07:15C'est ce que j'ai l'air avec Will.
07:22Oisprey reverse, Fantasmo walks the ropes up and over,
07:25lands on his feet.
07:27And the power and speed,
07:30an unbelievable skill of Will Oisprey.
07:33That backbreaker took Fantasmo for a ride.
07:37Will Oisprey has the best winning percentage
07:39of any competitor in the New Japan Cup.
07:45Eight wins in this tournament,
07:47all time, just one defeat back in 2019
07:50in the quarterfinals against Kazuchika Okada.
08:09Hasprey, very physical against Boushey in his first round.
08:16Match that wound up having four different referees used.
08:23Wait a minute, wait a minute.
08:26Oh my God, I can see the perfect view for shoulder blades of Fantasmo
08:34jamming into the barricade.
08:39Can't even reach up and hold where it hurts.
08:43it's a little higher than that even.
08:45Oh, just at the bottom of his shoulder blades.
08:49That's exactly where he hit.
08:54One, two, three, four, five, six.
09:02And rolling in quickly to break the count.
09:11Interesting that with Osprey such a huge favorite
09:15in his first round over Bushi,
09:18and then Fantasmo getting the bye,
09:22that 96.4% of the people who filled out brackets
09:28in the Sport of a Wrestling New Japan Cup bracket challenge
09:31had Will Oisprey advancing to the third round.
09:38because, for me, this match is much more even on paper.
09:44And Fantasmo with a 3-2 all-time singles advantage.
09:58Fantasmo, oh, he really leaned in there.
10:02Fantasmo had to do something to buy himself some time.
10:07And he may have just done it there by putting every ounce of effort
10:13that he had to send Osprey into the corner.
10:16and now pick him up and knock him down.
10:25Second rope, and that back is seizing.
10:29And drops the elbow.
10:38All right, so first time now, he has been questioning himself.
10:46Yeah, and man, he who hesitates is lost.
10:49You give Osprey time to recover.
10:54And he will show you exactly why.
10:58And the power of Osprey.
11:00Oh, and the back of Fantasmo's head,
11:03hitting the barricade,
11:04whipped all the way up and over the top rope.
11:14Watch out for Osprey, watch out, that punch-off!
11:16Oh, havers down on top of him.
11:18Thank you, guys.
11:31Thank you, guys.
11:35Fans here tonight, you know they're seeing a good one.
11:37Will Osprey.
11:40Help Fantasmo, second round of the New Japan Cup.
11:47Springboard form, oh, got him!
11:53Two, Fantasmo could have gotten KO'd with that one.
12:02And Fantasmo can consider himself fortunate there
12:06that he got his head turned around at the last split second.
12:09And even that was just enough to be able to absorb that strike
12:16and have the wherewithal to kick out.
12:30Osprey displayed a lot of heavyweight power trying to bully,
12:33physically bully Bushi in the first round.
12:36and certainly had a clear physical advantage from a power perspective.
12:45Fantasmo.
12:47Springboard.
12:48Cross body.
12:50Two.
12:51Osprey escapes.
12:52Now look at Lion Salt.
12:54Osprey out of the way, lands on his feet.
12:56Fantasmo would not be denied.
12:58Toppe Suicida.
13:30That drop across the barricade earlier on from Will Osprey.
13:34That drop across the barricade earlier on from Will Osprey.
13:35is affecting El Fantasmo.
13:40He's trying to get it all together, trying to springboard in.
13:47Well, look at this from the rope.
13:50Boy, absolutely no margin for error with Fantasmo.
13:53How about the lights out there?
13:55Great find and a hook on the legs.
13:57and a kick out of two.
14:04Fantasmo's tightrope walker wrestling style.
14:07I mean, an inch either way and it's disaster.
14:11He's masterful.
14:13But now it's the mental game.
14:15And for whatever reason, he has a mental block about this sudden death after the
14:24fraud was exposed.
14:26If he would throw that super kick right now,
14:29he could punch his ticket to the third round.
14:33But he just can't get over the fact that he was exposed as a fraud,
14:37that he had a hunk of metal in his boot for almost a year.
14:40In fact, for a year.
14:47You aren't doing it, you know, pussy.
14:49You, you, you, you.
14:52And now,
14:53Osprey doesn't even have to worry about it.
14:58Turn around mid-flight.
14:59How about that cutter there?
15:06So while Fantasmo struggles mentally
15:11with the sudden death, Will Osprey has no restrictions at all.
15:21No mental blocks, pristine physical condition.
15:25Will Osprey poised to go to the third round.
15:28Boy, he leaves himself wide open to catch the boot.
15:32And answer Osprey mocking Fantasmo with a whack right across the face.
15:42Oh, step up.
15:47And now step through the door.
15:49The ass cutter on the way.
15:51Here we go.
15:52Oh, no Fantasmo.
15:55What strength.
15:56Up on the shoulders.
16:06Watch out.
16:08Watch out.
16:08Oh.
16:10Here we go.
16:12Oh, no.
16:12Up on the shoulders.
16:13He's got him.
16:14He's got him.
16:14Hooked.
16:16The U.M.O.
16:29Leg is hooked.
16:30Leg is hooked.
16:31And a two count.
16:32He's got him out.
16:51I guarantee you while 96.4% picked Osprey to win, I'm sure 100% of us all knew it
16:58wasn't going to be easy.
16:59And El Fantasmo is going to make Osprey earn a victory if he is fortunate enough to get one here
17:05today.
17:24Fantasmo still figuring things out with his back.
17:27Oh, boy.
17:29Oh, boy.
17:31And Osprey escapes and pulls him in.
17:34Traps the head.
17:35Cheeky Nando's kick.
17:41Osprey had to get so small coming down off that corner.
17:47Almost liquefy himself coming up and underneath.
17:51And now Will Osprey.
17:54He's taken some punishment from Fantasmo, no doubt.
17:59But with Fantasmo's mental block on the thrust kick plus the issues he's got with his back.
18:06And Osprey using his head as a weapon there.
18:13And now Fantasmo's in a great deal of trouble.
18:18Wait a minute.
18:25Whoa, whoa, whoa.
18:26Oh, my God.
18:28Top rope.
18:29Wasn't running.
18:30No, Osprey lands on his feet.
18:35The disbelief has just sunk in.
18:42Sit down, powerbomb.
18:43Sit down, powerbomb.
18:45And a kick out, but just barely, just barely.
19:04But now the end is near.
19:06Will Osprey getting ready
19:09to send himself to the third round via Hidden Blade.
19:13Here it comes.
19:14Whoa, look at that.
19:16Trying to pop over.
19:17Shoulders.
19:18Wow.
19:21Fantasmo thought it might have been three.
19:26Hand kick from Osprey.
19:28Fantasmo goes down when he was arguing with the referee.
19:32You turn your eyes off of Osprey for a second.
19:34He makes you pay.
19:39And now Will Osprey stands aloft.
19:41Here we go.
19:42Shooting star right into the knees.
19:44Into an inside cradle.
19:47Two.
19:47Oh, my God.
19:55Oh, pop up.
19:56What a knockout shot there by Osprey.
20:03Here we go.
20:04Oh, he turns it into a cutter of his own.
20:08Does Fantasmo.
20:19All the way up, around, and over.
20:21And now is this enough?
20:23Has Osprey tasted defeat for the second time in this tournament?
20:29Fantasmo with a near fall.
20:32Effortlessly springing to the top rope.
20:35Here we go.
20:36Thunder kiss.
20:3886.
20:40Thunder kiss.
20:4286.
20:43And Fantasmo.
20:46So close.
20:58And while Fantasmo's been struggling mentally with this.
21:04Sundance.
21:05Wait a minute now.
21:08He's got so many weapons.
21:10A CR2.
21:11Thunder kiss.
21:1286.
21:12But now he looks confident.
21:14Now he looks confident.
21:16The mental block has been cleared.
21:17And we lost.
21:19Oh, hidden blade.
21:20He caught him with a hidden blade.
21:24And a second hidden blade.
21:27A second hidden blade.
21:29And it is over.
21:31Wow.
21:33Oh, my God.
21:35Oh, Fantasmo.
21:36The mental block.
21:37Will Osprey's勝利.
21:39He finally went away.
21:42And all systems were go.
21:46For her to, for him to dim.
21:48Will Osprey's light.
21:49After the game.
21:50The final game of the fight.
21:50By the way, Will Osprey's new-japan-camp tournament.
21:54Will Osprey's three-game tournament.
21:59Will Osprey's new-japan-camp tournament.
22:00But Will Osprey threw a hidden blade.
22:03Mid-Super kick.
22:09And then swung again.
22:24Et Will Osprey est venu. Il a payé un prix.
22:33Osprey est en train d'avoir un peu de temps.
22:37Aujourd'hui, le deuxième tour de la semi-final,
22:41c'est le premier tour de 19h30,
22:43Will Osprey est venu.
22:59I guarantee you,
23:01the trainers' room is going to be busy.
23:05One trainers' room will have L Phantasmo in,
23:08and I've got a feeling that Will Osprey
23:10is going to have to go right back and have his back checked.
23:32St. Patrick's Day, March 17th, Will Osprey will face the winner of tonight's Spain event.
23:40It'll either be Aaron Honare of the United Empire or Sonata.
23:49St. Patrick's Day, March 17th, Will Osprey, March 17th, Will Osprey, March 17th.
