00:10Fights a go, and goes for four.
00:14Unbelievable timing.
00:16Look at this guy, they're almost over.
00:22Music
00:28Hello, welcome to the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
00:32It is the KFC presents Bank Alphala T20 Series Pakistan versus Sri Lanka second T20i.
00:42It is a round where you score quickly.
00:46At the toss, it was Sri Lanka who won it again.
00:50But this time around, they decided to have a field first.
00:56Fernando will get.
00:58Right, we're off.
01:04Angle across, it's down to third.
01:07It will be a single.
01:09Interesting that Fernando made his debut in T20i's.
01:16Backs away and drills it through the offside.
01:23Turned away.
01:24Nice timing.
01:24And almost.
01:28Dived over the top of it and that will go to the fence.
01:31Tashara not happy.
01:34Again, leg side with the swing.
01:38Timing's good.
01:39Fielding's better this time.
01:41Couple of runs.
01:44This time down the ground.
01:45Beautiful shot.
01:47Just met it with a full face and that has raced to the fence.
01:51Poker Zaman looks in good order.
01:54On the track.
01:56Oh, a chance.
01:58Ikshana diving away.
02:04This time he's just flipped that away.
02:10Slow one has gone high.
02:13Opportunity.
02:15Oh, shell.
02:19And he goes leg side.
02:21And gets one bounce.
02:25Boundary for Poker.
02:26The last time around.
02:28Beautifully struck.
02:30And in the gap.
02:32Four.
02:33To kick off the six over.
02:35That was very unfortunate.
02:37Oh, this is hit.
02:39Down the ground again.
02:40Keep an eye on the length.
02:43And he found that the ball was caught.
02:45Coming off quite nicely.
02:47Off his hand.
02:49Couple runs.
02:53Huge.
02:54But.
02:55Yes, I think it has cleared.
02:57Just.
02:58Just.
02:58That was very well caught.
03:00Excellent catch by that young man.
03:04And the fifties up.
03:05Catching it and making it look so easy.
03:08So Saib Zadar, this shot has earned him a lot of runs.
03:13Even in the previous game, he was able to hit sixes.
03:15Just look at this balance and this position.
03:18How he takes the ball.
03:19Perhaps showing a few players that this is the way to do it.
03:22So a lot has happened in his game.
03:24And this is Fakhar now.
03:26Flat, but there is a fielder.
03:27And he takes it cleanly this time.
03:30So Pakistan lose their first at 55.
03:34He was looking to charge.
03:37Just couldn't time it.
03:38Good catch, I'll tell you.
03:41Very, very good catch.
03:45Bakhar not happy with the option that he took.
03:49We can have a look.
03:50A closer one.
03:53Come back to it.
03:54That's 55 for one.
03:57Well again, pace off.
04:03Very safe shot.
04:05Straight over the bowlers said.
04:07Good fielding.
04:09The disciplines in the bowling.
04:12Ah, talk about that.
04:13You talk about not hitting sixes and fours.
04:17And the skipper answers in style.
04:21Because Farhan is in a different mood at the moment.
04:25Picking it up once again.
04:26Getting under it.
04:27Right out of the screws.
04:30Long way she went.
04:3394 meter.
04:34This was a six in any ground in the world.
04:38Slower.
04:40And he finds the middle of the bat.
04:42And it sails over the boundary for six more.
04:46And this is even bigger.
04:4896 meters this time around.
04:50So he is getting better.
04:52He was just waiting for you to tell that sixes have been missing tonight.
04:56And here he comes up with two and two.
04:58I know you're rubbing it in.
05:03Finds the gap on the offside.
05:06Opening up that area.
05:08So he'll stay on 49.
05:1017 of the over.
05:1276 for one.
05:15And now he is on 50.
05:18Only a single.
05:20And this is his 1250.
05:22In T20 internationals.
05:24Don't forget.
05:25He's already got 200s.
05:27So 200s plus 1250s.
05:32Oh this has slashed.
05:35And over point.
05:36Carries the distance.
05:37Another six.
05:38Look at how he extends it.
05:41Saw it early.
05:43Oh 71 meters.
05:44But beautifully executed.
05:50Over mid off.
05:51Six.
05:54Bounces away for four.
05:56Challenge four.
05:57Shanika.
05:58That's in the air.
06:00Should clear everything.
06:03Something very good in terms of potential and skill.
06:06Not afraid to dance down the track.
06:08And stay a slight leg side of the ball to bring that batting arc through.
06:12And hit it all the way.
06:14Over mid on for six.
06:15So Mars Sadakat.
06:17Who got a 29 ball half century in the first game.
06:23Pries to be funky.
06:24And it pays off.
06:25And has extremely well executed.
06:27To bring up the 100 for Pakistan.
06:29And once again in quick time.
06:3112 of the over.
06:32One and two for one.
06:37Slashed fine.
06:40He was always racing away and racing quick.
06:42And that brings up the 50 stand between the two as well.
06:49Fetch that.
06:51Fetch that from outside the boundary says Saibzada Farhan.
06:56Be in a good position to be able to execute that stroke.
07:00And that was made sure by Saibzada Farhan.
07:04Moved away from the off stump to be able.
07:11You said he likes to hit sixes.
07:13He surely does.
07:15Another one sails into the crowd.
07:17And now Mars also has three big hits.
07:21And made the job much more easier for the left hander.
07:25To get the desired result.
07:30Catch. Put down.
07:32Put down. Simple as you like.
07:34And that is the second one put down by Sri Lanka today.
07:41Just hung his hands out.
07:46He's asking.
07:47He's asking.
07:47He's asking question.
07:50Original decision not out.
07:52Landing outside leg.
07:55You are on screen now.
07:59That's up in the air.
08:01We'll take some catching.
08:02Three men coming together.
08:03And the ball.
08:05Finds the middle of all of them.
08:07A run out chance as well.
08:08Winter begging.
08:11Banged.
08:12And banged away for six.
08:14Straight into the commentary box.
08:15Probably took my head off.
08:17And the glass.
08:18We're all safe.
08:19We're okay.
08:21But that's another six too.
08:22Saibzada Farhan.
08:24Straight out of the screws.
08:26And didn't hang back.
08:29Hip and shoulder involved in that stroke.
08:32And that's why.
08:33It went a long way.
08:37Scared us.
08:38That's for sure.
08:43Get it fine.
08:46Could be a bit of a chase.
08:49And have a look as well.
08:50There should be a boundary check.
08:56Now looks like it's a boundary.
08:57Put it back.
08:58Not all forward.
09:01Gets two more.
09:05Up and over.
09:06This one.
09:07Should be taken.
09:08And is comfortably.
09:10The man who dropped him.
09:11Earlier on.
09:12Makes amends.
09:13But it has come.
09:14After a knock of 73.
09:15From the Pakistan captain.
09:17To get the right kind of force.
09:19Behind that delivery.
09:21Stroke.
09:23Wasn't able to do so.
09:24He must be a relief man.
09:27Looking anxiously.
09:29Oh please.
09:31Take that catch.
09:32Take that catch.
09:33And he did so.
09:35A hefty contribution.
09:36From the bat of Saab Zadha Farhan.
09:39He scored 73.
09:40Of 44 deliveries.
09:42143 for two.
09:44Thikshana.
09:46Down the ground.
09:49Has it got to descents?
09:50You bet it has.
09:53Kester's half century.
09:55In the utmost of style.
09:57Back to back.
09:59And hasn't it come.
10:01With some style attached to it.
10:05Three fours and four sixers.
10:09This time legs side.
10:12And sails over again.
10:16Thikshana just.
10:18Just back of a length.
10:20And look at how high it went.
10:22And with so much of power.
10:23Over.
10:25Outside the off-star.
10:27Makes no difference.
10:30Three sixes.
10:31In the over.
10:33So far.
10:35And that's easy for him.
10:37That's the length he loves.
10:41And really went the distance now.
10:45Short and wide outside the off-star.
10:47Chance.
10:49Almost.
10:53Diving forward.
10:57Stay still and trashes it down the ground.
11:01That is another maximum for Man Sadakat.
11:05Let's first take a look at this six.
11:07This is what spoiled that last over.
11:09But in terms of the dominance of the batters.
11:12In the first eight overs.
11:14There were 19 dots.
11:16And we are now into the 18th over.
11:19Which means.
11:2010 overs more.
11:22Just 15 dots.
11:26Short.
11:26Short.
11:27Shouts of catch it.
11:29But.
11:30He does well to save the boundary.
11:34Yes.
11:34This is Sabinro Fernando's strength.
11:38He says now Hasan Nawaz.
11:41Trying to get this over extra cover.
11:44And the catch is spilt.
11:46And it's gone over the rope.
11:48Yes.
11:49He had a lot of ground to cover no doubt.
11:52Cover to Mendes the fielder.
11:55Let's see.
11:57Was going away from him.
12:03Pulls it away leg side.
12:05It is in the gap.
12:06And there will be a boundary as well.
12:11A little lap shot.
12:13Which is going to the fence.
12:15Yet another boundary.
12:18Full toss.
12:21Maaz slashes that away.
12:23Pass point.
12:26This time leg side.
12:29It doesn't exactly go for six.
12:32But another four runs at it.
12:37The inside edge.
12:39This will.
12:41Get.
12:42Two runs for Maaz.
12:47Down the ground.
12:48Oh.
12:48Another miss field.
12:55Chipped away leg side.
12:57They'll want to.
12:58It is in a little pocket.
12:59So they'll come back.
13:03Oh.
13:05Slow outside the off stump.
13:07Get speed.
13:10Short.
13:11Into the offside.
13:12There is a chance.
13:14And taken.
13:16So the hundred not to be.
13:19But a fabulous, fabulous innings.
13:22From Maaz Sadaka.
13:24Last ball of the innings ends up in a wicket.
13:26A terrific final over from.
13:29Ishan Malinga.
13:31Spare a thought for Maaz Sadaka.
13:33That's the penultimate delivery.
13:35And this is that wicket.
13:37A little bit close to him.
13:39But again the ball didn't arrive.
13:41And Dasun Sanaka finally holding on to a catch.
13:46Considering that few catchers have been dropped.
13:52And a massive statement.
13:53In terms of their batting.
13:57Saibzada Farayan.
13:5973.
14:00Pukka 22.
14:01But Maaz Sadaka.
14:0296.
14:04Well the Sri Lankan fielders.
14:06Will be aware that these figures.
14:08Would have looked much better.
14:10Had they held on to those chances.
14:12We'll take a little breather.
14:14And when we come back.
14:16Sri Lanka will have to chase down.
14:18215.
14:19They need 216.
14:20To win off their 20.
14:22New ball in his hand.
14:24And he'll be definitely.
14:25Looking to swing the ball earlier.
14:30Sri Lanka required 216.
14:37Just a hint of shape.
14:38And a great single.
14:39To get off the mark.
14:40From Lahirodara.
14:4291 of 55.
14:43In that first T20 eye.
14:47Lovely.
14:48Lovely off the bat face.
14:50And nicely timed to the fence for four.
14:55They think they have a tickle.
14:57The keeper is excited.
14:58The bowler wants it.
15:00The umpire not interested.
15:02But it seems a very happy bunch from Pakistan.
15:06Yes.
15:06Just freeze it here.
15:06I can see there's a spike.
15:08When ball next to the.
15:09Gloves.
15:10You need to reverse your original decision.
15:11Not how to out.
15:12You are on screen now.
15:13A brilliant delivery by Salman Mirza.
15:18That is a short and a half.
15:21Oh.
15:26That short one set up quite nicely.
15:31Has come back in sharply.
15:33That is a really good delivery.
15:38Brilliant.
15:39That's been spanked again.
15:41To the boundary.
15:42So the youngster made of something.
15:46Great change up.
15:47Really good.
15:48In the previous match.
15:50Goal with a lot of control.
15:52And doing so.
15:53That's a chance.
15:55That is a chance.
15:58And.
15:59Facher takes it quite easily.
16:01Finally.
16:02And the youngster.
16:03After scoring 22.
16:05And tempted this.
16:06Wasn't successful.
16:08He has to take a walk back.
16:11Eyes peeled on the ball.
16:14He was never going to drop that.
16:1735 for 2.
16:21Finally.
16:23Managed to hit the ball in the air.
16:26But.
16:27Good effort by Saima Youb.
16:29Okay.
16:30Just freeze it here.
16:31Freeze it here.
16:31I can see the ball in the hand.
16:32And.
16:33Foot is contacting with the skeleton.
16:34It's a boundary 6.
16:36You got your wish Roshan.
16:38Not a boundary.
16:39It's a 6.
16:42That's good goal.
16:43Alright.
16:45The captain's gone.
16:46Slower ball.
16:47Wicket number 3.
16:50And Sri Lanka's trouble.
16:52Are getting worse.
16:55The captain after picking the line.
16:58Went after that one.
17:00No control.
17:03Pakistan is in control of this game.
17:05Is an ejubilant.
17:07Pakistani captain.
17:12Plans are successful.
17:14Kusal Mendez goes for 9.
17:15It's 48 for 3.
17:19Oh yes.
17:20He's got 2 in the over.
17:23He's dismissed the captain.
17:25And now Sahan Arachige.
17:27Perfect outswing.
17:30And that corridor.
17:32Couldn't have been better.
17:34For the new batter.
17:36Oh what a delivery that one.
17:39Squared him up.
17:41Had the batter playing the ball away from the body.
17:43And pushing at it.
17:46Only managed an edge.
17:47But a decent catch behind the stumps.
17:53That ball did a lot off the surface.
17:57Good usage of the seam.
17:59He goes without scoring.
18:02Sri Lanka in a strife with 49 for 4.
18:11And finally.
18:13A boundary after a while.
18:15We did have a 6.
18:17And then.
18:18There was a lull.
18:19And now the boundary.
18:22Oh that's a biggie.
18:24That is a biggie.
18:29Roshan.
18:29Aren't you impressed.
18:31With drove of people.
18:32From Pakistan.
18:33Saimiyu.
18:35Top edge.
18:36And another one.
18:39This is Shanika.
18:41Who now departs.
18:43This is the fifth.
18:45Wicket to fall.
18:46Trying to sweep one.
18:47The ball was just a touch shot.
18:50And in the end well taken.
18:53Drawer moving back.
18:54And keeping stable.
18:57Sri Lanka in tatters.
18:59Asun Shanika.
19:00The latest one to go.
19:02Nine.
19:02He scored up for eight.
19:03It's 64 for five.
19:07Make to pay.
19:08That is drilled down the ground.
19:10And that will be a boundary.
19:12Short ball.
19:13And dealt with.
19:17It's in the air.
19:19Chance off a wicket.
19:20And accepted.
19:22Hasan Nawaz.
19:23And long on.
19:24Shadab Khan.
19:25He gets a wicket.
19:26In his first over.
19:28And to get power through.
19:30And Hasan Nawaz.
19:32Is a safe.
19:33He's got a safe pair of hands.
19:35And he got it.
19:37Quite easily.
19:38Amindo Mendes.
19:3923 of 19.
19:40He got.
19:41It's six down for 74.
19:44Home soil.
19:45Short delivery.
19:47Tried to muscle this.
19:48Over long on.
19:50He's got to Hasan Nawaz.
19:51Who takes it.
19:52Very comfortably.
19:57Punched off the back foot.
19:58Timed nicely.
19:59There's a chase for the fielder.
20:00But he will not get there.
20:02Great cricket shot this.
20:06Nice.
20:07Poor delivery.
20:07And swept away.
20:08Swept away nicely.
20:10Your EV bike now.
20:15Slightly edgy.
20:16But that also.
20:17Goes to the fence.
20:19It's only even ones and twos.
20:23Or maybe I should have made that comment.
20:25A little while earlier.
20:26Would have loved to have won that.
20:29Hit hard.
20:31And high.
20:33And it's cleared the boundary.
20:35This is what I said about this young man.
20:38We will see the full package.
20:40In terms of potential.
20:44Yeah good strike.
20:49That's another one.
20:50That will go back to the dugout.
20:52For the crowd catch only.
20:54Thought for a second.
20:55It might have been a pump ball.
20:56But it's gone straight in the hands of Farhan.
21:01That is now.
21:04Seventh picket gone for Sri Lanka at 124.
21:0829.
21:09Four in a six and in innings for Vikram Asenge.
21:14And three wickets for Pakistan.
21:16124 for seven.
21:23Unless.
21:25Exceptional.
21:27The boundary.
21:28To Thichana.
21:37End of the contest.
21:39End of the contest.
21:39And end of the contest.
21:41By Pakistan.
21:42Winning with a mammoth.
21:4382 runs.
21:44Not just to win this match.
21:45But also clinched the series.
21:472-0.
21:48With one game to go.
21:50It's been clinical.
21:51It's been commanding.
21:52And it's been led well.
21:54By the bat of Saif Zadha Farhan.
21:56Firstly with the runs.
21:58Been well assisted by Mas Sadaqat.
22:01Who end up with 96.
22:02And the bowling contingent comes out.
22:05And cleans up.
22:06And restricts Sri Lanka to 133 for seven.
22:09It's a good day in the office with the men in green.
22:11And they win the series.
22:13And this game by 82 runs.
22:15There's a lot of work for Sri Lanka to do no doubt.
22:19Back to the drawing board.
22:21Obviously what is needed is seen.
22:23But it's just how you remedy them.
22:26That's the question.
22:27Because there are controllables.
22:29Fielding.
22:30Batting and bowling are all controllables.
22:32Because it's within your capacity.
22:36So those are the areas that unfortunately Sri Lanka has been found wanting.
22:41There was a bit of a stutter in that first game.
22:43And rather sorry in terms of the scorecard for Sri Lanka.
22:47There have been starts.
22:49Ikshan of course making 32.
22:50When it really didn't matter much.
22:53Vikram Asinga made 29.
22:55But look at the top border.
22:56That's the worry.
22:58Right up to Shanaka.
23:00Just two batters.
23:01Into double figures.
23:02And they too haven't gone beyond 20.
23:04Or 25.
23:05So that's an area of concern.
23:07Even in the last game.
23:08Only three batters got into double figures with extras.
23:12Well.
23:13Nothing more to add in terms of the bowling of Pakistan.
23:16They've been absolutely impressive with Imran.
23:203 for 11 with 14 dots.
23:22Being the standout performer.
23:23That would be my turn.
23:24Now we have to talk about the Alexandre.
23:24A lot of things.
