BRINGING MY OLD CHEVY SQUAREBODY FLATBED BACK TO LIFE!
In this video, I’m bringing my old Chevy Squarebody flatbed truck back to life and showing just how far this truck has come!
When I first got this truck, it was in absolutely terrible condition. The body was covered in dents, rust was taking over, the rear window was completely missing, and the entire truck looked like it had seen much better days. It was definitely a rough-looking work truck that needed some serious attention!
Instead of giving up on this old Squarebody, I decided to give it a second chance!
THE TRANSFORMATION:
I take you through the process of bringing this classic Chevy truck back to life with a light restoration, focusing on improving its appearance while keeping its original work-truck character.
Throughout the video, you’ll see the truck’s rough condition when I first got it and how it gradually transformed into something I could be proud of.
WHAT WAS DONE TO THE TRUCK:
* Bodywork to improve its rough appearance
* Fresh paint to give the truck a cleaner look
* New chrome pieces and exterior trim
* Cowl induction hood for a more aggressive appearance
* Exterior cleanup and cosmetic improvements
* Bringing an old, neglected work truck back into service
BUILT TO WORK, BUT KEPT CLEAN!
This wasn’t meant to be a perfect, showroom-quality restoration. My goal was to turn a neglected Chevy Squarebody flatbed into a presentable work machine.
After getting it cleaned up and back into shape, I put it right back to work! Even though it was being used as a working flatbed, I always made an effort to keep it clean and looking its best.
There’s something special about taking an old truck that most people would overlook and giving it another chance on the road.
