00:00I've tested hundreds of shorts at this point to see if they actually work,
00:02but there is still one creator's videos who I still haven't put to the test.
00:06Sam Buchas, who happens to be me.
00:07And so today that will change because I'll be testing some of my most popular shorts and claims
00:11to see whether or not my videos are actually true.
00:13Are they actually educational and useful or just straight slot?
00:16I have no idea how this is going to go, but let's go ahead and test my videos.
00:19Okay, young Sam, what do we have for us?
00:21How to beat carnival games.
00:23So let's see if I'm lying or not.
00:24This is from a long time ago too.
00:25This is from like my first room.
00:26So this must have been like three years ago.
00:28Here's how you can beat every carnival game.
00:30Teach me, baby.
00:30Basketball games are a scam because they over inflate the balls and use smaller and higher hoops.
00:35So what do we do?
00:36Shoot the ball a bit higher than you originally think to give it a friendlier arc.
00:39Genius.
00:40That seems like it should work.
00:41All right.
00:42Well, if I said it, then it's probably true because I'm assuming I did my research before I told you
00:45that.
00:46So let's go ahead and test this out in real life and see if I can make the basketball shot
00:48at the carnival.
00:49Okay.
00:49So to account for the underinflated ball and then the shrunken rim,
00:52I'm going to have a corrected arc on this basketball game right here and see if I could win it
00:57using the Sambucha Lifehack way.
00:58Let's try it.
00:59All right.
00:59I got seven shots.
01:00Big arc here.
01:02Oh, let's go.
01:04First try.
01:07All right.
01:07Big arc.
01:17Can't do too much arc.
01:28Let's go U for YouTube.
01:30All right, y'all.
01:31Most expensive basketball ever, dude.
01:33$80 basketball right here.
01:34All right, guys.
01:34So we finally got the basketball.
01:36So it looks like that is the correct method.
01:38Just don't take it from me because I'm not the best shooter.
01:40All right.
01:40So far, so good.
01:41But let's see what else I said about carnival games.
01:43Lastly, for balloon darts, the balloons are always-
01:45Bring a laser, huh?
01:46Dips are pretty dull.
01:47So just literally throw the darts as hard as you can in various directions.
01:50I mean, I guess.
01:52So you're telling me, I'm telling me to just throw them as hard as I can.
01:56Surely that's not going to work, right?
01:58Because then I sacrifice accuracy.
01:59But maybe accuracy doesn't matter because there's a flurry of balloons.
02:02Interesting point, Sam.
02:03All right.
02:03Let's try that one.
02:04Okay, guys.
02:04I found the balloons.
02:05So the darts are dull and the balloons are underinflated.
02:07So I'm going to whip them in and hopefully I win.
02:09Hey, we got a professional over here.
02:12Hopefully.
02:13Watch him.
02:13He's good.
02:14Oh, pretty sharp.
02:15Pretty sharp.
02:15Okay, here we go.
02:18Oh, all right.
02:19The strat's working.
02:25Does that get something?
02:26Yes, sir.
02:27Let me get-
02:28Can I get this kung fu hamster?
02:31Thank you, sir.
02:32Appreciate it.
02:32All right.
02:32So it looks like Sambucha was not lying in that video.
02:35The way you win balloon darts is just chuck them.
02:37And you too can have a kung fu hamster.
02:39Okay, so what else do we have at the carnival, Sam?
02:41Milk bottle game.
02:42You want to aim right in the bottom center since the bottom glasses are usually a bit heavier.
02:46Hmm.
02:47Is that so?
02:48So aim at the center bottom.
02:50Okay.
02:50I don't think I've ever won one of those milk carton games.
02:53So hopefully Sambucha isn't lying to us and this actually works.
02:56Okay, we found the milk can toss.
02:57So we're going to implement Sambucha's strategy here to basically hit the center bottom and see if
03:01we can knock them all off.
03:02Seam sound.
03:03We'll see if it pays off.
03:04Oh, that's close.
03:04That looks easy.
03:05Got to knock all three off the bag.
03:06This feels too easy.
03:07There's a catch to this.
03:08Center, middle.
03:12Oh, no.
03:13All right.
03:13I see.
03:13I see.
03:15Okay.
03:15Okay.
03:17Oh.
03:18Wait a second.
03:19Wait a second.
03:20Oh.
03:23Is there a strategy to this?
03:24Get him in the middle.
03:25Get him in the middle?
03:26All right, let's do one more.
03:27All right.
03:27You break 100?
03:28Oh, yeah.
03:28I mean, yeah, you basically, I gave the change already for you.
03:32Can I get three for this one?
03:33A little bargain here?
03:34Ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah.
03:35All right, all right.
03:36Here we go.
03:37Oh, the score.
03:40Almost, almost, almost.
03:41Wait.
03:42That didn't matter.
03:43You got to go off the bag.
03:45Let's get it now.
03:46Let's get it.
03:47Oh.
03:49Don't give up now.
03:50I'm counting that as a win.
03:51I'm counting that for me.
03:52What about this for a throw?
03:54What?
03:55Get it.
03:56All right.
03:58I'm done.
03:59I'm out of here.
04:00All right.
04:02All right, guys.
04:02So I am considering that a win.
04:04Honestly, like, I got him off, and that's what matters.
04:06Okay.
04:06I'm pretty sure this is my most commented video, I'm pretty sure.
04:09There's 94,000 comments, so clearly this had a lot of interaction.
04:12But let's see if what I was doing is true or not.
04:14So it's called How Predictable Are You?
04:16I'm not going to lie.
04:17I forget everything in this video.
04:18So I'm just going to play along, and I'm going to see if this is good or not.
04:21All right.
04:21So I'm going to ask you a few easy questions meant to condition your brain,
04:24and at the very end, you have to answer the answer.
04:25All right, Sam.
04:26You know nothing.
04:27You were, like, 24 here.
04:3062.
04:32960.
04:33Not too bad, right?
04:33Some pretty easy math questions.
04:3470.
04:35Shut up, Sam.
04:3620.
04:38This one requires...
04:3942.
04:40So sorry about that.
04:41No, it doesn't.
04:424.
04:43All right.
04:432 more.
04:448.
04:45And last one.
04:478 plus 8.
04:48So now quickly think of a vegetable.
04:50Carrot.
04:51All right.
04:51Well, at least you guys didn't think of carrot, right?
05:01How did he know?
05:02Okay, that was crazy.
05:03Okay, I lied because I think this by far is the most popular short I've ever put out because
05:08this has 552,000 comments.
05:11Is that like a record on a short?
05:13I feel like it needs to be, right?
05:14But this is called Do You Have a Normal Mind?
05:15And I'm not kidding.
05:16I do not remember a single thing about this video.
05:18I've made 4,000 videos.
05:19This was like four years ago.
05:21So this was just like a random day in which I decided to make this.
05:24So I have no idea what's in this.
05:25Let's see if you have a normal mind.
05:27So I'm going to give you a series of instructions and questions, and you just have to answer them
05:30as quickly as possible.
05:31So here we go.
05:32So first up, think of a number between 1 and 10.
05:364.
05:36Got it?
05:37All right, cool.
05:37So now double that number.
05:398.
05:40Add 8.
05:4116.
05:42Divide that by 2.
05:448.
05:45And now subtract your original number from that number.
05:484.
05:49So whatever you're left with, now you want to take the corresponding letter in the alphabet.
05:53So if you're left with 1, for example, you're going to have A.
05:55If you have 2, you'll have B, and so on and so forth.
05:58So now choose a country that starts with that letter.
06:01Denmark.
06:02Dominican Republic.
06:04So now choose the next letter in the alphabet.
06:06So if you had A originally, this would now be B.
06:08If you had C, it would be D.
06:10So what, E?
06:11Animal that starts with that letter.
06:13Eel.
06:13Elephant.
06:14Great.
06:14So now you can choose the color of that animal, because there could be some variation.
06:18Gray.
06:19Awesome.
06:20So all done.
06:20So if you chose a gray elephant from Denmark, you may have a very normal mind.
06:31I'm not even trying to clip farm.
06:32I just, like, genuinely do not remember that video.
06:35How is that even possible?
06:36What did you guys get when you did that?
06:37Am I that much of a simpleton that I just chose?
06:40I should have just, like, tried to beat it.
06:41I was just being too honest with myself there.
06:43Wow.
06:44My brain is broken, so I guess it works.
06:46I mean, that short, I definitely predicted how normal your mind is right there, so I guess
06:50that's fun.
06:51But current Sam is very upset at Sam five years ago.
06:54It hurts the soul, I'm not gonna lie.
06:56But pretty cool.
06:56So it turns out I made another short on how to win every carnival game, and I do have
07:00a good track record so far, so I'm excited to see what I say for this one.
07:03I'm just giving people free prizes at this point, but let's see.
07:06How you can beat every carnival game.
07:08So when playing water guns, lean your gun as far as possible to shorten the distance
07:12between the target.
07:13Pull the trigger even before they say start so the water shoots immediately.
07:16Lean forward, click before they say start, and then just win.
07:19Seems easy enough.
07:19Let's see if I'm right.
07:20So as I noted in the squirt gun games, if you lean forward and then you press before they say
07:24go, you should win every single time.
07:25Let's go ahead and put that to the test.
07:27All right, so I'm gonna lean it forward and then press early.
07:29Okay, what number you on?
07:30Six.
07:30Got him.
07:31And seven.
07:32Got him.
07:32Here we go.
07:33At the sound of the bell.
07:35One, two, three.
07:37Race up.
07:38Oh, that did not work.
07:49Oh, young guys.
07:51Young blood.
07:52You got beat by the blogger.
07:55Oh, hey, yo.
07:57All right, guys.
07:58So I even got a really bad start, but it turns out the lean forward method and just like click
08:02early actually worked.
08:04And I played against two people fair and square.
08:06So you can definitely count on that method.
08:07All right, Sam.
08:07We are four for four with carnival game hacks.
08:09Let's see.
08:10Just like golf, the bell game is more so about accuracy than strength as the gauge is sensitive
08:15to precision.
08:15So you're telling me I shouldn't be hauling the hammer as hard as I can up there.
08:19All right.
08:19I mean, if I said it, hopefully it's true.
08:21Hey, guys.
08:21I found one of the most popular carnival games there is, which is the hammer hit.
08:25And as I stated, accuracy over strength.
08:27So I'm going to do one strong one, then one accurate one.
08:29And we're going to see whether or not it's actually true what I said.
08:32So first I'm going to do strength and then I'll do accuracy.
08:35So strength first.
08:38Oh, is that?
08:40Oh, nice.
08:41I won.
08:41Wait.
08:41Two more times.
08:42You want to?
08:42Okay.
08:43All right.
08:43Now I'll go accuracy, even though that was accurate.
08:48Wow.
08:49Hey, I'm just go to that.
08:49And one more I got.
08:51Okay.
08:54All right.
08:55I think I'm going to get one of these gummy bears.
08:57Can I get the green one?
08:58Awesome.
08:58All right.
08:58Thank you so much.
09:00So maybe I'm just like really good at that game or something, but strength and accuracy
09:04both yielded the same result three times in a row.
09:07So I guess listen to me because it did work.
09:08But if you're pretty strong and you just bam, get that thing up there, do that as well.
09:12And then I have one more carnival game formula.
09:14And this is going to be for ring toss.
09:17Diameters are often unfavorable.
09:18So when throwing, try to give an extra spin for maximum stabilization.
09:22Hmm.
09:23Okay.
09:23So ring toss, lots of spin.
09:25Seems easy enough.
09:26Let's see if that's true.
09:26Okay, guys.
09:27We are now at ring toss.
09:28So I'm going to try the strategy that I told you works by just spinning the ring.
09:31So I have my two baskets right here.
09:33Let's see if it works.
09:43Okay, guys.
09:44Since I've been losing, we have Angel and Christian here who are stepping in and hopefully they
09:48could win for us.
09:49Thank you both for your service as well.
09:50Appreciate y'all.
09:51And I actually think, wait, did you already get one on?
09:53I did, yeah.
09:54Bro, what?
09:54As we were introducing them, they literally got one on using the Sambucha spin method.
10:01Oh.
10:03Oh, does that count?
10:04Oh, please, please, please, please.
10:07Can we count it?
10:08Oh, my God.
10:09Yo, we need the VAR, dude.
10:11Okay, guys, so it looks like you are able to get an even crazier win by getting it stuck
10:14in between the bottles using that method.
10:16I'm not the best at ring toss, so I don't know if there's even a good method.
10:19It's a lot of luck.
10:20All right, so we already looked at how to win carnival games, and they actually ended up
10:23working, so good job to me.
10:24But then we also now have how to always win just normal common games that aren't carnival
10:28games like rock, paper, scissor and stuff.
10:30So let's see what I say here.
10:31For Pac-Man, the bottom of the map is notoriously tougher to clear.
10:34However, there's actually a safe spot located right here where you can infinitely sit to
10:38take a break.
10:39No way.
10:40For the rest of the map, this graphic outlines the difficulties.
10:42Wait, wait, wait, wait.
10:43You're telling me that in Pac-Man, there is a safe zone?
10:46I didn't remember making this.
10:48There's no way that's true, because that would be like the most OP strat ever.
10:52You just chill there.
10:52I am trying this right now.
10:53Let me boot up Pac-Man.
10:54All right, let's play.
10:55So I believe it was right here.
10:57So according to me, I won't get eaten.
10:59Like, they can't see me.
11:00I think I'm invisible or something.
11:02Look, my hands are off the button.
11:07Sam, Sam, Sam.
11:08Let me try to get like an original arcade game, though.
11:11Okay, so this is the OG now.
11:12This is the OG.
11:13This is what you would find in an arcade.
11:15Was I telling the truth?
11:16Maybe.
11:17Oh, I was.
11:18Wait.
11:20No way it actually works.
11:21I am effectively lost.
11:22I did not know there was a resting spot in Pac-Man.
11:25All right, so I mean, clearly this works.
11:27This is actually insane.
11:28You can't actually win, though, but it's a cool little resting point, because you can't
11:30pause Pac-Man.
11:31Can you like go back to it?
11:32So let's say I'm like, oh, here we go.
11:37All right, right.
11:38Like right now.
11:39Okay.
11:40So you can't abuse it, though.
11:41It seems like a one-time only sort of redemption, but very cool.
11:44All right, let's see what other advice I give on how to win some other games.
11:46And if anybody still plays Wordle, you should only start with Raise and Donut to eliminate
11:51the most popular vowels and consonants early.
11:53Raise and Donut.
11:54So you're telling me I'll win today's Wordle if I use Raise and Donut.
11:58Let's see.
11:58Now, it's been a little bit since I played Wordle, but I do think I'm able to win this
12:02even regardless of that.
12:03But we're going to start with Donut here.
12:05All right.
12:05Hey, that's a great start.
12:06We got O and T.
12:07We know their positions.
12:07And then I'll do Raise.
12:09And then I think we basically have four of the five letters, right?
12:13That's how that works.
12:13And so the S is probably going to be maybe early.
12:18Let's go with Point.
12:20Okay.
12:20So then we know it's P-O-X-I-T.
12:23So it must be Posit, to Posit something, like to think about something.
12:28Hey, I mean, it worked.
12:29Pretty quick overall.
12:29We got that in four tries and in like less than one minute.
12:33So I would say that that's true.
12:34That's actually really good Wordle advice.
12:35Start with Donut and then Raise.
12:37Good job, Sam.
12:37All right, the next video we're going to test is this one.
12:39How to fund your education.
12:41And it has millions of views.
12:43So a lot of people are interested in this.
12:44But let's see what I said and see whether or not it's true.
12:46If you're heading to college, in college right now,
12:48or even thinking about going back to school,
12:49you already know how fast the costs pile up.

12:55and all the other costs that can pop up out of nowhere.

13:40That's SoFi.com slash Sambucha.
13:42All right, thanks to SoFi for sponsoring this video,
13:44and let's test another Sambucha short.
13:50Okay, so this is one of my most popular videos across platforms,
13:53and it's how to hack fast food restaurants.
13:55So let's see what I say here,
13:56and then we'll go to these fast food establishments
13:58and see if it's true or not.
13:59Here's how you can hack fast food restaurants.
14:01Teach me, baby.
14:02We do this if it's not busy.
14:03True.
14:04Good disclaimer.
14:04How long the fries have been sitting out?
14:06Always.
14:07And they'll throw in a fresh batch.
14:09Afterward, you can just salt it yourself.
14:10Order the fries unsalted
14:12because they have to make you fresh ones
14:14because the default is salted.
14:15I like that.
14:16All right, what else we got?
14:17You can get a poor man's Big Mac
14:18by ordering McDouble with no ketchup and mustard
14:21and then adding lettuce and Big Mac sauce.
14:23You can also get a Big Mac with chicken.
14:25So I can get a poor man's Big Mac,
14:28which is going to be like a super cheap Big Mac,
14:31by doing the McDouble, take away the condiments
14:33and add lettuce and Big Mac sauce.
14:35It sounds genius.
14:36Will it work?
14:36Is it true?
14:37Does it even look like a Big Mac
14:38once you make those modifications?
14:40I'm here to test me out.
14:41Let's see.
14:41All right, guys,
14:42we are arriving at the McDonald's drive-thru now,
14:43so we're going to see
14:44if those fast food hacks
14:45that I mentioned actually work.
14:47Hopefully so.
14:47Can I have a large fry?
14:49Okay, one large fry.
14:50And then can I also do a large unsalted fry?
14:53Okay.
14:53And then can I do one Big Mac?
14:55One Big Mac.
14:56And then can I do a McDouble
14:57without ketchup and mustard?
14:59A McDouble with no ketchup, no mustard?
15:01Yeah, and then can you add lettuce
15:03and then a side of the Big Mac sauce?
15:05Okay, so you want me to add shredded lettuce
15:07and then Big Mac sauce, you said that?
15:08And then Big Mac sauce, yep.
15:09All right, will that be all?
15:11Yeah, that's everything.
15:12Well, they accepted everything so far,
15:14so now we're going to compare
15:15to see what the quality is
15:16of the unsalted versus salted fries
15:18to see if we got a fresh batch.
15:19And then we're going to see
15:20whether or not that McDouble Big Mac hack
15:21actually works.
15:22So they actually made us go
15:23from window one to window two,
15:25which means that they're putting together
15:26a larger order than usual.
15:27I think it's because it's being held up
15:28because of the unsalted fries that I ordered.
15:30So, so far, I'm thinking
15:31this Sambucha life hack actually works,
15:33but remains to be seen.
15:34A little bit of a time check.
15:35It's been about six, seven minutes now,
15:37and we're still waiting
15:38for presumably the unsalted fries.
15:40Oh, here we go.
15:41This is your food, right?
15:42Yep, that's everything.
15:43All right, thanks, man.
15:44Okay, the food has arrived,
15:45so let's go ahead and check this out
15:46and see if this Sambucha life hacks worked
15:48or if I was lying to you.
15:49This is the first McDonald's I've ever seen
15:51that has outdoor seating.
15:52If you have a McDonald's
15:53that has outdoor seating, let me know.
15:55Maybe it's a strange thing in New Jersey,
15:56maybe California or something has a bunch,
15:58but I've never seen this before.
15:59Okay, but now it's time to actually review
16:01whether or not we got ultra fresh fries.
16:03So they actually put the unsalted fries
16:05in a completely separate bag.
16:06So these are the unsalted fries,
16:08not super filled up, but take a look at them.
16:10Actually looks like some salt got on them,
16:11but these things are piping hot.
16:13Give that a feel, guys.
16:15And then here we have our salted fries,
16:17which are just the run-of-the-mill normal fries.
16:19You'll see all the salt on them.
16:20Give them a feel here.
16:22Significantly colder.
16:22I would argue like room temperature.
16:24Here, give it a feel, guys.
16:25Here, feel it just to confirm.
16:26I'm not lying about that, right?
16:28So the unsalted fries are absolutely significantly hotter.
16:32And then taste-wise, that is as fresh as can be.
16:35Then let me get a fresh salted fry.
16:37A little bit of heat lamb.
16:38I'm not gonna lie, it's not the freshest fry.
16:40It's still good for McDonald's standard,
16:42but these fries are significantly fresher.
16:43So it is a legitimate hack.
16:45And if you do want some salt,
16:46just get a salt packet and sprinkle it on.
16:47All right, good job, Sam.
16:48One for one.
16:49Now, this hack is what I'm actually excited about.
16:51So we have the Big Mac here,
16:52and this was $6.89.
16:54And then we have our modified McDouble,
16:56which is basically a Big Mac.
16:57And this thing was $2.59,
16:59but then also $0.25 for the Big Mac sauce.
17:01So in total, this thing was $2.84,
17:04which is nearly one-third of the cost of the Big Mac.
17:06So if the quality is the same,
17:08this would be a great hack for you guys.
17:09So first, we have our standard Big Mac sesame seed bun.
17:13You got the three buns, double burger, pickles,
17:15Big Mac sauce, all that.
17:17Looks pretty standard.
17:18And then per the Sambucha short,
17:19this is the Big Mac hack to get a much cheaper one.
17:24All right, definitely looks a lot sadder.
17:27Let's go ahead and open this up.
17:28So we do have two patties, cheese between one of them.
17:32So there's one less slice of cheese,
17:34but otherwise we do have the shredded lettuce
17:35and the Big Mac sauce.
17:36Notably what's missing though,
17:37is this central piece of bun,
17:39which really fluffs up the Big Mac.
17:41And then also the seeded bun.
17:43Notice the Big Mac sauce is so overpowering always
17:46that like anything you put Big Mac sauce on
17:48tastes like a Big Mac immediately
17:49because it's so iconic.
17:52I'm not going to lie.
17:53They taste identical.
17:54So I'm going to go ahead and say
17:55that the Sambucha McDonald's fast food hacks
17:57are 100% legit.
17:59And you should follow slash subscribe to Sambucha
18:01because he's not lying.
18:02Cool creator.
18:03I should have subscribed earlier.
18:04All right, we have another one.
18:05How to always win these games.
18:06Wow, I'm really just dishing out
18:07all the cheat codes on how to win games.
18:09And they have worked great so far.
18:11So I'm excited to see what else I say.
18:12Let's win these common games.
18:14To win tic-tac-toe,
18:15try to go first
18:16and put your marking in the corner.
18:18Don't go middle.
18:19Then you have a free path to victory.
18:21Okay, so corner first and tic-tac-toe.
18:23Let me go ahead and play a bot.
18:24All right, so I'm playing Google right now.
18:26So I'm going to start the game.
18:26I'll be X.
18:28X.
18:28Oh, so now I should have a clear path to victory, right?
18:31Bam, bam.
18:33Hey, I was right.
18:34If you go first and tic-tac-toe, you can't lose.
18:37So that's a pretty well-known thing.
18:38So I'm not going to take credit for it
18:39for teaching anybody that.
18:40But let's see what else I have to say.
18:41To win a coin toss,
18:42if you're spinning it on the table,
18:43choose heads
18:44because it's actually slightly heavier than tails
18:46and wins 51% of the time.
18:4851% of the time?
18:49Flipping it, though,
18:50choose the side that's face down
18:51before the flip takes place.
18:53It will likely land on the same way it's flipped,
18:55but people are going to put it on their hand afterwards.
18:57Interesting.
18:58Well, I actually have a quarter right here,
19:00and so I'm going to run a couple of simulations
19:03and show you if this is true or not.
19:04So we're starting on heads right now,
19:06just so you guys can see it,
19:07and tails is on the bottom.
19:08And so since I'm going to put it on my hand
19:10after I flip it off my thumb,
19:11I'm going to say tails,
19:12and this should work.
19:13All right, here we go.
19:17Tails.
19:18Tails.
19:18Okay, that's one for one.
19:19Now I have heads on the bottom here.
19:24Heads.
19:24Hold on.
19:25Two for two.
19:25Now I'm going to...
19:27Let's put heads on the bottom again,
19:28so I'm going for heads.
19:31Okay, we got a loss finally.
19:32That's tails.
19:33Bottom is heads.
19:34Let's go heads.
19:36Heads again.
19:37So I'm three for one right now.
19:38Heads is on the bottom.
19:41Tails.
19:41Tails is on the bottom.
19:44Tails again.
19:45Four for two.
19:46I'll run this ten times.
19:47Heads.
19:50Heads.
19:50Tails.
19:53Heads.
19:56Tails.
19:5980% success rate.
20:01And I ran ten simulations.
20:03And I know that's like, oh, possible and stuff,
20:05but that is still pretty low likelihood
20:07that I did eight of ten
20:08in the direction that I thought it would go.
20:10I mean, that is just not probabilistic mathematically.
20:12And so with that said,
20:13I mean, I think it's safe to say that that is true.
20:15And then that man said that if you're going to spin it, though,
20:17you're better off choosing heads
20:18because it has a slight edge
20:20because it's a little bit heavier.
20:21So I'm spinning it.
20:22See the result.
20:25So you guys could see.
20:27Flip it to you.
20:30Heads.
20:31All right.
20:31You're not lying, Sam.
20:33Good job.
20:33Okay, Sam, what do we have?
20:34How to improve your mood in 20 seconds.
20:36Okay, we can do this live together right now.
20:38Let's see whether or not this works.
20:39How to improve your mood in just 20 seconds.
20:41I'm feeling a little down.
20:42Try this because it's backed by science
20:43and it can really improve your day.
20:45Backed by science?
20:46First, you're going to want to relax your tongue
20:47to the bottom of your mouth
20:48because it's probably tensed up
20:49towards the roof of your mouth right now.
20:51So take a second to do that.
20:54Like that, put your shoulders back
20:55and your chest out
20:56so you can open up the sternum,
20:57which is going to be extremely important.
20:59Okay.
21:00Now you're going to force a giant smile on your face
21:02for the next five seconds,
21:03even if it looks dumb.
21:04Just do it.
21:05It will work.
21:05I promise.
21:07Great.
21:08Love the smile.
21:09While you're finishing that up,
21:10take your hands and put them
21:11in a butterfly motion like so
21:13and hold them against your chest
21:14and then slowly start alternating.
21:18Cool.
21:18And now to finish it off,
21:19take a deep breath in for three seconds.
21:21You could go ahead and follow the prompt
21:24and now exhale it for three seconds.
21:28And then bam, you should feel a lot better.
21:30I'm not going to lie.
21:31I'm not even joking.
21:32I feel better.
21:33Something about that deep breath
21:34and just sort of like putting my shoulders back,
21:36that alone worked.
21:37So I actually improved my mood.
21:39Sambucha is not a liar.
21:40Make sure you subscribe.
21:41Very cool.
21:42Okay, so this video across platforms
21:43is actually one of my most popular videos ever put out.
21:46I think it has like 100 million plus views
21:47across all the different social media sites
21:49and it's how to fall asleep in just one minute.
21:51So let's see what I say
21:52and let's see if it works.
21:53Right now I'm wide awake.
21:54There's lights on me and everything.
21:56I'm being recorded.
21:57So if I could sleep from this,
21:58then you know that it's true.
21:59And if it's late night
21:59and you guys are watching right now,
22:01maybe on background noise
22:02and you're about to fall asleep,
22:02in which case,
22:03hello there.
22:04Thank you for putting me on late at night.
22:05Hopefully you have an amazing sleep.
22:06All right, here we go.
22:07This is how you can fall asleep in just one minute.
22:09It's called the 478 method.
22:11So you're going to want to start
22:12by getting in a comfortable position.
22:13So get set.
22:15Great.
22:16Now start by breathing in through your nose
22:18for four seconds.
22:22Now hold your breath for seven seconds.
22:30And then let out a massive exhale for eight seconds.
22:39If you repeat this method a few times,
22:41then you should fall asleep within minutes.
22:43So good luck.
22:43Do you guys feel drowsy from that?
22:45I've definitely slowed down my heart rate.
22:48Like I feel like I'm certainly getting more tired
22:51relative to where I was,
22:52but I wouldn't say I'm tired.
22:54But to be fair,
22:54I did say you have to repeat this over and over again.
22:56But then again,
22:57I click baited because I said in one minute.
22:58So in a sense,
22:59I was kind of lying,
23:00but it does directionally help you
23:02with getting to sleep faster.
23:03And I'm very relaxed right now.
23:05I mean,
23:05look at my posture and stuff.
23:06Like this is just normal to me.
23:07The cadence of my voice at this point,
23:09I'm very like settled into the night
23:10and I have bright lights on me.
23:11So I'm going to go ahead and say,
23:12hey,
23:12dock me for it.
23:13But I think that is absolutely true.
23:15I think Sambucha is not lying there.
23:17I think that short does hold up.
23:18You could probably fall asleep using that method.
23:20I think like military uses that.
23:22All right,
23:22let me know if it'll work for you guys.
23:23If you're still even watching,
23:24you might be fast asleep right now.
23:25And if that's the case,
23:26then enjoy your sleep.
23:27I'll see you in the morning.
23:28Okay.
23:28I think this video is from like 2019.
23:30I made this.
23:31I don't know when I posted on YouTube,
23:32but this is if you smile at this video,
23:34you have to subscribe.
23:35So let's go ahead and play along with that.
23:37You know,
23:37this is some old subscriber bait,
23:39but if you do smile at this video,
23:41you have to subscribe.
23:42I said so like old me said so,
23:43but current me too.
23:44All right,
23:44let's see if they could bust open my stone cold heart.
23:47Video is apparently impossible not to smile at.
23:50So let's see.
23:55I'm sorry.
24:14I'm sorry.
24:15All right.
24:15Give us nothing,
24:16Sam.
24:17That was an absolute waste of a watch,
24:18but I didn't smile at that video.
24:20So I guess it wasn't a claim made.
24:21I didn't say it's impossible.
24:23This video is apparently impossible not to smile.
24:26I did hedge by saying apparently impossible.
24:28Like somebody alleged that it's impossible.
24:30Hey,
24:30regardless,
24:31I had some fun.
24:32Let's see what the comments say here.
24:33Him.
24:33This video is impossible not to smile at.
24:35Everybody,
24:35including him doesn't smile.
24:37All right.
24:37Let me know if you guys smiled.
24:38Okay.
24:38Here we have a video titled.
24:40I drew a perfect circle.
24:42All right,
24:42Sam.
24:42Perfect circle.
24:43Apparently it's impossible to do by hand
24:45because the human brain doesn't have the precision
24:47or the resources to do so.
24:49That's true.
24:50So I took this as a personal challenge.
24:51I headed to this cool website that tracks your progress towards perfection.
24:55And I began.
24:56It didn't start off so great.
24:57And I was getting really frustrated because I couldn't even break 90%.
25:01So naturally,
25:01I looked up some techniques online,
25:03like using your rotator cuff or locking your wrist in place.
25:06But none of these.
25:06That makes sense.
25:07Working.
25:07I managed to get into the low 90s after trying for about an hour,
25:10but I was determined to get at least 96% so I could feel somewhat good about my efforts.
25:15I kept failing and failing and I got really close,
25:18but I just couldn't seem to do it.
25:20I felt defeated.
25:21So I called it quits and just accepted my fate.
25:24Until the next day when I give it one last try.
25:27All right.
25:27That's when this happened.
25:29The full video is up now,
25:31but that's how I attempted to draw a perfect circle.
25:33Well,
25:34I would unsubscribe for me if I saw this video because I like left the cliffhanger and I said,
25:38watch the full video.
25:39But with that said,
25:39let me go ahead and see if I still got it.
25:41And if I'm able to draw a 96% perfect circle.
25:44All right.
25:44Draw a perfect circle.
25:45Can you draw a perfect circle?
25:46All right.
25:46Let me clear out my space here.
25:48First attempt.
25:49Haven't done this in years.
25:53It's already kind of magic right there.
25:55A little bit of movie magic.
25:56We're going for what?
25:5796%.
25:58I feel like the smaller,
25:59the better because there's like less movement.
26:0192.6.
26:02Good radio station.
26:03Come on,
26:03baby.
26:0493.1.
26:05High score after high score.
26:0793.7.
26:08All right.
26:08We're inching up.
26:09We're inching up.
26:09Can we get to 96?
26:1194.4.
26:12Great radio station.
26:1496.
26:1496.
26:1596.
26:22I'll take it.
26:22That took me,
26:23I think a minute or so.
26:25So all things considered,
26:26that was better than my attempts five years ago,
26:28which is great.
26:28I'm leveling up.
26:29Okay.
26:29Here I made a video.
26:30Things AI is not allowed to answer.
26:33So let's see what I said here.
26:33AI to use clinical language
26:35or to even subtly imply that it's a medical.
26:37Okay.
26:37So are you a doctor?
26:38Are you a doctor?
26:40What does it say?
26:41No,
26:41I'm not a doctor and I can't diagnose conditions
26:43or replace medical care.
26:45All right.
26:45So that seems to stand up.
26:46So that's true.
26:47It states is also not able to give.
26:48What is my social score?
26:49Oh,
26:50I'm definitely going to bait it to give me that,
26:52right?
26:52What is my social score?
26:55Wait,
26:55what?
26:56They gave me an 8.8 out of 10.
26:58Social awareness,
26:599.5.
27:01Communication,
27:019.
27:02Confidence,
27:039.5.
27:03Empathy,
27:048.
27:04How does ChatGPT know anything about my empathy levels?
27:07All right.
27:08Well,
27:08that's debunked quickly.
27:09So clearly you are able to ask it for a social score.
27:12So let me know what your social scores are.
27:13But with that said,
27:14I think Sam Booch is a liar.
27:15He was lying about that video.
27:17It's not true.
27:17All right,
27:17Sam,
27:17what do we have here?
27:18So how to burn 100 calories.
27:20All right.
27:21Let's see what I say.
27:21And then we'll test this out.
27:22Calories.
27:23So do any of these things 35 times
27:25and you should lose a pound of body fat.
27:27All right.
27:28All right.
27:28Of course,
27:28run for 10 minutes or just walk for 20.
27:31If you're feeling productive,
27:32go clean something for 30 minutes.
27:34Okay.
27:34That's kind of interesting.
27:35So you could clean for 30 minutes.
27:36I don't want to clean though.
27:37So I'm not going to test that.
27:38While you're getting ready for your partner,
27:40applying chapstick,
27:41applying chapstick 500 times.
27:43Wait,
27:43wait,
27:43wait,
27:43wait.
27:44There's no way that applying chapstick 500 times
27:47is going to burn 100 calories.
27:49Cause you could basically run for 10 minutes
27:51and burn 100 calories.
27:52And I'm pretty sure in sub 10 minutes,
27:54you can apply 500 calories.
27:55Which implies that applying chapstick 500 times
27:58is actually more calorically efficient
28:00than running for 10 minutes,
28:01which is obviously false.
28:02I think Sam Butch is making a false claim here.
28:04So let me go ahead and apply chapstick 500 times
28:06and see if I burn 100 calories.
28:08I'm not feeling optimistic about this one.
28:09I think I'm lying,
28:10but I will try it for science.
28:12All right.
28:12Where's my chapstick at?
28:13Because my lips are about to be moist.
28:15Okay guys,
28:15is it true what I said
28:17that if you apply chapstick 500 times,
28:19you'll burn 100 calories?
28:21So I have my Fitbit on right here.
28:22So I'm going to track
28:23the amount of calories I burn
28:24starting now.
28:26Okay, here we go.
28:31So every five,
28:32I should burn a calorie.
28:35I'm going to have like
28:36the most luscious moist lips
28:37in all of the land.
28:38Hurry.
28:39So this is 100.
28:42So I should be at 20 calories.
28:43Oh, let's go.
28:44It's actually perfect so far.
28:45Okay.
28:45So it's one calorie
28:46per five applications right now.
28:48So I have to keep this up
28:49for 400 more.
28:53Five,
28:54four,
28:55three,
28:57two,
28:58one.
29:00Oh my gosh.
29:02Final check-in.
29:03Whoa,
29:05107 calories
29:06over 10 minutes
29:07I burned
29:08from just applying chapstick.
29:10Wow.
29:10I was not lying.
29:11I guess I was lying,
29:12but you can actually burn
29:13more calories than that
29:14just by applying 500 times.
29:15I mean,
29:16you guys saw it, right?
29:17Stats don't lie.
29:17I burned over 100 calories
29:19just from applying chapstick.
29:20Good to know.
29:20You can trust your favorite creator.
29:22Okay.
29:22How else can we burn 100 calories?
29:24Lazy.
29:24You only have to watch
29:25two episodes of a funny show
29:26to burn 100 calories.
29:28Is that so?
29:29Two episodes of a funny TV show
29:31and you burn 100 calories?
29:32How does that make sense?
29:33Because if you watch TV
29:34for 24 hours,
29:35assuming a 30 minute show each,
29:36that means you'll burn
29:374,800 calories
29:38in a single 24 hour session
29:40of just binge watching
29:41Family Guy or something.
29:42That is an insane cheat code.
29:44I mean,
29:44I guess it's assuming
29:45you're not eating
29:45or anything as well,
29:46but I'm down to watch
29:47an episode of TV or two
29:48to see if I lose 100 calories.
29:49This is gonna be
29:50a huge unlock for people.
29:51This might be the new Pilates.
29:52All right, let's try it.
29:53So according to me,
29:53if you watch two episodes
29:55of a funny show,
29:56I guess from all the laughing
29:57and stuff and being entertained,
29:58you'll burn 100 calories.
29:59So what I'm going to do
30:00is I'm going to put on
30:0243 minutes
30:03of Family Guy's
30:04funniest moments.
30:05So an even higher density
30:06of jokes per minute
30:08and I should be burning
30:08probably over 100 calories.
30:10So I'm gonna lock in on this
30:11and watch some Family Guy
30:12and we'll see what happens.
30:14Okay,
30:14and so we begin.
30:15I am at zero calories.
30:17Yeah.
30:18Oh God,
30:19this is embarrassing.
30:20I'm so sorry.
30:21It's been like 500 years.
30:23Oh,
30:24this is your big moment
30:25and I'm ruining it.
30:30Please make sure
30:31to bang your head
30:31on that low-hanging thing.
30:33What are you?
30:35All right,
30:36here's 40 blown by the wind.
30:38This is every food truck.
30:42Let's check in.
30:43Two minutes in,
30:44let's go ahead and check.
30:46Whoa,
30:46I've burned nine calories already?
30:48Dang,
30:48I'm tracking for 200 calories
30:49from Family Guy belly laugh.
30:51A few moments later.
30:5220 minutes or so,
30:5421 minutes.
30:54Coming up.
30:56What a mile.
30:56100 calories.
30:58Wait a second.
30:58I'm only halfway
30:59through this compilation.
31:00I've been laughing
31:01a good amount.
31:02There's some stuff
31:02we had to cut
31:03because a lot of
31:03the Family Guy stuff
31:04is pretty crude,
31:04but I've been laughing a lot.
31:06To my surprise,
31:07you only have to watch
31:07basically one episode,
31:09not two.
31:10But I guess in this case,
31:11the density was higher,
31:11so in a way,
31:12I'm kind of watching
31:13two episodes at once.
31:14I hate to say it,
31:15I wasn't lying.
31:15You could just watch
31:16Family Guy and burn calories.
31:17Well, I guess I confirmed
31:18that you can just watch TV
31:20to burn calories.
31:21At least a funny show
31:22because you're laughing
31:22a little bit.
31:23But pretty cool.
31:23Was not expecting that,
31:24honestly.
31:24All right,
31:25give me one more
31:25interesting way
31:26to burn 100 calories.
31:27Drinking 10 glasses
31:28of water will do it
31:29as well as actually
31:30eating for an hour.
31:31Wait,
31:32drinking 10 glasses
31:33of water
31:34is going to burn
31:35100 calories?
31:36How does that
31:37even make sense?
31:38Because the chapstick,
31:39it makes sense
31:39because I'm putting
31:39my arm up 500 times.
31:41But water,
31:41you're just doing it
31:42maybe like 20 total times
31:43assuming it's like
31:44two gulps per glass.
31:45So there's no way
31:46you actually burn calories
31:47from drinking a glass of water.
31:48I mean, look,
31:49I've definitely been wrong
31:50before after doubting myself,
31:51so I may be telling
31:52the truth here.
31:53Let's see.
31:53Okay, so I guess
31:54I'm about to drink
31:5410 glasses of water,
31:55but for every glass,
31:56I should burn 10 calories.
31:57So we'll know very quickly
31:59whether or not this works.
32:00Not feeling great
32:00about this one,
32:01mainly because I have
32:01to drink 10 glasses of water.
32:03And I'll fill this up.
32:03This is going to be
32:04a true 12-ounce glass of water.
32:06All right, there we go.
32:07Full glass.
32:07Start the calorie tracking now.
32:10Okay, we're at zero
32:11just to show.
32:12Let's drink.
32:13Cheers.
32:16I guess it doesn't say chug,
32:17so I could take my time.
32:18Maybe that burns more calories
32:20by stretching it out a bit.
32:22Nice weather we're having.
32:23Glass number one.
32:26Complete.
32:27So I should have burned 10 calories.
32:28Let's check in here.
32:30Six calories.
32:31Wait a second.
32:32All right, so six calories
32:33on one glass.
32:34I'll do one more.
32:35If we go to like close to 20,
32:37then I'll continue on.
32:38But if not,
32:39then we know that I was lying.
32:43Mm, 12 calories.
32:44You know what?
32:45That's consistent enough
32:46where I think I'm safe
32:47to say I was lying
32:48because it's six calories per cup,
32:50which means the map
32:51will work out to 60 calories,
32:52which is still pretty crazy
32:53just from drinking liquid.
32:55Like you're consuming stuff
32:56and you're burning calories
32:57while doing it.
32:57But I guess that's your body
32:58working to try to digest
32:59and take in all the hydration.
33:01All right, guys,
33:01that was a lot of fun.
33:02I think the conclusion here
33:03is that I'm generally not lying.
33:04I mean, I'm certainly not an expert
33:05on any topic,
33:06so take things with a grain of salt.
33:08But generally speaking,
33:09I'm actually surprised
33:09with how well I did.
33:10But with that being said,
33:11thank you guys so much for watching.
