00:10Anwar stressed that more than 10,493 Myanmar citizens and personnel
00:16had so far been repatriated to Myanmar by air and sea.
00:21He added that further repatriations would be negotiated
00:25between Malaysia's home ministry and its Myanmar counterpart.

00:32with Myanmar President Min Aung Laing in Puccajaya today,
00:36saying few countries are willing to accept repatriation in large numbers at their own expense.
00:43Anwar thanked Myanmar for its willingness to take back its nationals
00:46and said the remaining nationals would be repatriated according to the rules and procedures,
00:52subject to verification of their records.
00:55He said Min Aung Laing had also indicated that between 3,000 and 4,000 Myanmar nationals
01:01currently at immigration depots would be repatriated.
01:06Anwar also thanked Myanmar for its cooperation in facilitating the return of its nationals
01:11and reiterated his appreciation for its willingness to collaborate.
