09got to be thinking I got him
38:10right where I want him because
38:12twice today he was down 0-2.
38:14Came back the first time to
38:15double.
38:16And came back the second time to
38:18take a walk.
38:19Scored two of the three runs.
38:21And see why he's so tough on
38:22lefties the angle he creates.
38:31A little bit across his body.
38:35Long arm delivery and the ball
38:37jumps at home plate.
38:49Another one too.
38:51Spurs in for strike three.
38:52And Boobich strikes out Terrain for
38:54the first out of the fifth.
38:57Game summer is sponsored by AT&T.
39:00Back and forth compelling game
39:02with a lot going on.
39:03He had a great starting pitching
39:04matchup on paper coming in to
39:06Yamamoto with the shortest
39:07outing of his postseason career
39:09in the ballpark that he had the
39:10complete game last year goes
39:11just two and two thirds.
39:13Logan Henderson was really good
39:15from the mound but the throws
39:16that he made off of it.
39:18Not good.
39:19Two errors leading the two runs.
39:21Strike on Contreras.
39:28Contreras started the scoring
39:29for the Brewers back in the
39:30first.
39:34It's a high drive the deep center.
39:37Pahez going back.
39:38It is gone.
39:40And it's tied again.
39:42Contreras knew it.
40:13He's hit three of the five
40:15Milwaukee home runs in the
40:16playoffs.
40:35Now Jake Bowers.
40:38Punch counterpunch.
40:39This is.
40:42Every inning the Dodgers have
40:45scored the Brewers have come
40:46right back.
40:52And these eight runs right here.
40:54This match is the most runs
40:55scored.
40:56in a national league playoff game
40:58this year.
41:00Only halfway through it.
41:02Most depressed run scoring
41:04environment we've seen in a long
41:05time in the playoffs.
41:07Look out.
41:11The average.
41:13Per team.
41:14Three runs a game.
41:17Feels like a.
41:18Slugfest right here.
41:21To do what we've seen throughout
41:22the playoffs.
41:24All three on Bowers.
41:27Rock Stewart.
41:28Warman in the basketball.
41:29Can we look back at the home
41:30run from Contreras.
41:31Yeah.
41:31Any time you go to straight center
41:33and the center fielder doesn't
41:34look good.
41:35Meaning you're seeing his jersey
41:36that ball smoke.
41:38And that ball central cut.
41:40He knew it as soon as he hit it.
41:48Here goes Bowers again.
41:50Into a full count following it
41:52off.
41:52Longest that bad of his career
41:54both by pitches and by time.
41:56They don't keep track of that
41:57but pretty confident that.
41:58Yeah you're going to win that
41:59one.
42:00Unless there was.
42:01Injury to the pitcher and he's
42:03just.
42:03They counted that too.
42:06Although who knows back in
42:07those free pitch clock days
42:08where.
42:09At bats would go forever.
42:11Take laps around the mound.
42:17Here's a payoff.
42:19Three called two out.
42:51Two out base hit in that third
42:53inning.
42:53The chase.
42:54The chase.
42:55The chase.
42:55Yamamoto.
43:01Leads and a breaker fouls it off.
43:030 and 2.
43:21Well now.
43:26Dodgers have the heart of the
43:27order coming up.
43:28Oh Tony Smith in Muncie lefty
43:30Joe Joe Romero looks ready to pitch
43:32the inning.
43:35Yellow trades on the one.
43:37And it can't even jump.
43:57in the left center field and has
43:59his second hit of the ball game.
44:03team.
44:08Team leader is sponsored by Starlink.
44:11Pat Murphy talks about how much this
44:12guy cares.
44:14Christian Yelich came over in 2018
44:16in his ninth season signed that
44:18record contract and he said their
44:20way of showing Christian Yelich we
44:21see you we appreciate how much you
44:23care was to put that C on his
44:25chest.
44:25Make him the first captain in
44:27franchise history with a couple
44:28weeks left in the regular season.
44:30Yelich thought that the most
44:32important meaningful moment of his
44:34career.
44:37And he said it gave him a bit of a
44:38lift to.
44:39We're talking about how much he
44:40struggled this season and really
44:42search for that swing throughout.
44:44But to have that reminder that
44:45he meant that much to his
44:46teammates.
44:48Put a little wind in his sails.
44:52The one thing the Brewers do that's
44:55different than most obviously they
44:57can shuffle their roster and
44:58shuffle the deck and they've
44:59kept him as a marquee player.
45:01And now they've invested in some
45:03young players.
45:04But for the most part they have a
45:06window of six years that they
45:07keep their players and that's
45:09what's impressive about their
45:10winning over the last nine.
45:12Awesome.
45:14When Christian Yelich arrived the
45:16Bulls hadn't been to the
45:17playoffs in seven years.
45:18Won the MVP that first year
45:20took him to game seven of the
45:21championship series starting a
45:23string where they've been to
45:24the playoffs eight times in nine
45:26years.
45:26It'd be hard to find a more
45:28franchise shifting player.
45:30Yeah.
45:30In this era.
45:33Four pitch one to Mitchell.
45:35Yelich moves into scoring
45:36position as the go ahead run.
45:41And there's a good chance that's
45:43going to do it for Boobich.
45:44Stewart's ready with the right
45:45handed batting prep coming up
45:47and it will be Brock Stewart
45:48coming in.
45:50That path between dugout and the
45:53mound going to get trampled
45:54today.
45:54These managers having to call on
45:56just about everybody down in the
45:58pen.
45:59It's Contreras.
46:00He's got more than half of the
46:01home runs in these playoffs.
46:03He's not going to have to do
46:04runs today.
46:05Tied up again in game two.
46:17Your team your players baseball
46:19your way follow all the post
46:21season action in the MLB app
46:22one app for live baseball back
46:25here in Milwaukee where the
46:26Brewers have tied it up at four
46:28on a home run from Contreras
46:30and putting the pressure on
46:31here with two outs a single
46:32from Yelich a walk from
46:33Mitchell and it's brought
46:35Stewart on to face the rookie
46:36Pratt.
46:41Up and down regular season.
46:43A lot of injuries two games in
46:44the division series did not give
46:46up a hit.
46:53Talked about his ability to spin
46:55a breaking ball.
46:56About as good as it gets.
47:03But he's also hard to hit that
47:04four-seam fastball under 130
47:06batting average against.
47:10On a 1-0.
47:11Pratt bounces one towards the
47:13middle.
47:13Tommy Edmund there to cut it off.
47:14Tough throw to face.
47:16Tricks from Freeman late.
47:17Headlong dive and an
47:18infield hit.
