Victoria’s Opposition leader, Jess Wilson, is promising to revive technical colleges across Victoria. They would be delivered over the first two terms of a Coalition government if elected. Both major party leaders spent the day in the regions, with Ben Carroll promising a Western Australia inspired mining royalties’ program. As the ABC explains, it is a sign of just how important rural and regional voters are to the state election.

00:06Ben Carroll says he'll set aside all revenue from critical minerals for infrastructure in the regions.
00:13$500 million over the next four years.

01:31The Housing Industry Association welcomed the commitment, which will cost 220 million over eight years.
01:38So Victoria can develop more skilled workers.
01:41Labor, not so much.
01:43Liberals and Jess Wilson can never be trusted on education.
01:47You just can't trust this Labor government.
01:49Trust will be on the ballot.
