Tonight, we'll travel out to the lighthouse on Tern Point on a late October evening, where a quiet keeper and a visiting boy wait for an old island story to glow softly in the bay.

Rory has kept the light on Tern Point for eleven years. When Finn, the grandson of the keeper before him, steps off the supply boat to fetch an old tin box, Rory makes tea and listens to the island legend of the ghost lantern. At dusk the neighbours bring a peat each for the keeper's fire, and late that night Rory and Finn walk down to the shore to watch the bay glow. Nothing much happens. The leaves come down, the sea mist drifts in, and the fire burns low.

The story and the sleep affirmations take about 40 minutes, and gentle music plays on for about three hours in all, so there's no need to reach for your phone. At 11 minutes the screen fades to black, so the room stays dark while you sleep.
