Transcript
00:00They've traveled from Oakland to Vegas with their stupid costumes.
00:03There was this one guy that was sitting.
00:04It's wild, man.
00:05Playing in the old Coliseum there.
00:06It was wild looking up at the stands.
00:09Yeah.
00:09There was a guy dressed as like a gorilla.
00:11Yeah.
00:12And the Pirates.
00:14You do have the Raiderettes.
00:15I'm a fan of the Raiderettes.
00:16Oh, big time.
00:17My man.
00:17It's a crowd full of LARPers and furries.
00:20There was a bunch of Chris Shimes.
00:23Oh, is he a furry?
00:24All right, man.
00:25Maybe he and I could dress up as squirrels and dry hump.
00:27So there was a guy sitting a row in front of me at the Raiders game.
00:31And he was wearing these glasses that had like these things of iron pushing out to the side.
00:39And he had like a fake train that was running up his trench coat up and down.
00:44Oh, that's cool.
00:44And I said, I was like, what the F is this guy?
00:47And someone next to me goes, it's called steampunk.
00:49It's a Raiders thing.
00:52Well, maybe that's you nerds.
00:54It's like, I mean, honestly, like what other fan base is people who like,
00:57you know, dress up as Count Dracula or whatever it is, or, you know, an Autobot.
01:03They have spike guys.
01:05You know, the guys that were the spike.
01:06Ooh, spiky guys.
01:07Spiky guys are going to come get me.
01:08No, it's Mad Max, but he's even madder.
01:11It's like he's post-apocalyptic.
01:13What's going to happen?
01:14I mean, the Patriots have musket guys in the end zone.
01:17It's not like that's super funny.
01:18Hang on.
01:19Those musket guys aren't fans.
01:21They are part of the in-game entertainment.
01:24Okay.
01:25These are dudes who just wear them to the Star Wars convention.
01:28There's always a guy that wears the tricorn hat every now and then or whatever.
01:30There's that guy, sure.
01:31But you kind of feel bad for him.
01:34Well, I ran into the guy that has his face is all silver.
01:37He's been going to games for like 50 years.
01:40There's like dudes dressed as like Bane.
01:42Like, come on, man.
01:44Dude, you're like 45.
01:46So you love Mark Davis.
01:47You're a big fan of Mark Davis, but not the fan base.
01:50Yeah, because Mark Davis is a weirdo in a great way.
01:52And he doesn't care.
01:53He's an unashamed weirdo.
01:54He'll be the first one to tell you that he used to drive over an hour to get that awful
01:58haircut.
01:59And he had a conversion van that had VHS tapes in it.
02:03This is all real.
02:04This was like until 10 years ago.
02:06Ted, you respect Raider Nation?
02:08Or skeptical like Rich?
02:10I like the fan base.
02:11I've always been a fan of the Raiders, though, a little bit.
02:13Definitely cooler when they were in Oakland.
02:15I think they're missing that.
02:16Yeah, dude, that stadium was, I mean, they played, I think they played the same place as the baseball field.
02:22Yeah, yeah, yeah.
02:22So it was just the dirt, but the fans were right on top of you.
02:26They were crazy in pregame.
02:28I mean, look at this, dude.
02:29The costumes were insane.
02:30He's wearing like a hard hat.
02:32Ooh, time to go to work.
02:34It's cooler than the jet guy.
02:36Oh, that guy's a nerd, too.
02:37You're talking about Jay, what's his name of Tom the Engineer or something like that?
02:42Fireman Fred.
02:43Fireman Ed.
02:44Fireman Ed, that's what it is.
02:45Fireman Ed had an app.
02:47He was so cocky and so full of himself.
02:49He made a Fireman Ed app, and it only lasted like a month or something.
02:52But it was just an app that pressed buttons, and it was like, I'm not joking.
02:55The things that would be on there would be like the J-E-T-S.
02:57Then there was one that was like, oh, you've been a bad boy.
03:00Dude, Fireman Ed thought he was the Jets.
03:03I mean, he walked around, and he acted as if the Jets will fall apart if I'm not here, man.
03:10Remember when he quit?
03:11He came out, and he said, I can't do it anymore.
03:13Oh, it was after, oh, what's his name?
03:16Zach, the guy who looked like his mom.
03:19Oh, yeah.
03:19The young quarterback.
03:20What was his name?
03:21They just had it.
03:22Zach Wilson.
03:22The one whose mom was like, you know, hotter.
03:25If you would have put her hair on him, they looked like the same person.
03:28You broke my heart.
03:29Fireman Ed.
03:29I grew up an Oilers fan, so my dad had season tickets to the Houston Oilers.
03:33I thought that, I was, the House of Pain, I was into that.
03:36I thought that was cool.
03:36Oh, it was cool.
03:37But they had a guy like Fireman Ed, but his name was Crazy George.
03:41Crazy George.
03:42And he just pounded a drum.
03:43Yeah, I remember that guy.
03:44They would always show him on Monday Night Football.
03:45Yeah, he looked like the guy with Richard Pryor in the movie where they escaped from prison.
03:51What was that movie?
03:52Jim Wilder.
03:52Yeah, he looked like Jim Wilder.
03:56But what I found out was he went and all of a sudden he left the Oilers and then went,
04:01he was a Vikings fan.
04:02Also, I see Crazy George is a Vikings fan.
04:05Oh, he's taking Ragnar's spot.
04:07Dude, he gets paid for that.
04:10What?
04:10He wasn't a real fan.
04:11He was a mercenary fan.
04:12He was a mercenary fan.
04:12Do you remember when the guy who dressed like a Viking, he called himself Ragnar.
04:17Ragnar for the Vikings.
04:18Like, got all pissed because they wouldn't give him free tickets anymore.
04:23And he's like, dude, you're a fan.
04:24We're not going to give you free tickets.
04:25He's like, oh, Ragnar.
04:27I will protest this team.
04:29And they're just like, cool, Ragnar.
04:30And he made this big thing online thinking there was going to be this groundswell support.
04:34They're like, man, tickets are expensive.
04:35Sorry, I don't know what to tell you.
04:36Sorry, Ragnar.
04:37You're just like the rest of us.
04:38They move on from you, bro.
04:39But if you're going to rip Raiders fans for dressing up, that's the NFL.
04:42That's adult men dressing up as their team.
04:44Like, if you watch the Saints fans, they're all dressed up in Mardi Gras gear or something bizarre.
04:49No, wearing a jersey, perfectly fine.
04:51Even like painting, like put a thing of color on your face.
04:54Whatever.
04:55That's fine.
04:55Dude, they're literally dressed.
04:56Did you spend more than an hour to get ready?
04:58That's what you say.
04:59Jeez heads, do you respect the Packers fans?
05:01They're dressed like Deadpool.
05:02They're showing up.
05:03And look at this nerd.
05:04I mean, he's got a construction guy hat on.
05:08He's got fake skulls on his shoulder.
05:10Oh, your pelts of the fans of yore that you scalped and put on their pelt.
05:17They're outlaws, Rich.
05:19That's some nerdy stuff.
05:21I agree.
05:22But that's, again, that's NFL fan bases.
05:24They've become nerdy.
05:24No, no, no.
05:25There's no cool fan base when you put it like that.
05:27I'm not saying you have to be cool.
05:29As a matter of fact.
05:29You dress like Ditka.
05:30Are you cool?
05:30Like, does that?
05:31That's funny.
05:32That's like funny.
05:33To me, if you dress like Ditka, that makes me laugh.
05:36And that's funny.
05:36And the guy who dresses like Andy Reid.
05:37The Andy Reid guy's great.
05:38That is pretty good.
05:39I love Andy Reid guy.
05:40Oh, that guy's awesome.
05:41So you're into those costumes.
05:42Yes.
05:43And they're clever.
05:43These are LARPers.
05:45These are guys.
05:45What is that?
05:46That's a total LARPer.
05:48They've always been so nerdy.
05:49When I saw the Steambunk guy who, like, sitting in front of me in a trench coat with a train
05:53going up and down his arm, I was like, man, what are we doing here?
05:57And he wasn't even watching the game.
05:59He was just kind of like, like my outfit.
06:01Hey, Raiders.
06:03Hey, Raiders.
06:03Hey, Raiders.
06:05Hey, Raiders.
