A deep dive into viral videos that looked real but turned out to be staged, scripted, CGI, or heavily edited. From the GoPro at Burning Man and the Stormtrooper fall to the fake tornado selfie, the Kobe Bryant and LeBron James commercials, the pig rescuing a baby goat, Bigfoot, the Mortal Kombat elevator prank, and the most famous internet hoaxes, this commentary breaks down how people were fooled and why these clips spread so fast.

It also touches on classic fake YouTube moments like the golden eagle snatching a child, the shark in Sydney Harbor, the giant spider, the bear chase, the “greatest freakout ever,” and even public controversies around misleading content. The result is a fast-paced internet expose about fake viral videos, YouTube hoaxes, CGI tricks, prank videos, staged stunts, and old-school online deception.

Perfect for viewers searching for fake viral videos, YouTube hoaxes, staged prank compilations, CGI breakdowns, internet expose videos, and commentary on misleading clips. Ideal for fans of internet culture, reaction-style analysis, and the history of viral videos that fooled millions.

00:00If you can't tell by my face already, I'm actually in a very bad mood.
00:03And the reason is because I was just watching a video only to find out that it was actually fake.
00:07And I realized that this happens to me a lot.
00:09I'm always watching a video and then it turns out to be fabricated in some sense.
00:13And so what did I do to plot my revenge against these terrible people?
00:15Well, I compiled a list of every single viral video that you thought was real but is actually fake.
00:20That's right, so this video is going to be a complete expose so nobody gets duped again.
00:24So here we go.
00:25The title of this video says exactly what happens here,
00:27but this GoPro falls off a drone into the Burning Man dance floor.
00:30And then you'll see what happens.
00:31But just keep in mind this entire video is fake.
00:34So you think this is cool?
00:35Oh my gosh, it's a drone over the Burning Man festival.
00:37There's like tens of thousands of people there.
00:39And then you'll see all of a sudden something happened to it.
00:42It malfunctions.
00:42It goes down.
00:44Oh no, the GoPro gets hit off its drone, falls to the ground.
00:47And what do you know?
00:48Look what happens.
00:49People are walking by and this guy decides to pick it up and now he's vlogging.
00:53But guess what?
00:54This isn't actually as spontaneous as you think.
00:56This is a complete lie planned by GoPro
00:58because they wanted to basically talk about how shareable the GoPro is.
01:02How you could just pass it around, film whatever, and it all makes sense.
01:05So this entire thing was scripted.
01:06Could have fooled me.
01:07Another video that's actually uploaded by the same exact account, Terry Tufferson.
01:10So we're seeing a theme here, Terry.
01:12And it's Stormtrooper falls downstairs on the way to Star Wars premiere.
01:15Now you're probably thinking to yourself,
01:17okay, like obviously this is fake.
01:18Like why would they just happen to be recording at this moment?
01:21Well, maybe you should ask these 12 million people eight years ago who also believe this.
01:24Sometimes the best promotion is a staged one.
01:31I have to say that looks like it hurts though.
01:34And just like a true Stormtrooper, he prevails.
01:37I want to say he's a stunt double.
01:39Maybe that's why he's able to fall so gracefully,
01:41even though it didn't look super gracefully.
01:42But the point being, if you want to basically construct a viral video,
01:45you just need to sacrifice yourself.
01:47Don't do that.
01:47Another video that was fake, again, by Terry Tufferson.
01:5021 million views and it's crazy guy runs into the Outback Tornado to take a selfie.
01:55So I'm sure there's a lot of tornadoes that happen in the Outback.
01:59Any flat planes with a lot of dust, it's going to happen.
02:02And you know what?
02:02It's an Australian, so it makes sense that he would actually do this.
02:05And he gets closer and closer to it because he just wants to get a good selfie.
02:08Again, I don't advise doing this.
02:10There he is.
02:11Now, what would happen if you actually got caught in a tornado?
02:13It seems like he's flying.
02:14Is that like what we're supposed to believe here?
02:16Oh, so right now he's in the eye of the tornado,
02:18which I think is the safest spot.
02:20Or maybe that's the eye of the hurricane.
02:21All right.
02:22And then it's all passed.
02:23So he's good now.
02:24Fake video.
02:25All right, here we have a video.
02:25It's a short $250,000 car gets windshield smashed by kid on a skateboard.
02:30So you'll see a, I think that's a Lamborghini rolling up.
02:33And then the car is honking at somebody.
02:37And if you heard that thud, it's because he hit it with a skateboard.
02:40He's running away.
02:41And the Lamborghini has a crack in it now.
02:43So that kid got really upset.
02:44And then he put a massive hole into the car, into the windshield.
02:48But the good news is that the video is fake.
02:49This guy's car is okay because this entire thing was a skit.
02:52A lot of people may have seen this video, especially if you're Australian.
02:55But this is the hilarious reaction from boyfriend when lightning bolt hits in Sydney.
02:59Hey baby, slow down.
03:00Hey baby, slow down.
03:01I love the subtitles for Australians.
03:04Might be a top tier accent out there.
03:06Get on the rocks, baby.
03:07It's dangerous at the end.
03:11Oh my God, baby.
03:13The bloody Lord and the Lord just missed you.
03:16Holy bloody Mara God.
03:17Jesus.
03:18My God, baby.
03:19Come back.
03:20Now, I don't doubt that Australians talk like that.
03:22I'm pretty positive when they're upset.
03:24I mean, tell me if you're Australian watching this.
03:25This is almost certainly what you say.
03:27Like Americans will say or something.
03:29But then you guys will do all that stuff.
03:30But the video, it's, I mean, the lightning's fake.
03:33They're probably not even dating.
03:34Obviously, like, this guy's an actor and the subtitles kind of speak to it even further.
03:38This video's fake is the point being.
03:40But still pretty good.
03:41But don't be fooled.
03:42Now, this video has garnered 11.1 million views at the time of posting, which was about
03:4610 years ago.
03:47And it's Pig Rescues Baby Goat.
03:49Sounds like a very heartwarming video.
03:50You're probably thinking, how's that even possible?
03:52We'll take a look.
03:53So there's that baby goat, the poor thing.
03:55And then all of a sudden, we have a pig being pushing it to the shore.
03:58Look at that pig.
03:59Wonderful.
04:00And then they both escape together.
04:02Yeah, I mean, that pig's an absolute hero.
04:04You wouldn't think that a pig would jump into a water to save a baby goat.
04:07I feel like they're kind of competitors on the farm.
04:09But it turns out that this video was a fake.
04:11And it was done by Nathan Fielder for the show Nathan For You.
04:14Next up, we have a video of somebody capturing something as rare as a UFO.
04:17And that is Bigfoot.
04:18So this guy was snowboarding in the Pacific Northwest.
04:21I think near like Oregon.
04:22And they apparently caught Bigfoot.
04:24This is actually just a CGI video.
04:26All right.
04:26So right off the bat, we have shaky footage.
04:29Now we're going to take a peek into the forest here.
04:32All right.
04:33And then very grainy.
04:34But you do see some sort of bipedaled animal that is walking on two feet right there.
04:40Now that could be anything.
04:41That could be a guy in a Bigfoot costume.
04:43It could be a monkey.
04:44It could also just be a human, like a hairy human.
04:46I feel like people are discounting the fact that some people have that disease where they
04:49just become like super hairy people.
04:51So it could be any of that.
04:52But the point being, this video is fake.
04:54We don't know who it actually is in the video, but it's not Bigfoot.
04:56Unfortunately, I'm sorry.
04:57Next up is a popular video from the YouTuber FoozieTube.
05:00If you aren't aware of who he is, he's like a prankster.
05:02He also streams on Kick now, I believe.
05:04And you've probably seen clips of this exact thing we're about to watch.
05:06It's called the Mortal Kombat elevator prank in which people would come into the elevator.
05:10And then he would do a bunch of stuff.
05:11But the issue is that this video is not actually a prank.
05:14I wanted to believe this so much when I was younger, when I was watching this.
05:17I was like, oh, this is a really cool prank.
05:19So you'll see.
05:19And then the moment they shut the door, they realize they're trapped with an insane person.
05:27So every single one of these interactions is fake.
05:29Now he's going to be on the other side of it.
05:31The door is going to open and you'll see Foozie coming in hot.
05:36And obviously this is all fake.
05:37I have to say, some of these reactions are pretty good.
05:39I think Foozie himself acknowledged that this video was fake.
05:41And also like 90% of all other prank videos back in the day.
05:45Which is sad because you think these like cool social experiments were like legit.
05:48But unfortunately they're not.
05:49Sorry to ruin your childhood.
05:50All right, next up we have a video for an Aston Martin commercial from Kobe Bryant.
05:54And you've probably seen this before.
05:55It's pretty ridiculous.
05:56So there's Kobe.
05:57He's gearing up to do something incredible.
05:58If you haven't seen this, you're about to be shocked.
06:00And what is he getting ready for?
06:01Well, Kobe is getting ready to jump over the Aston Martin.
06:06And you're probably thinking it's believable because it's Kobe Bryant.
06:08Of course he could do it.
06:09But the issue, Kobe, is that it didn't actually happen.
06:12The whole video was CGI'd.
06:13I mean, he was on like a $40 million yearly contract with the NBA.
06:16Why would the Lakers allow him to do a stunt like this?
06:19And it's because it's not actually real.
06:20Now we could do some deep diving into the CGI behind this.
06:23Which I've always liked doing.
06:25Because I think as an investigator, it's worth doing.
06:27So as we could see here, the car.
06:30You're clipping two things together.
06:32And so what's happening here is that Kobe isn't actually jumping over the car.
06:36It's just like the way that the perception is occurring.
06:39Like he's probably behind or in front of the car.
06:42I don't know how it works exactly.
06:43But he's not actually jumping over the car is the point.
06:45So Kobe lied.
06:46So did Aston Martin.
06:47But I think it's meant to be like a lie.
06:49You know, I don't think that anybody believed it was real.
06:50And speaking of other basketball lies, LeBron James is also a liar.
06:53Because he participated in this commercial that is actually a fake video of him taking
06:57full court jump shots, making five in a row.
07:00I mean, look at that arc on that.
07:02He would have to have like the arm strength of like Randy Johnson to...
07:05Yeah, there we go.
07:06Bam.
07:09Another one.
07:11Another one.
07:11Back it up.
07:12Yeah, that's five in a row.
07:14You're probably thinking to yourself, of course that's fake.
07:16But a lot of people believed it back in the day.
07:17Sticking on the athlete theme, we have Evan Longoria.
07:20Used to be the third baseman for the Tampa Bay Rays.
07:22He's a really good player.
07:23And so there's this video that came out in which 21 million people believe this to be
07:27true.
07:27And it's him being interviewed by this reporter on the sideline.
07:30And then you'll see what happens.
07:31You know, it's been...
07:36So you'll see that this guy hits a foul ball.
07:40And Evan Longoria, using his Spider-Man instinct, catches it to save the reporter.
07:44Shakes off his hand and says, keep it on the field, guys.
07:47What a stud.
07:47Except it's fake.
07:48I think nowadays people recognize it's fake.
07:50But back then, I mean, even top comments here.
07:52His instincts, reaction speed, and pure skill just blows me away.
07:55That was awesome.
07:56This next video is called Mega Woosh Bruno Camaro Jumps.
07:59And this video has 7 million views.
08:01But again, 14 years ago, everybody was duped.
08:03So it's this guy with a massive slip and slide going down some like Irish mountain or something.
08:09Actually, he's definitely American.
08:10And there he goes, gaining a lot of velocity until he ultimately, and YouTube, by the way,
08:15this video is fake, launches into a pool.
08:18This video, I know that this was being replayed on ESPN Top 10 Plays.
08:22Like this was just, yeah, there we go.
08:23It's so unbelievable.
08:24I don't know how they did that, though.
08:25I guess he was already in there, and then they just CGI'd a body going through.
08:29Yeah, cheering him on.
08:30I don't know what's more fake, that or Kobe jumping over the Aston Martin.
08:33Now, whenever you see video quality that's this low, I mean, the video is likely to be fake.
08:36But again, this one came out, I think, 20 years ago.
08:39It was a very early video of a giant spider walking on the street.
08:43So there it is right there.
08:44Because they didn't have CGI back then.
08:45Like, there it is.
08:46A little spider.
08:47This guy even follows it up.
08:48Like, you'll see.
08:49I mean, it's definitely there.
08:50There's something there.
08:51There's a spider.
08:52Nobody's even, it's like, he's just a citizen of the country walking by.
08:55A lot of people speculate that it's a rat or that it was a little dog that somebody just
08:59photoshopped a bit smaller.
09:00If I saw that on the street, would I run?
09:01Maybe.
09:02I don't think once something's that big, you could just step on it.
09:04I feel like that'd be kind of rude.
09:05But that video is fake.
09:06I think it looks like it's happening maybe in the Netherlands.
09:09Shout out to my editor.
09:09And speaking of spiders, there's a realistic spider toy that people thought was a real spider.
09:14And it spits out this liquid poison.
09:16So you'll see right there, like, Spider-Man just putting a bunch of fluids in this AC,
09:21which is then going to be used to be breathed in by the people.
09:25So everyone's going to become Spider-Man, basically.
09:27I mean, of course this is fake.
09:28It's a toy.
09:29But a lot of people thought this was real.
09:30This person even says that this is computer animation.
09:33So it's not even a toy, which actually I think is a lot more logical.
09:36So I think even the proposed solution to this video was also fake.
09:40So everything's just fake.
09:42This next video has circulated quite a lot from a theme park in Korea.
09:45It's called Lotte World.
09:47And this one particular ride is called Gyro Drop.
09:50And you're going to see what it is.
09:51And you're going to be thanking God that this doesn't actually exist.
09:53But this was a fake video.
09:54Everybody used to think this was real.
09:55So keep your eye on the big one.
09:57See, it just expands dong, becomes even more massive.
10:00And at first it looks like a normal frogger ride, just spinning.
10:04Until that happens.
10:05Who in their right mind would want to go on a ride that does that?
10:09That's not even fun.
10:10That might be the least fun thing you could possibly engage with.
10:13A ride like that.
10:14I just want to know who's responsible for making that too.
10:16Because that's quite well done.
10:17I think it was a little fast.
10:18Like you could tell a little bit.
10:20And then it just defies all gravity and just free falls.
10:23And then it closes back up.
10:24So luckily that's fake.
10:26Next up we have the Iscarian Stairwell.
10:28I'm sure you've seen this video.
10:29Maybe you've seen an optical illusion of this kind.
10:31But just watch what happens.
10:33It's like a Harry Potter building.
10:34You'll see this has like the nine and three quarters theme to it.
10:37The stairwell designed by Filipino architect Raphael Nelson of Uganda.
10:41You can't do that.
10:42That's not how physics works.
10:43If you go up, you have to come down somehow.
10:46You can't just spawn two flights of stairs lower than what you climbed.
10:49It's just not.
10:49Unfortunately, that's not how it works.
10:50I wish it's how it worked, but it's not.
10:52Here's a video with 15 million views 13 years ago.
10:55And it's basically a man who decided to walk on water.
10:58Or better off, run on water.
10:59And so what they say is that if you run fast enough, you could basically avoid breaking the surface tension
11:04of water.
11:05And then you could basically just kind of like, you know, skirt across it like Jesus or Criss Angel.
11:09And here's the moment in which he ultimately, using his water repellent suit, does it.
11:15And he gets pretty far.
11:16And you're probably thinking, how is this possible?
11:18Well, he used a clear underwater platform in which he just suspended for the first couple of feet in the
11:24water.
11:24When you see him running here, there's a platform, platform, and then the platform drops off right around there.
11:29And that's when he falls in.
11:30And this guy's running a little bit to the right of it to then show people like, oh, he could
11:33do it and I can.
11:34So he knows how to do it.
11:35But reality is, he just didn't go on the platform.
11:38Feels good to expose these people.
11:39But this one is the most popular fake video of them all.
11:42And it's GoPro man fights off great white shark in the Sydney Harbor.
11:4544 million views.
11:47And it's in Australia, so I could see why people think this was legit.
11:49So here he is in the Sydney Harbor.
11:51Hello, mate.
11:52Gearing up, ready to go.
11:53Okay, so he takes a little cliff dive there.
11:55And while he's in the water in the Sydney Harbor, where there almost certainly would not be a shark,
12:00he goes underwater only to find a great white shark.
12:05And I mean, he's rightfully scared.
12:07I mean, I would be too.
12:08Like, what do you do in this situation?
12:10Well, he's Australian.
12:11And so the only thing to do if you're Australian when you encounter an animal like this is to fight
12:15back.
12:16So in true Australian man fashion, as the shark gets close, he basically scares it off.
12:21And then after scaring it off, he's able to escape to the shore unharmed.
12:24And as a viewer, you're thinking that you've just watched the craziest video of all time.
12:28Some man basically scaring off a great white shark.
12:30And then you think about it and you're like, well, why would there be great white sharks in the Sydney
12:33Harbor?
12:33And then you think about, oh, it's Terry Tufferson who uploaded this video.
12:37He's had some fake videos in the past, so he must be behind this.
12:41And he was.
12:42And we were all fooled.
12:43I actually lied to you because this video is the most popular fake video on the internet with 46 million
12:48views.
12:48And it's a golden eagle snatching a kid.
12:51I also find it funny that this video is age restricted as if this actually happened, but it didn't.
12:55So YouTube, if you're watching this, you guys have made a mistake because this is an animation, CGI in fact,
12:59done by three college kids.
13:00So there's the golden eagle taking the baby.
13:04And of course, the camera goes down at a very convenient time because they're probably doing some adjusting, putting the
13:08eagle in the sky now.
13:09I mean, luckily the baby was rescued too, so I guess that the dad ran over and snatched it from
13:13the eagle.
13:14So here's a little slow motion of this.
13:15It looks very real.
13:17So the eagle looks like it literally snatched up the baby.
13:19I mean, that's exactly how that would happen.
13:21And then with its talons, begins flying away.
13:23And then this guy, I mean, this is well done.
13:25I mean, I hope these people are now working for Marvel.
13:27Then the baby drops.
13:28Okay, so I thought the dad snatched it back, but the baby just dropped.
13:31Cool video, fake video.
13:32So here's a video that used to freak out a lot of people.
13:34And it's a robot walking in a driveway.
13:36And you can see it looks pretty real.
13:39Very like ex machina like.
13:41And he's just walking by.
13:42And so people, again, like the internet back then thought this was a real person, like a real robot.
13:46But it wasn't.
13:47Guess what it was?
13:48It was a person in a suit.
13:49But even so, it kind of doesn't look like a person because the thighs are too skinny.
13:53And like you can see like the outside of the hips, there's like a little bit of a hinge.
13:57So maybe there's a little bit of editing going on here.
13:59But it's not real.
14:00Of course it's not.
14:01Here's a video that everybody probably saw.
14:02And it's a GoPro footage.
14:03I mean, what else is new here?
14:04GoPro just seems to be faking a lot of footage.
14:06But it's a guy on a bike and then all of a sudden there's a bear that begins chasing him.
14:10Which isn't really how bears operate.
14:11I mean, bears are pretty timid.
14:13Not to say that you should like ever run away from a bear like this.
14:15But you'll see that the bear is just squarely behind him chasing him as he's on his bike.
14:19And the bear was just added in post-production.
14:21This one doesn't even have a crazy story to it.
14:23It's not like there's CGI done.
14:24The bear was just added in.
14:25The bear's not even in the frame most of the time.
14:27Getting closer and closer though.
14:28So this guy's getting a little nervous.
14:30I actually think the guy who shot this footage,
14:32He's not even looking back because he thinks that there's going to be a bear in post-production.
14:36I think he's actually just looking back to see if his friend is behind him, if I'm not mistaken.
14:40Here's a branch.
14:42Oh no.
14:43Now he's on foot.
14:44And oh, the one thing you shouldn't do is hide near a tree because bears can climb trees actually.
14:49And I'm sure that he's going to scare the bear away.
14:53And the bear turns around because this human lost him just by standing behind a tree.
14:57All right, so that's obviously fake.
14:59And nine years ago, somebody actually had to make a video why it is fake.
15:02So there was a whole expose on this by Kellogg Show Kids in which he's going into it.
15:07But I think this shot alone kind of shows us that it's fake.
15:09Looks like I was wrong again because the most popular staged video of all time is
15:13Greatest Freakout Ever from Waffle Pawn.
15:16It has 110 million views 14 years ago.
15:19Everybody's like aware of this video.
15:21You've seen it somehow, maybe in your dream.
15:23To give some lore on what's happening here, this guy's mom deleted his brother's World of Warcraft account.
15:29And so he caught him freaking out on camera.
15:30So he's about to come back into the room.
15:41Oh, hitting with the remote.
15:45It very much looks like a 13-year-old raging.
15:47Like this is what all 13-year-olds do.
15:53In fact, it's quite impressive he didn't punch a hole in his wall because that's usually the go-to for
15:57like 13-year-old boys.
15:58Okay, all of a sudden these boxers escalated quickly.
16:06He shuts the door then comes.
16:07When I found out this was fake, my life was ruined because this video did a lot for me.
16:12It made me realize that maybe it's not worth freaking out.
16:14Because if I look like that when I was younger freaking out, I mean, that's just embarrassing.
16:18Next up, we have ultimate batting practice.
16:20And just as an aside, whenever you see ultimate or like crazy in the title, you know that it's about
16:25to be faked.
16:257.5 million views 12 years ago.
16:28I think there's a common theme here with these videos being over 10-plus years old.
16:31Because we had no like video literacy back then.
16:33Everything we saw, we thought was like the coolest, realest thing ever.
16:36Check this out.
16:37All right.
16:37And also, whenever you hear check this out, you also know it's about to be fake.
16:40Here it goes.
16:41Some soft toss.
16:42Bam, bam, bam, bam, bam.
16:49I was definitely fooled by this when I first watched it.
16:52Even Shohei himself could not pull this off.
16:56It's also incredibly dangerous to be doing this without a helmet.
16:59Don't tell me he throws in another one.
17:01No way he throws in another one.
17:05That's ridiculous.
17:08I must say, the timing of the batter, though.
17:11Like he's swinging at probably the right time like when the ball in theory would be coming to him
17:18If I was a science teacher like this is how you show the law of motion
17:24That was sick that was sick I think that's real actually I want to believe that that's real
17:28My life's better when I believe that's real
17:29Here's a popular video from seven years ago with 18 million views and it's lion takes revenge on trophy hunters
17:35So you'll see these trophy hunters posing with a clearly CGI lion
17:39Unfortunately, they're hunting this for sport, which is quite sad to kill this animal without intent of eating it
17:44They just want to put the head on their mantle so they walk over to here. I mean it's stage
17:47So I guess they're not committing the worst crime in the world
17:49They're just doing a little bit of internetting and so after posing they're super happy, but look what happens
17:55You'll see another lion comes into frame
17:58To avenge and there's some screams that happen in the background some gunshots which we won't be playing because it
18:03is kind of graphic
18:04But I will say that at the end of that altercation the lion emerges which implies that the humans
18:10Didn't make it which makes you believe that the lion uploaded this YouTube video
18:14So Jaden Tanner is likely the name of some sub-saharan lion. So pretty cool
18:19This video is not fake, but it's one of my favorite videos on the internet
18:22Like this is actually just a brown bear that just came up to a guy and sat down
18:26So I feel like as we're going through all these fake videos
18:29It's worth noting a couple of the real ones like this actually happened
18:32I believe in alaska and you'll see it's just two different men of different species sitting down enjoying the scene
18:37You'll see this bear right now just has to take a seat. He just wants to chat. He's very cute
18:41It's insane that bears are bad because they look very cute and then at the end here. He gets up
18:46the bears like dude
18:47I just wanted to chill out nothing to this
18:49Alright sticking with the bear theme and we have this snowboarder who's getting ready to go down this mountain on
18:55her snowboard
18:55And you'll never believe what she runs into and then all of a sudden you'll see it's probably the same
19:00exact bear from that forest video
19:02And she doesn't even realize it but there's a bear going basically as fast as her
19:06I mean bears are fast, but I'm assuming you go much faster on a snowboard
19:09So there it is keeping up with her 15 million views seven years ago and a lot of people believe
19:13this
19:14In fact, it has a positive like to dislike ratio. So Kelly Murphy you've done fooled all of us and
19:19that's the end of that
19:20Now if you've been on YouTube long enough
19:21You've probably watched one of these primitive technology videos in which it's people just like constructing these
19:25massive architectural feats out of just using shovels basically
19:29It is unbelievable in a sense, but they make it seem as if they're building it from start to finish
19:34So you'll see they're starting off by digging a hole and then as we time lapse a bit further and
19:39we go to the end
19:40We end up having like these full structures like people are building like moats and everything with tunnels this and
19:45that only using primitive technology
19:47However, there have been a lot of exposés on this
19:50So i'm not the first by far to talk about this
19:52But they essentially use machinery and technology to do a bulk of the heavy lifting
19:57So 70 of what you see here is thought to be done by machinery
20:00So it's either digging via an excavator or having water and cement delivered to them on a truck or basically
20:07anything
20:07Regarding transporting resources is clearly done via a truck
20:11It's not like these things just kind of like minecraft pop up out of the ether
20:14And I think jeff5lee one year ago says it best. What a beautiful build. I bet they don't have a
20:19whole team to do this
20:20Yeah, so this is the worst part where they act like they're just foraging and just getting all their own
20:25Resources just by using like some hose and getting these like grass and this just this isn't how it's done
20:30So the point is all these videos are fake with the exception of a couple channels
20:33This next video is super fake, but it's called ape with ak-47 with a west african soldier
20:38Which is probably my favorite title of any video ever. This is 84 million views 13 years ago
20:43So take a look at this. So we have some west african soldiers. They have guns in their hands and
20:48they're approached by a
20:50chimpanzee
20:52And the chimpanzee gets hold of this gun and because they're very smart guess what he's gonna do with it
20:59I can't believe I believe this at one point it almost makes me upset questioning my intelligence. It's a cool
21:03video
21:04It look it kind of looks real looks like planet of the apes see then he just walks off
21:08So that video is fake if you can't tell it's cgi
21:10That's not a real monkey that came onto the scene and everything that you just watched is is fake now
21:14This next video set in germany is german ducks stop on red light and go on green lights
21:19I thought this was a very cute video when I watched it
21:22But to think that it's fake is really disappointing
21:24So we have these really cute ducks and they're literally just waiting for the light to turn green what great
21:28citizens
21:29Jesus seven was eight birds just a flock of ducks and they just waddle their way through it kind of
21:35looks you know a little cgi'd
21:36I also don't think they're ducks are they that kind of looks more like pigeons
21:39But yeah, unfortunately that video is fake despite it being uploaded by a verified german television youtube account
21:44So do not believe it all right
21:45So prior to deep fake technology actually becoming a thing there used to be attempts made particularly by buzzfeed in
21:51which they would deep fake obama
21:53So I want you to take a look at this and let me know if you think this is real
21:55We're entering an era in which our enemies can make it look like anyone is saying anything at any point
22:00in time
22:01I mean the voice is off a little bit for instance, they could have me say things like killmonger was
22:06right ben carson is in the sunken place
22:08Okay, I mean he's not moving like nothing's moving but his mouth
22:11So to me this looks super fake, but we're just uber exposed to deep fakes at this point
22:16Next up is one of my personal favorites and it's not from a youtuber or like a youtube video
22:20But it's actually from a police arrest of jussie smoulette. He was a star of this tv show empire. Don't
22:24worry
22:24I don't know what that is either and basically
22:26He just alleged that there was these two racists that came up to him put a noose around his neck
22:30and like beat him up
22:31Because I think he just wanted to like act like a victim or something
22:34But we don't have the actual video of the attack
22:35But there is some footage from the police cam and you'll see like what he's doing inside of his house
22:40So just keep in mind everything
22:41He said about the attack that happened to him was fake like he didn't get attacked whatsoever
22:45So right there we have jussie smoulette police body cam video capturing the embattled so he's keeping the noose around
22:51his neck the noose
22:52He's his attackers put around his neck
22:57So the way that he staged it is he got two of his friends to basically come in and like
23:02perpetrate the attack
23:03So it's obviously not like random racists that were doing it. I don't know what happened to him
23:07I feel like he got arrested. He should probably get arrested for that
23:09And I just think it's hilarious that he kept the noose around his neck because he wanted to show the
23:14officers how bad it was
23:15But it was fake another youtuber who's been accused of faking his content is air rack
23:18And now the issue with this is that the videos themselves aren't actually fake
23:22So everything you see here all of his challenges. He's very popular all these videos actually happened
23:26However in this video right here
23:28He talks about how he's going to have to delete his channel unless he uploads 30 consecutive videos over 30
23:34days
23:34Traveling across the world to reach mr
23:36Beast in times square or something like that a very fun concept
23:39I like personally when youtubers engage with these like sorts of challenges, but the issue with this starting december 1st
23:45I'm gonna be traveling around the entire globe uploading 30 videos in 30 days
23:49Did you catch that he said starting december 1st implying that there's going to be 30 days of filming starting
23:55on december 1st
23:56However, it turns out that all of these videos that you see on his channel leading up to this 30
24:01day sprint
24:01He did into january were all pre-recorded meaning some of these were recorded in september october november
24:07And he so he just uploaded videos in a row, but he didn't actually film 30 videos in 30 days
24:12And I know it's like not really big drama
24:14But a lot of people were upset with him because they were expecting some like ryan trahan level vlog thing
24:18in which every day
24:19He's actually doing something on like a daily vlog grind
24:22But all these videos were just pre-recorded and so people got, you know, I guess rightfully upset because he
24:26did kind of mislead his audience
24:27And I mean the series still it seems to be somewhat of a success, right? Got millions of views every
24:32single day
24:33So I mean good for him also not good for him because he got a lot of flack, but it
24:36is what it is cool
24:37And finally we have what is possibly the most viral fake video to ever be created
24:57I just want to say I played this as a joke
25:00I don't actually believe the moon landing was fake
25:02But after watching that that's the first time i'm really sitting down absorbing that footage
25:06I think that's the most valid conspiracy out there. All right, guys, that was a lot of fun
25:09Thank you so much for watching if you want to see more content make sure to click here click here
25:13Otherwise subscribe on your way out and I will see you next time. Peace
